I have a prepaid sim with kpn/hi in netherlands. Unlimited internet 3g works great with google search and maps, but gtalk gmail apps and even gmail in the web browser fails, market as well . Nexus one 2.2 was on t-mobile usa before.
APN Settings
Kpn
Apn: portalmmm.nl
Mmsc: http://mp.mobiol.kpn/mmsc
Mms-proxy: 10.10.100.20
Mms-port: 5080

Mnc: 08
These are default settings from sim card. Most website's had this verbatim.
Thanks for your help. And thanks for reading.
I have seem that this is a provider issue but they must have android phones anyone know another way to configure or at least get my email? Any ideas at all about how to trouble shoot further.

Hey guys, I posted this in general as well. I couldn't find anything for the life of me on it so I apologize if it's in here but I searched for about an hour. I got MMS working with manila 2.5 for Tilt 2. Here is the post.
Hey guys, here it is. I was beat last night.
http://thewingster.com/mmsfixm25.aspx
First use that link and download the OTHER networks fix by Valkyrie/Ace10134.
This will create a SampleMMSC MMS server in addition to the ATT one. Once that is done, go to all messages in you text messaging, then menu, then options. Once in this menu, hit menu again and hit MMS server. Here is where you need to put your settings and I think where the issue on the other fix has been. ATT's send limit is 600KB while Manila 2.5 defaults to 1024kb.
Server name: Whatever the hell you want it to be.
IP address: wireless.cingular.com
Port number: 80
Server address: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Connect via: MEdia Net
Send limit: 600 KB
WAP version: WAP 2.0
Let me know how this works for you guys. Make sure you actually have the phone set to use the new MMS server too =)
If this does the trick for it some one cab it up for me please. I can't right now. Good luck guys. Let me know if this does the trick for you. I have sent many of MMS fine.
mms fix
Please post to links for users to try thanks.
For those who can't receive at&t mms:
I used the PR MMS MediaNet settings tool available on XDA
Go to Settings>Connections>Connections
Delete all data connections before running the tool
Use the device Network Setup Tool to make your primary connection.
Run the PR MediaNet MMS tool to set the size limites
After setting up the connection create a new connection in com manager
Use Work Connection
Use these settings
Connection Cellular GRPS 3G
Name I used MediaNet No Proxy
APN wap.cingular
Username [email protected]
Passwork CINGULAR1
Do not use the proxy settings for this
Have all internet applications go to this connection do that in your com manager
Go into your mms options in messaging click servers click at&t mms make sure MediaNet is still the connection for send/receive mms
now it will send receive mms using the at&t proxy and the internet for other apps without the proxy
Does anyone know how i can enable 2 apns at the same time or make it so they auto switch from internet to mms here are my settings from the provider.
I have tried to set apn type to mms on the mms but it wont send or recive the files.

Thanks for asking the question.... I am very interested in this too, and would appreciate if anyone can answer this.
It just works on mine... for the APN for MMS, try moving that stuff to the top spots in the list that are for "regular" data... The "MMS" specific stuff probably is useless outside of the T-Mobile network.
i have viaero wireless which is a local gsm carrier
Go to a store and work with an agent until you have the correct settings figured out. I set phones up all the time for people with unlocked devices, I work as a cell phone salesman, and it isn't a hard task. I don't know your carriers settings, even what you gave isn't enough info, and ultimately it is a matter of testing this and that... For example, like I already said, try entering the MMS settings up top in the "internet" portion instead of the supposed "MMS" spots.
The G1 switches automatically to the right data account when doing MMS, assuming you have an account set up correctly. ie, I have my internet APN profile and my MMS profile. I have the internet selected as my primary, but when I send a MMS it auto detects that account is working right and tests the other APN's I have until it finds one that works.
those are the only settings the techs give me they said that android didnt support 2 apns at the same time. That you have to enable one or other but i tried a hero rom and it worked but the rom was too slow so went back to another one.
Hey guys I just got my captivate unlocked on rogers and right now the data isn't working. wifi is fine. Is there some setting I need to change or is there a frequency issue here since we don't have 3g here yet

So i just swapped over from an iPhone that was unlocked from Walmart and switched to a t-mobile Samsung Note 4. I have two questions here, one, does anyone know the correct APN settings for this phone? I've looked through numerous websites and have found too many different answers. The apn settings i have now work, but i feel like they may stillbe wrong. Two, why when i'm connected to wifi all of my apps load super fast but as soon as I disconnect from wifi none of my apps will load i.e. Instagram, Snapchat, Chrome. PLEASE REPLY IF YOU CAN HELP ME!!! MUCH THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!
