Im looking for a kspec theme for my CM6 rc-2... is there any that can go on this rom??
im literally new to rooting.. i rooted my nexus one like 3 hours ago lol.. all the information im getting is from the here and searching the net..
if there is not a kspec theme for this rom do i have to go back and get cm 5.0.8? i used the one click method as well.. btw i love the new look! haha..
do i use metamorph for the theme? or do i have to flash it?.. (if there is a kspec theme out there for me)..
Another thing, if i do flash another rom, can i just flash it over the one i have without wiping anything?.. (i hated installing and updating all my apps and information again) ..

I wish man, BrandenK (the maker of Kspec) got an Evo so they are getting all the love right now. He has said he's gonna port it over but not until CM6 comes out of beta since they are pumping out the updates like nobodies business over there in the Cyanogen camp. Hold tight, hopefully it will be ported over eventually.

Hello all, I am new to this an have learned a great deal in the last month, I spend just about all my free time on this forum. I am currently running Cyanogen's 3.8.6.1 on my G1. Will the themes for his 3.9.7or8 work for my current rom? I do like the Hero themes and actually ran DrizzyJacNewVison3.2and it was beautiful and smooth but did not like the fact that I could not get full 3g and was not receiving all my text messages. I installed Cyan. 3.9.7 on my son's G1 and he alot of forclosures so I flashed his to JF1.5 because he liked some of themes that were out there for that bulid. I have looked in the theme section and can only find a few themses specifically for this build. I am not looking good enough? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

If the theme doesn't say specifically that your ROM works with this theme, then the theme won't work. You have to download a specific version for each release of a build, especially between Cyan's.

I would wait till Cyanogen releases his 4.0 stable build, that way you can get the latest themes for it. Cyanogen makes lots of changes in the files which are also themed. Putting one such that is newer than the rest of the ROM will cause many problems.
This is compatible on CM 4.2.+ because I only change a couple of files that rarely change anyways.
Just wanted to share my next-generation of themes. I only replaced the framework, mms and launcher files to keep the theme as small as possible while maximizing results. This makes the theme file only 3.65MB in size yet still gives you the awesomeness of Oreo, pink from pulse, the dark status bar and icons from hero, some inverted icons and animations from blur, and finally the speed of CyanogenMod.

Exactly what I've been waiting for, thanks Branden, I was just trying to mash some of the pink pulse stuff into your Oreo for Cyan and figured I'd check to see if you added Pulse yet and even better you mashed them up already.

Its because you have to register to download the files at that site that I am hosting this here for you guys. Before I posted everything on sites like sharebee.com but they disappear after a while and I want to keep a catalog of my work and find an all android base camp which is why I made the switch. Like I said in the first post, this is perfectly stable and awesome in every way but if you want to always get my newest updates and check out my other work it might be worth the 2 minutes it takes.
This is by FAR my favorite theme out right now. Can you port this for Akirah's latest ROM? Puh-puh-pleeeease? I've been having a lot of trouble with 4.1.999. Keep up the dope work!

That and the powerapp being unskinned is the only thing stopping this from being the perfect theme imo.
All I want is a nice black theme that is light and doesn't change the way cyanogen works...

Yea been using oreo since day one and it never fails.....but.....haven't flashed this one because of the Pink.
A version with stericson lockscreen would be nice

Really like the theme. Im using it now, just one minor request, can ya change the pink when you click on stuff to another color, any color? Green,blue,red,something other than pink? lmao, but seriously its an awesome theme. Thanks for all the work on it.
Hey, new here but this theme seems to be my favourite. None of the others seem to do it for me, they just dont seem complete or have slight design flaws. Nice job on this im just checking your others out. Mae sure you port this or create a new one with green for the new cyanogen

As promised here is a Beta1 for CYANOID2, This is a very light theme so far. More components will be themed as the day's go by.

So far i have only been working with the latest Cyanogen rom. Not sure about others.
I'm a noob. Will it be easy to install? I have no Earthly understanding of how to make these themes work, and all the instructions I've seen just go right over my head.
Anyone know of any good video instructions?

framework works great in my hero using cm 5.0.7 b7..launcher crash.

Do a nandroid backup and try it...worked with my hero.
Apply only the framework
I cant find one anywhere....well i found this one, but when i flash it, it goes back to cm6.0...doesnt stay to cm6.0.2, shoot, id even take that one, anything beats the stock theme!!! remember, im looking for a Flash theme. i dont like using side apps to make a theme, just because it takes up memory, kinda like "winterboard" for iphone. and 2nd, its an aria...the phone is awesome, just wish it had that nexus one performance!

I think you want to look for ADW.Launcher themes and they are different for the 2.2 android version. ADW has released 3 or 4 on there web site.
agreed im looking for a good flashable theme as well...not something to use through adw launcher....besides i modified my zip rom and i use laucher pro...wich doest have themes...so if anyone knows of a place to find flash themes please share it

The only way I've been able to make changes is using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=775970. Other than that there really is no other flashable theme that I've found to work. Please post anything you guys find.

thanks for this link...i just tried this and its awesome for some reason the aria isnt getting any love when it comes to the flashable themes...but its getting love in other places so thanks to all the developers who put the free time into making our aria better...and thanks again zeyoner for this link

I've been searching high and low for themes and nothing. There's only one and it's called extreme blue. If you want the link I can dig it up for ya. It's not a flashable theme it's a whole ROM install.

Yea that link would be amazing....I think I saw it somewhere but not sure if I could find it again....hopefully before long a good flash them will rise....that would be a great thing...thanks in advance zeyoner

Give it just a few more weeks! Since the stable build of CM has been out, its not too far behind that someone will have some decent themes. I am learning, and going to work on 1 myself.
It's sad that there is sooo much support for themes in other forums.
Agreed other phones are getting plenty of theme love...but the aria just ain't getting it....but hopefully it will soon

I agree it's an ok theme, I grew tired of it pretty quick. I've attempted to contact creators of other themes that I like that are avaliable for the G1 but no replies. I guess not too many people have the Aria.
well whatever you guys figure out. i wish it looked like bx-destiny.but instead of orange and black...what about a deep blood red color. anyways...i loaded it on one of the earlier alpha releases of cm6, but there is no wipe to answer or the end call button....weird...i guess not set up for the aria, which is nothing but a touch-screen. anyways....if anyone could figure out if we could get that theme for our phones, i think id stop *****ing about themes. id like a professional/fun look to it w/ black widgets like google search since i use that thing like underwear. any help would be greatly appreciated. and there has to be the "Aria Samaritan" somewhere right???
right then, ill pray for the Aria Saint who creates this theme.....

I so agree I too like and installed the Bx-destiny by LordSeth theme on a earlier version of cm6 for the Aria and had the same issues, with the newest cm6 release it doesn't work at all. I even posted complaining and asking if there is any plans to release a Aria version and got no answer. The creator doesn't seem to know english very well either. I would really love to see that theme on the Aria. I'm ok with the orange, red would look nice and so would a nice blue. I'm not picky!

If not, will someone please make one, i really want a Umbrella (yes resident evil) style theme. I already got a tight bootanimation and bootloader, now i just need some theme work. I use adw currently, but i've used launcher pro in the past, so if maybe someone can help me out here? Thanks! i tried to load this theme on the CELB 2.9. It says it installs just fine, then the phone just continues to reboot itself.. any suggestions?

Same I am using Celb 2.9, and mine turns on normally, but saying I'm roaming? Add in my battery icon is blank and has a ? in it. Talking about the one frosted linked. Anyone know how to get it lookin' smooth?
