Screen problem

Just received the ATT Tilt, but I am having some issues with the top of the screen showing a thin rainbow bar. Looking at it closely, it appears that the today theme does not fully cover the top area of the screen and this is where the rainbow bar sips through; this happens in all the other windows as well (apps, settings) and even when I rotate the screen, the rainbow bar moves position to coincide with the screen orientation. I tried switching to different Today themes to see if this rainbow dissapears, but no luck. It's strange that this effect does not happen on the splash screen (everything is one color), but immediately appears once the windows mobile 6 menu loads. Below is an image of a today screen with the similar problem.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to remove this darn bar....it's driving me crazy!I am hoping that this is not a screen defect and can be adjusted by some settings change.

haha thats a battery meter. Probably from one of the applications you installed.

rofl......i think thats the vistahide battery gauge. if it is, then all you have to do is delete the vistahide link from the windows\startup folder and then softreset

I removed the vistahide battery gauge from the start up applications and now I have a beautiful black screen! YAY!

Have you restarted after removing the shortcut?
Batti can also do the same kind of color bar, maybe that's the one you have.

Boot screens on Raphael?

Can u post some boot screens on this device to this thread?

Instead of saying rude things like I intended to, I will point you to the sticky called "Splash Screen Repository" on the very top of this sub-forum.
Then I hope you will bow your head in shame.

But i mean boot screen it is the first picture that u can see when u turn your device on.
On that screen right down is red text, which is saying ROM version, protocol and radio version
Splash screen is after boot screen and the animation.

Need help with homescreen?

Hey everyone, all the sudden I get a yellow twirl burst on my phone every time i slide to unlock on my captivate. I think it is slowing my home screen down because I try to slide to a different screen and i have to wait until its done? Thanks Let me know!
updated: Its a yellow sun thing that moves for like a second and then a white thing that flashes real quick along the bottom. It is hard to explain but was wondering if anyone knew how to turn it off

Sounds like some 3rd party app - I don't know of anything on the stock OS that does this.
What have you installed on your phone?

The third party apps that it could be is beautiful widget, or weather toggle widget. Not sure about anything else, but I don't know if there was any other recent update on an application??

It's probably Beautiful Widgets, as it has an option to animate upon unlock. Try turning that off.

[Q] Rearrange Lock Screen?

So I noticed that when sometimes, I go to wake up my myTouch and the lock screen is all funny. But the thing is, I like it and I don't know how to keep it all funny. I uploaded screenies for all you to look at.

Its because the wallpaper your using is a screenshot which happens to have the navbar and statusbar in it.

Nm I fixed it.... I guess I'm pocket is set a screen shot of this impede below and it made double effect wft
