How many MLS games have you been to? Do you know your city's MLS team? Here in Seattle we've got Sounders FC. Fan response has been high here, what about your town?

FC Dallas kind of lame and boring at times...but ok, I guess
I wish we had the set up you guys have plus MR. Drew Carrey backing the whole project up and being run the way it is by the fans

We've got an awesome stadium. They repurposed the football stad so it's enormous. Crowds have been 15k+ every match,

Well In NYC we have the NY Red Bulls, which I don't even know if they play lol. There is also LA Galaxy, which has Beckham, but I think he gets paid a s**t load of cash for just being there. It's all about ManU though

I think Henry is past it though. He (and the rest of the french team in fairness) had a very very poor World Cup, and Henry dind't really play his best at FCB

Europe and South America=Football or Futbol
USA=Soccer (??)

I know, but still, it confuses my poor brain when someone says football in america and referres to NFL.. I keep thinking football, as in soccer.
I don't understand how NFL is football. You kick the ball a few times, most of the time it is being carried or thrown... Oh well... I'm going to shut up now and get back on with some work I am meant to be doing....

Cameron was nice to look at! I'm a Days of Our Lives fan though. Hmm...if Marie can add a little more content to her dances and not faint, I think she'll be safe next week. I image she has a bigger fan base than Jenny Garth. Jenny is very graceful in the ballroom dances. I really enjoyed Cameron's Paso.

Fantasy Footbal League - No Dues, Autopick, Flex (Yahoo)

Hey XDA,
I just made The Binary Huddle league on Yahoo, so if anybody wants to join here's the link.
-Autodraft
-No dues
-Flex spots (including WR/TE/RB/QB)
-Fun scoring
This is a casual league to have some good fun with a little smack talk. If you're an extremely intense fantasy player who feels that you should be paid as much as the players for what you do, this probably isn't for you

Best Google doodle ever?

I'm not a massive Queen or Freddie Mercury fan by any means, but go to Google and click the big play button in the middle of the Freddie Mercury doodle. Audio is recommended - it's pretty damn impressive.

Queen weren't hugely popular in the USA. As if further proof were needed that they have absolutely no taste!
Freddie was simply one of the greatest performers and front men the world will ever see. That man had more talent in his little finger than every 'artist' currently producing music, combined.
I'd pitched up at work for a 05.00 start to the sound of Queen blasting from the intercom, and every stereo in the building. One of the night-shift guys broke the news that his death had been reported overnight. Everybody in the building, including me, was devastated. We played nothing but Queen for a good week after that!
RIP Freddie.

They went to college in Wigan with my mate and we used to go clubbing with Richard Ashcroft. The band were pretty new when they supported me and I hate to say it, but they were TERRIBLE!!!
It was about 89/90 and Next thing I heard from them was Bittersweet Symphony. A bit of a change to say the least!
I also forgot to mention that I supported my favourite band EVER - The Cardiacs.

The Official Football (soccer) Banter thread! (Including transfer rumors)

So yeah banter.
I'll start, Manchester city and Chelsea bought their way to success, they used oil rich tycoons to get to the top without the money they provided Chelsea and city would be a lower table club fighting for relegation.

Edit: Googled it and found THIS
ban·ter/ˈbantər/
Noun:
The playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks.
Verb:
Talk or exchange remarks in a good-humored teasing way: "the men bantered with the waitresses"; "a bantering tone".
