I just install the premium version of rom manager. I did everything it told me to such as replacing the recovery and fixing the permissions. Once it fixed the permissions it told me to restart so I did. Now it won't go past the initial boot screen. It doesn't even attempt to load the rom. I can go into recovery and do things in recovery as per normal but once I restart it continuously restarts from the initial boot. Help me

I have had Slim ICS 4.2 working ok for a month or so. Yesterday it suddenly started to give FC to all apps, so I rebooted it. The only thing that changed was that, when trying to update the Adaway lists, it gave me an error and could not do it. From that moment, it was stuck in the Slim logo for three reboots. After that, it started a reboot loop, showing the semaphore logo and rebooting back again. I have managed to enter Recovery by connecting it to a USB cable, after some reboots it gets into it. Three button combo was working for Download Mode but not for Recovery.
Can I simply reflash Slim ICS, without doing a wipe? I don´t want to lose my apps, at least not before backing the data conveniently. It would suffice to be able to boot and do a Titanium Backup, then move on to Slimbean or something. I still have the original zips I used to install it.

Ok so I am having some bizarro freeze problems!
So after i install a custom ROM - have tried both Trickdroid and Renovate - then when i go back into recovery and do a nandroid backup and then reboot it freezes at the 'HTC One' screen boot up. I thought at first it was a problem with TWRP so I changed to Clockworkmod and same thing!
Every time i reboot the same thing - freeeeeeeeeeeeeze at start up! I tried wiping cache, dalvik and fixing permissions and then this time it says it updates apps but then it freezes on 'updating apps'. I can get back into recovery holding volume down and power however if i then choose reboot then it freezes.
The ONLY way i can get back is to reinstall the ROM via a factory wipe and then it's the pain in the arse problem of restoring again. Then if i try back into recovery and even reboot from there it will freeze. So then it's back to factory wipe ... blergh! However if i do reboot WITHOUT going through recovery then all works and it boots fine!
What can i do?? A donation to anyone who can solve this!

either a data reset will fix your issues (maybe). or a complete restore. why even bother putting on custom roms? its only of those phones where I don't see a need. atleast in my eyes
try flashing boot.img in fastboot.

I am currently trying to reinstall a new ROM on my phone because all other ROMs have ended up deleted due to my stupid mistakes. However, everytime I choose install zip from sd card, mount, or factory data reset, in CW recovery 6.0.3.0 the phone shuts off and inevitably ends up in the bootloader. I have tried to sideload a ROM and then aroma installer loads up but as soon as i get past the settings and options and the installation begins it shuts off again and goes straight to bootloader. Can anybody help me with this. If I try flashing TWRP with the all in one tool it simply refuses to load period, so at least CW loads...
So today I was preparing to flash another ROM, so I connected my phone that was on a Sense ROM (OMJs v1.8) and began to delete folders on the phone from my computer. Once I did that I copy and pasted the latest gapps and CM nightly onto the root of my phone. All of a sudden my phone rebooted and would not stop, right in the middle of the file transfer. I did not flash this rom after it copied because the phone began to reboot mid-paste. However, I had recently just installed philztouch custom recovery so I thought that the recovery was the problem. I then installed TWRP through fastboot. Keep in mind I couldn't even access my recovery. Everytime I tried, the recovery screen would show up for a second and reboot. No matter which recovery I tried, my phone could not reboot recovery. So here I had a phone that still has my OS installed and in tact..but for some reason randomly rebooted out of nowhere, continued to reboot over and over again, couldnt even boot recovery or the actual OS. I had no idea what the problem was. When I finally calmed down and got recovery to boot philz touch, every time I tried to perform a simple wipe, the phone would stop mid wipe and reboot. Luckily I got recovery to consistently reboot and I finally got a ROM to install through recovery (not adb sideload). My question is has anyone else experienced this? And does anyone know why this happened?

Hello all. I have been in the Android root community for a little over three years, and even after tinkering with the various devices I've owned since, I cannot get my T599N to come out of its current bootloop.
A background: I had been checking some things in my settings app (running stock, rooted), and I ended up just force closing the settings app to get out of it quickly. Well, this action deleted all of my text messages, and later on it removed my notification bar and made my wallpaper go black. I ended up booting into recovery mode to try and clear the cache. After it cleared, I rebooted, and bam, the bootloop started.
Now, here's what's interesting. The phone is in a bootloop where it displays the first boot message (SGHT599N Galaxy Exhibit or whatever), and then it tries to boot into cwm recovery, displays the loading screen for that for 2 seconds, and just reboots again. I've tried installing a stock rom from ODIN with no success. The rom apparently loads onto the device but it's still in the bootloop. After this, I tried to install philz recovery to try to install a zipped rom to get the device to somehow boot. I tried to factory reset it for installing purposes, and it just reboots. The device will literally clear everything but /data, so that makes me think that it may be a file system problem. I really need to get it to work, as I am out of a phone right now.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried everything I know.
