What is this ?
This tool started as a "Creator/Renderer" for battery-icon-png's. And this is still the most striking feature in this tool!
(If you want to see how this started...there is a link to Version 1.0 somewhere down below )
The Rom Fumbler startet over at the Galaxy S2 Theming Forum and at first was only for Resurrection Remix Rom (S2)!
...but in the last few month it grew so much! Support for all kind of devices and Roms was added! So I decided to move the thread to the General Android Theming Forum!
This tool renders those images with the Java 2DGraphics-Classes and algorithms, that are highly customizable! You can create almost unlimited variations of "battery icon sets"!
It can also render "Wifi- and Signal Icon Sets" in the same way as battery icon sets.
Read the feature on XDA Portal ! (Thanks Guys for the promotion!)
But this tool can do a big bunch of other things!
Most usefull : It can create "flashable-zip's" of the above icons!
And there are still more things it can do!!! ...so here is the "complete" feature list:
Basic Features:
Easy "all in one frame" Userinterface (you will find out how it works !)
... play with all those settings in the Battery Renderer!
lots of highly customizable "Battery Icon Styles" (more to come...ideas always welcome !)
... You can change colors, charge-icon, with or without percentage text, fonts, thresholds, gradients...
... add your own custom charge-icons...(place your own charge icons in folder ./custom/charge/ ...see samples there)
... control the naming, size and output-folder
highly customizable "Wifi Icon Styles" (more to come...ideas welcome !)
highly customizable "Signal Icon Styles" (more to come...ideas welcome !)
Creating of overview.png's (If you want to show of your creations!)
Rom Presets to get the Settings right for your kind of Rom[/B]
...if you your Rom is not in the Presets...no Problem!...if you found the correct settings for your Rom...save a new Rom Preset and share it with others!
...upload it here and I will integrate it in future Versions of the Rom Fumbler
Create "flashable-zips"
... Creates a backup during flash (Thanks to the "Universal Flasher Tool")
... there are "Rom-Presets" for a lot of Roms confirmed to be compatible
... lots of different Roms supported (Best chances, if you have an AOKP-Rom)
... Custom dpi-support
Add "Toggles" to your flashable-zip
... predefined toggle-sets (Attention the predefined toggles are mostly for AOKP roms)
... Add your own toggle-sets to folder ./custom/toggles/<setname>
Add "Signal and Wifi icons" to your flashable-zip
... predefined signal&wifi-sets (Attention the predefined sets only work with AOKP roms)
... Add your own signal&wifi-sets to folder ./custom/signalwifi/<setname>
Add "Weather Icons" to your flashable-zip
... pedifined weather-sets (Attention the predefined weathericons only work with AOKP roms)
... Add your own weather-sets to folder ./custom/weather/<setname>
Add a custom "Lockrings" to your flashable Zip
... lockrings are resized and renamed to fit your Rom's framework-res.apk (Rom-Presets)
... predefined lockrings
... and you can add your own logrings to folder ./custom/lockhandle/*.png
Support for "transparent notification area"
Advanced Features:
With this advanced stuff you can create full themes for your Rom!
Files added to the flashable-zip with these features are not resized, renamed, checked...
So use with caution...you need to know what you are doing! You need to know how your Rom and apk's look from the inside...
Add any "icon-set" to SystemUI.apk (use with caution!!! no checks, no resizing, ...)
... Add your own icon-sets to ./custom/systemui-mods/<foldername> (see examples there)
Add any "icon-set" to framework-res.apk (use with caution!!! no checks, no resizing, ...)
... Add your own icon-sets to ./custom/frameworkres-mod/<foldername> (see examples there)
Add custom file-sets to your flashable zip
... Add your own file-sets to ./custom/XTRAS/<set-name> (see examples in there)
... for example add apk's, libs, media files whatever you want to be flashed alongside your icons
... (I use this frequently after full wipe installing a new rom...I add some of my own developed Apps to the rom.)
Add custom "Themes/Morphs" to your flashable-zip
... Add your own icon-sets to ./custom/MORPH/<theme-name> (see examples in there)
... theme any apk
Add custom "precompiled xml's" to your flashable-zip
... Add your own xml-sets to ./custom/MORPH_XML/<set-name> (see predefined examples in there)
... Predefined sets to change Battery-charge-Animation can be found here!
Confirmed to work with the following ROMs: (this is only a small selection)
Rootbox all devices
Resurection Remix 2.x & 3.x.x
HydraH2O 1.4.1

Installation & How to use this tool (short version)
This tool is written in pure Java. So the only thing you need to have is a Java Runtime 1.6 or 1.7.
Download the BatteryIconCreator...zip (Links above)
Unzip the tool to any directory
Step into that directory
Look around...see the ./custom/... folder? This is where you can put your own custom stuff !!!!
Doubleclick in the Jar-file
... or better use the start.bat to start this tool!
Choose your ROM-Preset in tab "Rom-Settings" (Default values are for hdpi ROM's like Rootbox)
Choose a Battery Design
Play with all those different settings to customize your battery icons
Choose a Wifi Design
Choose a Signal Design
Choose any other stuff you want to add
Play with all those different settings...
Create/Refresh your images (Play-Button)
If you just want the icons and no flashable-zip, then goto
... the folder "./pngs/..." in the above directory and find your Icons in there...
Or (when you are satisfied with your settings) create a flashable-zip (Button next to Play-Button)
... find the flashable-zip in the "./flashablezip_out"-folder...

Ok first thing: the png's in your SystemUI.apk are named different than my defaultnames (suitable for AOKP/CM9-10)
You need to change the names in the input-Dialog to :
stat_sys_battery_ --> remove "circle_"
stat_sys_battery_charge_anim --> remove "circle_"
If this still leads to an error try the following:
There still is the xhdpi folder in the flashable zip...I don't know if its a problem, but after creating the Zip open it with 7zip and remove the drawable-xhdpi from MORPH\system\app\SystemUI.apk\res\
If this does'nt help either, it might be a recovery-problem (What kernel/recovery-version do you use ?)

Hey I just checked now
And interesting list which I will look forward too seeing
So basically right now as good as the mod is i won't be able to use it on. Ics RR2.7 purely due to the size as it sticks it too much from the rest of icons in status bar.
I just noticed now even on RR jb the mod is slightly taller then the rest of the icons so will check out ur new 3.0 version if that helps.
Keep up the great development and making it more possible for noobs to modding to get off thier ass and make thier own mods.

GLOSSARY-
ADB-The Android Debug Bridge. A collection of tools that any rooted Android user should have. ADB allows one to interact with their device from a terminal interface. This enables the user to do a variety of tasks such as sideloading applications and more.
Android-A Linux based operating system created and mostly designed by Google. The major revisions are 1.0, 1.1, 1.5 (Cupcake), 1.6 (Donut), 2.0/2.0.1/2.1 (Eclair), 2.2 (Froyo), 2.3 (Gingerbread), 3.0 (Honeycomb - tablet only), 4.0/4.0.1/4.0.2/4.0.3/4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and 4.1 (Jellybean). The majority of Android major revisions are named after desserts.
APK-Android PacKage. These are, basically, Android applications and all of their data. They are run via the Dalvik Virtual Machine on your device.
Bootloader-The part of a computer that loads the operating system. If this is damaged/deleted... You're going to have a bad time.
ClockworkMod-A tool that allows you to flash the phone with different ROMs from the phone (without using a PC). This is handy for developers or those who like to play around with different modified ROMs.
Download Mode-Activating Download Mode gives you will have the ability to flash .pit, .tar, .tar.md5, or other files via ODIN on your PC.
Flashing-The act of installing a ROM, Kernel, or other Mod (usually contained in a .zip folder) onto an embedded device or emulator.
Heimdall-A community designed alternative to Odin, Heimdall allows you to do everything Odin does in a much safer, less buggy environment.
JFD, JI6, KA6, etc-Samsung's naming system for the software updates they build. If you look at the full name of a firmware update, say T959UVKA7, T959 is the device model (Vibrant), UV is the region code (UnitedStates Vibrant, maybe?), K is the year of release (J = 2010, K = 2011), A is the month (A-L = January-December), and the number at the end is the revision number. So the firmware name is telling you "Vibrant, United States, 2011, January, revision 7.
Odin-The infamous flashing tool designed by Samsung, Odin is a Windows program that allows users to push ROMs, radios, and more onto their device from the comfort of their PC. Notoriously buggy. Heimdall is the recommended alternative.ROM - The name given to software on embedded devices (mobile phones, for the most part). "Flashing" a ROM means that you install that software on your device.
Overclocking-Increasing the "clock" of a processor to increase its speed at the expense of battery life and possibly your phone. Not all processors overclock the same, even if the hardware is identical. One phone with a Hummingbird SoC will not be able to overclock to 1.2ghz, yet another would be able to overclock to 1.7ghz (not very likely).
Radio/Modem-The parts of a firmware that allow communication between the operating system, the telecommunication hardware, and a mobile network. Some radios give good battery life, some good signal, some neither.
ROM-Read Only Memory, in this case referring to the phone's internal memory where your firmware/apps are stored. When people say they're flashing a new ROM, it means they are flashing a new version of the Android firmware onto their phone - the two terms are interchangeable.
Rooting-A device hack that provides users with unrestricted access to the entire file system of their mobile devices.
Sideloading-To install applications without using the official Android Market.
XDA-This site; XDA Developers was founded for developers by developers. It is now a valuable resource for people who want to make the most of their mobile devices, from customizing the look and feel to adding new functionality.

Odin v1.7-Samsung's flashing tool used to flash Roms/Kernels/etc onto Samsung Galaxy S devices.

FAQ/ABOUT-
About:
Welcome to the Official XDA Vibrant Bible Thread! More than likely you've already browsed through the Bible and have a gist of what it's all about. If not, I'll gladly elaborate. Here you can find everything you'll need to get that Vibrant running the way you've always dreamed. ROMs, kernels, mods, scripts & more; it's all archived here and at your disposal. As mentioned in post one, credit goes to the original creators. This thread wouldn't have been possible without the contributions of many. So don't just thank me for this, thank the community and developers whom worked tirelessly cooking the ROMs and kernels of which this Bible is comprised of. Thank the people who searched their computers for backups of ROMs and kernels so that they may be hosted indefinitely on the Bible's SourceForge page. Thank them. They deserve the credit just as much as I.
FAQ:
Q. Hey, my favorite [insert ROM/kernel/mod/other] isn't mentioned anywhere in the Bible! What gives?
A. Sorry I must have missed it. If you'd like me to add it, please send me a Private Message containing the name of the file and a link to the original thread or source. I will gladly add it.
Q. My phone is all wonky after flashing some file I found linked in the Bible! What do I do?
A. Can't really help you there. Perhaps you followed the directions wrong? Maybe the file wasn't meant for whatever version of Android you're running? There are dozens of different variables that could have resulted in your issue. However, here really isn't the place to ask. Go to the thread you originally found the file, explain what happened and the issue at hand. I'm sure someone will help. Or try googling your issue, more than likely, you're not the first person to have the issue. If all else fails, make a thread about it. But again, this isn't the place to ask. I'm also not responsible for any damages to your device.
Q. This is awesome! How can I donate to you?
A. Thanks, but no thanks. I do not and will not accept donations. However, if you truly feel the urge to pass on some greenbacks, donate to your favorite developer(s). They deserve it, and I can guarantee that they'll appreciate it.
Q. Can I make a suggestion?
A. Of course! I'm always open to suggestions. Just send me a Private Message.
Q. How come some files in the ROMS, KERNELS, and SCRIPTS sections have a "*download*" link next to it?
A. At one time many developers hosted their work on sites like Multiupload and Megaupload. As you know, these sites were seized by the FBI in early 2012, thus destroying all hosted material; both good and bad. This caused a lot of older ROMs, kernels, and even a script or two to disappear with it. During the making of this Bible I discovered that even some of most popular ROMs had been hosted solely on Megaupload or Multiupload, and threads were now littered with dead download links as a result. So I went on a quest to hunt down these files. Some I had backed up on my own computer, some I was able to find with some in-depth googling, and for others I had to reach out to the community to find a copy. Once a missing file was obtained, I uploaded it to the Bible's SourceForge page, where they will be hosted indefinitely. So to cut a long story short, those "*download*" links are simply mirror downloads, since the original download links are dead. Most mirrored files will be hosted on SourceForge, some others will be hosted by other members of the Vibrant community on sites like MediaFire, etc.
CREDITS-
This thread is the result of a community effort. It's the result of the developers, who worked late into the night to bring you the latest and greatest. It's the result of the hardware modifiers, who discovered that a front-facing camera can indeed be installed on this device. It took a community of Android lovers and fanatics alike to make this a possibility. Don't think this is the result of just one, or two, or even three individuals. This was the result of a community, spanning states, countries, and even continents. A community comprised of hundreds and thousands!
I would like to give special recognition to:
✝ serendipityguy- Kernel section based off his Kernel Bible
✝ fishman0919- Contributed two copies of the "Dead Horse" kernel, one being the last version released & contributed a load of Team Toxic ROMs
✝ Moped_Ryder- Contributed both a flashable and zImage copy of the "v116 Dead Horse" kernel
✝ Woodrube- Gave helpful suggestions in regards to organization of this thread
✝ Br1cK'd- Contributed a copy of his "GingerZen 1.0" & "Loki 2.4.1" ROM
✝ testomat- Contributed copies of the "subZero" Voodoo kernel ranging from v1.2 to the last version released, v1.6

NOTICE 1 (11/10/12):
First and foremost, I appreciate all the kind words. It means a lot!
Now, I'm very excited to announce two new additions to the Vibrant Bible! (Links + Downloads in the OP):
Loki 2.4.1
GingerZen 1.0
Humongous shout-out to Br1cK'd for uploading and sending me a copy of both of these ROMs! For some of you older members, you may recall Loki from back in the Froyo days. Think a little harder, you may recall that it was pulled and has been MIA since early 2011. Well, for the first time in almost two years you can now get a copy! Trust me, you're not going to find a download link anywhere else, I've looked. Consider it a Bible exclusive.
However, I want it to be clear that Br1cK'd has no intention of reviving Loki. Support for it is completely dead, and that is made very clear in the Loki thread linked in the Bible.
Again, props to Br1cK'd for sending me copies! I believe he deserves a good helpin' of "THANKS" and "LIKES" from the community.

Hello!!
I am glad to present my theme Colorful.apk which was created by use of reengineering methods and which based on non-commercial ideas and solutions of many developers, users and members of XDA.
1. The theme created for CM and CM-based ROMs (for CM Theme Engine only).
2. It was testing on last official CM13.1-nightly and continuously is used now on OnePlus One, Xiaomi Mi4i and Nexus 7 (WiFi).
Some minor problems are on CM 12.1 which related only to coloring of some icons and switches.
3. Themed:
- framework
- SystemUI
- Settings
- CM Updater
- Theme Chooser
- Trebuchet
- Dialer
- bootanimation
- icons
- fonts
- ringtones (who likes blues will be surprised), notifications, alarm sound
- and...
4. My theme could be used as a template for creation of own themes! There are a lot of comments in the decompiled text. It can to help for you!. I will be very glad if my theme will used as a template which will be expanded by new functions!
5. For modification or modernization could be used software:
- Notepad ++ (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/)
- AndroidMultitool 3.5.8 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2326604) for decompiling, compiling and signing of apk. Program works fine on Win 7 and Win 10! Dear @Flextrick, please, update your program to new version!
- PhotoScape (http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php) for resizing and coloring of icons
- Android Asset Studio (https://romannurik.github.io/AndroidAssetStudio/index.html) for generation of icons and other drawable's
- RGB Chart & Multi Tool (http://www.perbang.dk/) for choosing of colors
5. I not tested all special icons for CM-based ROMs such as RR, BlissPOP and etc. I think some icons could be not themed in accordance with my style. But it could be the future work for you! I named my style for theme as a "Material - Color Contrast".
Please, not use all ideas and solutions from this apk for commercial goals! Only open and free access for all!I am very grateful to everyone who helped me with their ideas, solutions and discussions on pages of XDA!

Is this theme working on resurrection remix room based cm13 latest update?

Yes, Colorful is working in RR but there are some issues:
- not colored some icons in QS (RR has many additional icons in QS in comparing with other CM ROMs)
- theming function for status bar in RR duplicates the same options of Colorful and has the main priority. In this case these functions in Colorful not work (color and font for clock in status bar and etc).
But I think it could be your task for modification of Colorful.
I am using this theme in combination with android and hexo themes without any issues on CM 13 Nightly.
