advice for a maybe soon to be hd2 owner

Hello everybody,
I'm thinking of buying a hd2 and I was already reading the forum and looking for some cases but the thing is... what should/would or must I buy!?
I also own a Dell streak. With the device I use a full body skin/protector in combination with a leather case.
So the thing is, there are a lot of cases out there and I really want to know if there is a great option which will keep the device slim and really protected.
Like full body skin (if necessary) with:
case 1
case 2 without lower / upper protection
case 3
case 3 - another picture
case 4

I will only suggest one thing ! Do not go for Rubberized Covers !! they make the phone hard as hell to slide in/out of the pockets !
As for the cover search for Otterbox Commuter Series Case

I love Otterbox Defender case. As previous poster said, rubberized cases are annoying in terms of putting them into a pocket. I use belt holster for my Otterbox. Works fine.

I had the Otterbox case. It made it way too thick.

(122 x 67 x 11 mm)
Look at size comparison of the two phones. I ordered the Seidio case below and it fits perfect.
The Sprint store has the horizontal leather case with magnetic closure, that fits too.
GO to seidioonline and search for Product Code: HLHEV4AS
If you order this holster make sure it reads Spring-Clip Holster for use with non-cased device.
Got mine today... Love it.

Interesting. I like the Otterbox precisely BECAUSE it makes the HD2 thicker, and easier to handle (for me).

HD2 Face-In Holster/Case

Does anyone know of a good skin/holster combo for the HD2 that has a silicone type skin on the phone and allows for it to be put face in in a holster?
I currently have it in the HD2 silicone case and am just looking for a holster that will fit with the added bulk, but am not opposed to buying a new skin/holster combo.

It is a bit thicker, but the Otterbox defender comes with a holster that one can use either face in or face out. Not sure if you want that much protection.

[Q] Any1 know of a case that's flush w/ the screen?..

I've been lookin' all over for a case that's flush with the screen, but to no avail. I've searched Google, xda, etc. Apparently, the Case-Mate Barely There Case is, but it scratches the TMOUS HD2 & may interfere w/ GPS reception (at least the Silver one, which OF COURSE just haaaaaad to b the 1 that I'd actually wanted >:| ). I've been lookin' @ the OtterBox Commuter, but can't tell from pics whether or not it's flush. So, what's recommended?

Theta b.s. I have that case on my tmo hd2. No scratches,gos works fine.

Do you have the case? In this thread, you said you think you might get it, implying you don't actually have it.

Quality White Case?

Anyone know of a high quality white case for HD2? I'd like to get an otter but I'm sick of black =/ Maybe red if no white? Thanks!

A non black hard case for the US version.

Quality plastic or metal, either way. Just sick of trying to buy generic cases on ebay and feeling screwed when the case breaks in a week.

Already have rubber cases =/ hate em. I just switched from the iPhone 4 and I've feel I've been spoiled when it comes to accessories lol

Yeah, I'm jealous of all the accessories the iPhone has.
The best case that I use for the HD2 is the Body Glove Kickstand Case.. I found that it isn't too ugly and it's easy to put on. Some people complain that it scratches their phone, but just be careful and you should be fine.

The T8585 is the US version. The T9193 is the Australian version.

No, the T8585 is the European version. The US TMO version is simply called the "US T-Mobile HD2". It never got a number.

Recomend a hard case for exteneded battery?

I am looking for a hard case for the Bionic with a Verizon extended battery. It must also be compatible with the Car, and Home dock. Motorola list one, but I have not been able to find one.

That's the only case I know about that's fits the extended battery...besides that the only other options you have are holsters which aren't really the same

18 months late, but the Diztronic case is still for sale on Amazon.com, and it's a beauty. I got it, and it fits MUCH better than that crap case with kickstand that Verizon sells for $40. In fact, this case fits so good, it fits into the nav dock (with the extended battery insert instead of the regular insert) and even the holster that came with that crap case Verizon sells.
Definitely worth $10
