headset with volume?? - HD2 Accessories

iam using the headset that comes with the hd2, so it has play/pause rew fwd but are there any that do volume lime the iPhone does.

bump anyone ?????

You can try with this app which can assign double press action for each headset button (double press fwd for volume up and double press rew for volume down).
http://headsetbutton.com/
Or U can mod standard HD2 headset and add volume controls from other headset that has it (like it's described in this thread):

{SOLVED} Assign Speaker on/off to a key?

I want to assign a shortcut for speaker on/off to some key (like the recording button on the left side) so i can shift to speaker while being on call. can i do it? I tried it using the settings -> buttons but couldnt find the shortcut for speaker
Can't you just switch to speaker by holding down the call button during a call?
no...during call if i press the dial button (green one) it puts it on hold
there is a touch screen button for the speaker on/of but i want it on the button only.
You can do this through ae button plus.
a link to the cab would help me a lot please...

[Q] Remapping volume keys

Hello, i have a question about one modification... i would like to have volume controls rempaped to following:
Volume up (short press): Volume up
Volume down (short press): Volume down
Volume up (long press): Next song in playlist (HTC Sense player)
Volume down (long press): Previous song in playlist (HTC Sense player)
I imagine there are some applications out there that can handle the short-press and long-press mapping, but the mapping to HTC Sense player might be really really tricky. Pressing up key (on joystick) jumps to next song, pressing down to previous song, but it works only when media player tab is selected... any other tab uses joystick for other purposes. any suggestions for realization are welcome
I would also appreciate mapping shallow press and release of camera button to play/pause, while shallow press followed by deep press would result in launch of camera (as was intended by sony) but that's not too important as i can simply mute the radio player.
The thing is i use this phone as a MP3 player for my car radio, it is far more intuitive to use hardware buttons instead of touchscreen, not to mention safety... I'm used to this keymapping from good old K750i, unfortunately for xperia, other OS, other habbit.

[Q] How to change home and headset button action

Hi, is there any way to change the action for home button and headset button do when hold, or double press. Currently, my home button bring up recent apps when hold and voice command when double press. The headset (JAYS4) does nothing when hold and play next music track when double press.
Thanks.
Hi, there is an app called Headset Button COntroller which will do what I believe you're asking.

[Q] Next Track / Skip Song ?

I can't skip tracks with my HTC One.
With the HTC headphones (not Beats) the phone calls the last person on my calls list.
Is there a mod that could make the volume rockers skip tracks (double press vol+) or fix for the headphones?
All my older phones supported long press on the volume rocker to skip to next song, I know the from 4.1 that isn't available due to Google Now.
I don't think that any kernel supports that for now... You should try to download some apps from the Play Store that can remap the buttons in order to let you skip songs using the volume buttons...

Question How to put on to "silent" using the volume key?

From previous samsung phones, pressing the volume all the way down will turn into silent. Now i cant do it on my S21Ultra, i have to go the toggle buttons on top to keep it silent.
Anyway to use the volume keyagain?
Press volume button once which will bring volume, tap the three ... and you will be able to change volume there. That's besides the volume toggle in the quick toggles
**actually just playing around, if you go into settings>sounds and vibration>volume> and uncheck use volume keys for media, that will bring back using volume switch for silent, vibrate and etc

I use an app called sideActions. Some of the features are paid, but works pretty well. Allows you to bind actions to press of power button or volume buttons. I use power button long press to switch sound modes and short + long press for flashlight.
