tried it a little bit today. had some spare time. And beside of the bugs in the original rom (no camera zoom, etc) i couldn't find anything. so no bugs to report.
but the rom is fast as hell and really snappy.
nothing more to say switched back to my original rom within a hour. didn't had the time to config and install all the apps on this one.
Been using this rom since yesterday..
and currently im totally in love with this rom..
not that i dont like other roms.. but compared to other roms..
this rom feels like its on nitro boost...
i can say that its really fast.. and the memory mgmt also not bad..
but compared to indigo bean.. which ive been using b4 this..
i can say that indigo bean is more stable and have more free ram..
but when compared speed.. this rom got better speed than indigo bean..
anyway.. one thing that i've found out..
i can't sync with facebook..
how can i achieve that?

gonna investigate on that facebook sync right now... RLS 3 should be out soon, possibly today, with more optimisations, this time to the main system apps...
so in which case it'll load even quicker, run smoother, and more free space to the internal memory of the phone...
how do you find the battery life so far?

The batt life quite good for normal usage.. (twitter/fb/email/dial/games/gtalk)
but i cant really say.. since its only the first day i've been using this rom..
maybe later i will provide feedback on batt life..
regarding the fb sync.. just for clarification.. i cant sync fb contact..
i cant even add my fb account in the 'account & sync' setting..
btw.. thanks for your feedback.. and thanks for your excellent work..
i love the bootanimation..
really looking forward for the next update..
edit: can Super Circle Battery be applied to this rom?
Your welcome
I'm getting the same thing with the fbook sync, so I'll see what i can do....
Only the supercircle mod that i made can be applied, since its running off of the cyanogenmod framework, although its the dark bar... let me know if there's interest in a white bar version and ill cook one up...

The radio was built using HTC framework, this rom uses the cyanogenmod/normal framework, which is completely different andw incompatible, and it'll never work until someone builds a new radio app using this style of framework...
Ill quickly build a supercircle mod for the white bar when i get home tonight…

im not able to update maps to 4.4, it only says "download unsuccessful"
Okay, i've made a fix for both facebook sync and the google maps issues, just finishing up some things on RLS3 and it should be out today....
After testing the fixes, its obvious that the new facebook app version breaks the sync feature indefinately,... tried snakehult's fix but it didnt really work, so my conclusion is that facebook needs to fix something internally...
As for the maps, its also not updatable, the system tries to update it and the system says the new update isnt signed correctly, not entirely sure, so im putting this on the back-burner for now until i come across more info about fixing this...
Either which way, i've done more optimizing to all the apps in the system, more specifically the .PNG files, so it shrinks the apps down for more space on the internal memory, should load the graphics smoother, etc..
updating 1st post now with RLS3...

Yes, at last it's here. This is a basic port from the honeycomb full SDK and more doesn't work than does work, unfortunately.
What Works:
Touchscreen,
All buttons but home,
Network,
Root,
What Doesn't Work:
Anything that has fragments horizontally, aka the Settings.apk in Honeycomb
Sensors,
Wifi,
Sound,
Camera,
New lockscreen (Reverts to gingerbread style),
New launcher (Reverts to gingerbread style),
New notification bar (Reverts to froyo style),
But hey, it's the first wildfire port and many said it wouldn't happen

Rather than honeycomb which really won't suit our screen size and doesn't have many worthwhile new features (at least for wildfire), I was thinking of making a proper gingerbread AOSP rom with proper LDPI support.... I have holidays coming up and nothin to do It would be a great learning experience too, wanna join in?
OR maybe honeycomb would be fine too

Oh I didn't know. Just saw it in his thread. Maybe I'm a little behind because I don't really look at sense threads
That is a good idea, you can all stick together (devs) and do a different thing from cyanogenmod with gingerbread for exemple
Or work together with honeycomb or honeyfire
I think honeycomb will be fine if modified, fragments need rearranging and such, apps from gingerbread will need to added such as phone but all in all I think it can be successful.

Yea but just as Gmichaelow I am also a high school student specifically a junior and i have a lot of work to do in these last couple of weeks before i become a senior so updates very scarce until around June 12 when i get out of school and by then this rom will probably be outdated because of new gingersense roms so i might make a gingersense rom and then updates for this will become even more scarce but i am not sure we'll just have to see.

Thx for taking it over I ran UBER for a solid month and loved it. It was the most stable smoothest Z ROM for me.
I think you should keep the app drawer partially transparent....reason being there is such a huge variety of wallpapers that people like and with an all transparent app drawer view-ability can be a bugger on top of certain wallpapers.
Or even better yet give people the option and make a MM or a flashable zip for people to choose. Good luck with this!

Yeah, hate to be a real buzzkill here, but without a ROM to present, this post is basically just a waste and it's bound to be locked.
Ok dude I agree with you I haven't posted a Rom but unless someone wants a Rom with no service data signal texts or calls I suggest you and others wait until I am done fixing those issues or else youll have a broken Rom...

Josh, you're the man! I was hoping you'd do something like this where we get a chance to voice what we'd like to see in it. Here are some of my suggestions if you don't mind?
- V6 Supercharger Script or the init file for Option #9 (or whatever the general public finds quickest)
- the newest gps tweak which has really proven to be great for me the last 2 days.
- Miui Lockscreen (if it doesn't already have that)
- Honeycomb Battery Icon
I'm sure I'll have other suggestions as time goes on. Thanks for all of your hard work. You're a good man and a great developer! Keep it going.

Can't wait!
I flashed this this morning, and this is very smooth. But man! I've forgotten how bland Samsung's OS looks after using custom themes from other roms.
And unless this will be in the upcoming nightly, do you have plans to include a percentage icons for the battery? It's a small thing, but I like having it to gauge how much power I have left, and to not have to always dig into "Settings" to check.
Other than that, this is a great rom that you have, ECOTOX.
quick update guys

Take care of your personal life before worrying about XDA. Dragonmodz can wait. Handle your business first, friend.
so quick update
I apologize for delays on kernel and rom updates. As you guys know I've been in a very bad spot with $ lately. I'm workin on stuff still just I only have a few hours here and there right now trying to get all this sorted out. Also I will not be working on the Hercules for anyone who was hoping I would (unless someone donates one) I had to switch to sprint because I cannot pay the 700$ i owe for my Tmobile bill (3 months behind [will get it paid eventually =/]) So now I have sprint and a nexus S =[ (which btw.....sprint has WAY slow data and it sucks T.T) I will finish updates as i can. Also I will not be workin on th NS4G for those that may ask...I MIGHT post my personal kernel for it, but updates will be unlikely/few and far between. The Vibrant is still my pride and joy and will continue to be =)

Welcome to Fourth Bar: Revolution! I recently decided to return my Gtab back to stock and was rather surprised at how terribly it ran compared to Cm9, so I did what anyone would do. I decided to make my own version and speed it up!
Built with speed, stock features, and smoothness in mind!
Fourth Bar: Revolution
UELPL (US) Base
Android 4.0.4
Stock TW Experience
Init.d Support
Rooted
Superuser
Busy Box
Incredibly Smooth
Incredibly Fast

Google Now
Face Unlock
Removed Ads
Apex Launcher (Jellybean Based)
Better Touchscreen Sensitivity
I/O Speed Tweaks
Lagless Netflix & Youtube
(Note: Ebooks, Social Hub, Samsung App Store, and TW Music have been removed)
This Rom utilizes the OTA Update Center in order to provide simple and easy updates to you tablet. When an update is ready for your tablet, you will be presented with a notification letting you know. If you see on the forum that there has been an update but you haven't received a notification, simply reboot your tablet to force a check.
Please note, this is my first creation for the Gtab 10.1
I may not have every bug worked out, but I haven't found any yet!
If you find any, please let me know!
If you enjoy my work, please hit the THANKS button!
I always think its very important to let people know what the Idea is behind a project, even if it is just a Rom. There are decisions made in creating this that I feel people should know about. First off, you'll notice that the TouchWiz launcher has been done away with in favor of Apex Launcher. Aside from being an extremely customizable experience, Apex Launcher is built on the base code of the Android 4.1 launcher. This allows the launcher to function very smoothly and quickly.
Next, you'll notice that the TW Keyboard has been replaced by the CM9 Keyboard. In any system the keyboard plays an intricate role in the way that the user interacts with the software. If found the TW keyboard to be laggy and slow causing many typing errors.
An Aroma installer will be available soon in order to customize your experience! Expect to be able to add back in missing TouchWiz apps soon!

Downloading now! :good:
Another dev! Development board looked deserted for a while. I personally like TW but hate how bad stock ICS runs. I think I'll try this out. Thanks.

Btw, are there any removed apps?
How the #(@! did you get the transitions so freaking smooth? What are those? No way they're the jellybean ones. Just no way because those lag waaaay to much. HOW!!?!??! Its like a whole new tablet! Thanks man!
So just pushed an OTA Update (I've stopped it now)... but the included Apex Launcher update isn't working well at all. It only said that 1 person (me) downloaded it but if you did happen to download it and your apex launcher is messed up now just send me a pm and I'll get you fixed up.

Wow this is really smooth.
One thing though is that Apex Launcher shows there's an update, but it looks like you can't update it from the Play Store.
Yeah I figured I'd take a shot at this as I've been running CM9 for a while now... this is really freakin' smooth and the touch screen is definitely more sensitive. I'm really diggin' it.
Honestly I don't know what else I would request... I did notice the same issue as stated above with trying to update Apex from the Play Store though. I wonder if it's compatible with any of the custom Kernels out there? Not that it needs overclocked, but USB charging and custom boot animation would be pretty awesome (if they aren't already included... I haven't tested yet though).
I definitely have to say... Thank you for this bad ass ROM!

The latest Apex Launcher update is actually messed up for 10.1 tablets right now. I'll push the updated one in an OTA Update when its fixed. I preset some of the launcher settings so it won't allow you to update manually from the play store.
Any custom Stock Kernel should work fine. I haven't messed with any kernel setting. Overclocking this thing should make it fly! As for a custom boot animation, I haven't even tried to figure out how to change it yet. I mainly just focused on getting everything to run faster and better! Lol. Let me know if you figure it out!
I'm glad to hear the positive feedback!
As for the p7500... I'll take a look at what it would take to make it work. But don't expect anything anytime soon. I want to get the Wifi version working perfectly first.

Yoda's kernel makes this Tab really fly at 1.64GHz with this ROM.
Awesome ROM!
Bro pls integrate a good kernel with this rom. It can help the performance in many ways.
It can also help in clocking and volting. You know better.
Just a suggestion dude.

Actually, I do know better! Some people don't actually want a custom kernel... they just want a stock one. If you want to have a different kernel you can easily download and flash one. I've tried both Yoda's and A1. They both work well and really make the tab fly! I usually clock up to 1.2 with ondemand.
Great to see another Dev for the tab. Will flash in the am.

Wipe System, cache, and dalvik cache. If that doesn't work then try and re download.
Yeah that's good too...
You better mention this in the opening thread... Else this might be only discussion in the following pages.
' kernel choices left to users' - tag line ll be good I think.
Just a suggestion again. Or you may not get other development suggestions and requests.

[Tiny4579] - For the use of his trees, compile info, and assistance. I would not have been able to bring you this rom if not for him.
[PonsAsinorem] - For his trees and answering my questions from time to time
[mbobino] - For teaching me how to compile roms long ago and always willing to help.
[SynisterWolf] - For being the best android buddy a guy could ever have
Guys if you like the rom, consider donating! It's always appreciated and will go directly to helping me support my mini me's insatiable desire to consume ice cream!
I was an HTC Incredible user for quite some time in the past and have since moved on to the HTC Rezound and in soon at the end of the year, the "ONE". This is my contribution back to the device from which I started my android interests. I hope that you enjoy it. I will not be updating it often as it's pretty much in it's prime. Unless major issues or updates come about, this will remain the final product.
Thank You

One is inverted for people on the opposite side of the planet so they won't have to see the everything on the phone upside down
EDIT: Inverted is darker themed apps like holo styled white letters on black background type of thing... Give it a try if you're interested in a darker themed rom

Care to elaborate on what's stripped out in both? My internet is slow enough that downloading the standard 120 mb CM10.1 ROMs take 2-5 hours, and I definitely don't want to download all three to compare.

Might see you on the One later. Depends on the dev community, if it comes to VZW, and how painful S-OFF is.

Gonna give this a whirl, thanks. I love that you, tiny, and some others have kept doing some stuff for the Inc. It was my first Android and the first phone that got me into cracking flashing. And it was a really great phone for a while. Now it's been mostly retired, as a white noise maker for for my little one, but also prone to the occasional flash to update out of habit

You won't find anything in the slim or dev edition that's not in the standard version so I'd download that one in your case. Slim just has a large number of audio tonnes striped out and dev is baron of a few apks several people may feel necessary because our was built for me.
So no updates when CM gets updates? I'd try it but for that. Being a crackflasher, I like my updates.
I'll update if it's something worth updating. Like, next week I'll be adding center clock merging the Bluetooth tether fix and yahoo weather fix.
