Disable Notification Bar - Hero CDMA Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have hardware problems with my HTC touch screen sensor. When I touch sometimes in the middle or bottom of the screen, it 'thinks' that I am touching the top of the screen and opens the notification bar down. Since there is probably no way that I can fix the touch screen:
My question is. Is there anyway to disable the notification bar?

No.

Is there anyway that I can re-calibrate the screen?

This is the exact problem I am having...I just don't know where Locale & Text is in settings. Probably a 2.1 thing:

You can hide the notification bar if you use LauncherPro

take off your screen protector

Adjusting the scroll bar on today screen?

I have the HTC Home screen. I have all my displays set up to fit the screen perfect. The problem I have is at the bottom I have my calender and it displays my up coming appointment all in a single line. When my next appointment is close its displayed on a second causing a scroll bar to appear on the screen running from the top to the bottom. With this it screws up my home screen appearance. Is there a way to create a small scroll bar just below the HTC Home screen? I noticed on home screen display, a lot of you guys have it this way. How do you get it?
Also is there a way to show only one up-coming appointment only, then the next after it has pasted?? I have the stock calender that came with my tilt.
Slighty off Topic, you could try an app called Today Agenda, that lets you fix the size of the calender display, alter font sizes, headers, etc, etc.
Thanks, but my fonts are small enough. Just looking for something to correct the scroll bar length or to just display one appointment at a time.
Figured it out, just lock the home screen through the customizer app. under home options.

Scrolling with wheel.

Hi there.
Is there a plugin which will delete scroll bars from today screen. I just wan't to scroll my today screen with the scroll wheel so that there are no scroll bars present.
This would a lot when using keyboard because scroll bar is so small when using phone with keyb. so it would be nice to be able to scroll the whole screen not only the bottom part of today screen.
You either need to remove some items from the today screen or make them smaller (if that's an option).

I would like to have more items on today screen but I'm annoyed by that horrible scroll bar.
My friend has a small hp ipaq smartphone and it has this kind of "no scrollbar" function.

How do I make a button to lock & turn off screen (like Soft Lock Screen)

I want something exactly like Soft Lock Screen, which, once I tap on it, will turn off the screen and lock the phone.
Only thing is, I want that button to sit in the Slide Down Notification panel all the time. Whenever I tap on it inside the Slide Down Notification Panel, it should turn off the screen.
Please guide me in the correct direction! :cyclops:

Any way to reduce the size of the navigation bar?

I keep returning to home screen whenever I type too quick while pressing the space bar
This gets very annoying. I've searched for a nav bar to replace the stock one but then my dock apps get hidden behind my nav bars and the keyboard also messes up too.
Is there anything to reduce the size of the nav bar?
Why not remove the bar entirely? Just use the button. One tap for back, hold for home and swipe for multitasking.

Not as far as I know. There are other options that can help. You can hide it altogether, which is how I have it. Loving it since day one. Or you could get it to hide in a floating dock. Or bring it up only on swipe up, I think.
I had a similar problem with a different phone. I ended up simply moving the keyboard up using the keyboards settings. Unfortunately I don't remember which keyboard app it was. I use SwiftKey now, and it lets me float the keyboard.

Too confusing. They should let you customise the gestures
Honestly I've removed the nav bar I just use the single button, finger print reader.
Tap for back
Hold for home
Swipe for recents.
Don't think I could go back to a nav bar now.

Question How to hide the lock screen buttons on the bottom left and right.

So I know on Samsung they had something right and that's the icons on the lock screen where on OnePlus I can't find the life of me to hide the annoyance of the camera. Does anybody have any idea of a way to hide it? Screen shot below shows the camera button. Or even more helpful maybe give more options for other apps or icons to be used there?
