It might be a ROM issue. For my Sprint touch diamond cdma, the latest Energy ROM FM radios had the same problem as yours. I tried several other ROM's and the FM radios worked. I'm using the FOX ROM with sense 2.5 right now.
I just wanted to update everyone, I flashed to a different ROM and it works flawlessly!

Why the heck does a custom rom I am using from this forum cause my Tilt to randomly loose signal? I am running L26 V9 and it happened with all of his ROMs. I hate the stock roms. I running the radio that is included with the ROM. Should I be using something different?
Radio is: 1.58.25.17
Please help me get this fixed.
Well a quick fix it to change roms
OR
flash a different radio
OR
you can discuss your problem here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=403214
No matter what videos, my N1 can not play.
Even those captured by N1 itself. And if fact my N1 can play so many different types of videos before I have flashed so many different roms.....
Now I am using a Desire rom....I dont know whether it is the reason of my proble.
But even I flash to another rom, the situation is the same.
....HELP!! THANKS!
Have you just recently flashed a new kernel or radio? If so, there lays your answer...
Most likely cause is Froyo ROM it comes with new radio , Froyo radio doesn't get replaced when you flash other ROMs , as they don't come with any radio update.
You need to flash older radio -> Radio collection

Hello,
I recently flashed a new ROM for me. modaco custom rom r4. it says that is for the desire in my software information.
so the LEd doesnt work and the trackball doesnt either. I beleive these are known issues. Still, is there any fix for them?
Also, is there a twitter now playing app that recognizes the htc player?
Hello,
can i upragde only the radio fw version ?some people are reporting better battery life with the new baseband fw. And if so, can i flash back the old "downrev" fw back, if i had problems ?
From :
Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31.zip - OLD, standard in 2.1 Roms
to
Radio_13.53.55.24H_3.35.19.25.zip - NEW in Chinise Froyo 2
I currently have the unrbanded wwe version 1.25.405.1 installed.
This is something I too would be interested to know. I have tried to do some serching but this is the first case I can find regarding the new 2.2 radio from the chinese rom.
I am currently on Puzzlerom 7.3
Once the v8 rom / v8.0.1 is stable I will go to that. Unless we have ourselfs a 2.2 froyo rom out before that. As I use my phone in a variety of ways and in multipule situations, I cant go without it for very long. 2 hrs at a time max.
Hope to be able to test things though ^_^
Peace

All components are working fine (gsm/umts,wlan,gps and bluetooth).
Only the frst Time GPS FIX takes a bit longer after update.
Also, the battery life seems to be a bit longer and the handy seems
to be more stable during calls with active data connections.
Hi everyone, I see that in Cyanogen rom 7 there's a FM Radio app that is part of the system (I think). I have a gingerbread Stock rom rooted and with the SU and quite satisfied with it, but i would like to have something similar like the FM radio app. So my question is: There's an FM Radio apk for gingerbread stock roms?? or this is something exclusive of the Cyanogen rom ?
Thank's in advance
Cheers
Unfortunately, the FM radio app requires changes deep within the system framework. So, without a custom ROM, the FM radio app cannot be used. Your only alternative is to use a streaming radio app.

My FM app does not require framework changes.
It "almost works" on most Nexus One ROMs, except for audio.
I have an experimental method that can get FM audio out directly to a Bluetooth headset, but the audio quality is awful.
I'm trying to determine if the FM audio path can be enabled on stock kernels.
I've installed the last stock ROM in my mother's Nexus One, and I finally achieved to run FM radio.
I used the last custom kernel from @intersectRaven (downloaded last version at http://intersectraven.euroskank.com/kernels/Nexus One/2.6.38.8/20120112_14XX/) and the old free SpiritUL application (I don't remember where I downloaded it).
At this moment, I only found an inconvenient: you can't use the radio and bluetooth at the same time, you need to turn off the radio and then turn on the bluetooth.
I hope this response can help some other users which are searching a solution for this problem as me.

Yeah, there might have been 1 or 2 now rather old versions of Spirit UL that were effectively released as free.
Newer versions can work with BT on, using an HCI/Bluedroid shim library, on 4.3+ AOSP ROMs with /system/lib/libbt-hci.so .
But you still can't get FM over BT on Nexus One.
