i went to one of samsung retailers in Kuwait and the Galaxy S has full arabic support from samsung as you know but the price is kinda high around $800
so i went to ebay.com and ebay.co.uk and found both sites has cheaper prices although in UK its called galaxy s i9000 but in uk its Vibrant T959
i eventually want to use it in Kuwait so my question is if i buy it online can i flash it woth samsung official arabic rom if its available ? if its so from where i can download it? as i search into their website without any luck
also is Vibrant T959 is exact replica from galaxy s i9000 just code name?

yes u can use arabic rom in UK mobile version
i got mine from Handtec.co.uk and i have full arabic Rom

you ought to check what frequency bands your carrier there in UK uses, and what freqs the one you're buying uses - it'd be easy to buy one that's not compatible, especially for 3G data useage

there isn't a page where we can download stock firmwares from other regions officially from samsung support pages?

Try Darky's ROM, he finally seems to have managed to include Arabic support in the last version.

The Ginger Bread Arabic ROM is JPJV6. It has Arabic, Urdu and Farsi support.

Galaxy s I9000 Gingerbread 2.3.3.
Phone: I9000JXJV6
PDA: I9000JPJV6
CSC: I9000JPJV6
but kashif i9000 have offical arabic rom in samfirmware wgy u can purchase this rom ??

Hi I had the same problem as u u can either deal with the arabic letters being not connected or,u can get an arabic rom from sam firmware . Com its called jpa and it is under arabic firmware but dont download jp8 because it isn't arabic rom

go to the website samfirmware.com and under the gt i9000 firmware there is a section called arabic firmware and from there you download those firmwares

The scene is that i bouught a sgs here in spain from movistar as a gift for a friend in israel and want to unlock it and install the froyo version of israel.
I could also install the free version of froyo here in spain but i've been told that it´s better to put the local one because the gps...

I have Galaxy S with official firmware 2.2 I9000JPJPG and me as many others from the middle east Arab countries need to upgrade to the version 2.2.1 I9000XXJPU or I9000XXJPX .
the problem it's not support Arabic language, is there are any possibility to make 2.2.1 version firmware to support that language (at least Arabic reading and writing capabilities )

i have a Bell TAB that i flashed with the JME firmware to unlock it and it is working as expected, but since i am from Egypt i need the arabic support.
I have a JPJM5 that natively support arabic, so is there a way to flash the firmware of the JPJM5 to the Bell one i have to make it support arabic and act as if it is bought from Egypt ??

Not if the firmware does not support Arabic. You cannot "transfer" from one firmware to another. Each firmware is tailored to the locale from where it is released or if it a custom built ROM to the likes of the author.
Your best bet is overcome Jupiter which now completely Arabic enabled but I am not sure if Bell version will work for you. If your tab has a sim slot then it should work....

My Samsung Galaxy S I9000 Phone is running on Firmware 2.2 FROYO DTJP. The problem i am facing is that the firmware has no Arabic and Urdu support and i am unable to visit arabic and urdu websites.
Can anybody guide me what is the latest firmware available for Samsung Galaxy S I9000 with arabic and urdu languages support and how to install it on my phone.
