XDA IIs Up To Date

I've had my XDA IIs for a couple of weeks now and now I have found the time to upgrade all the software/roms/ etc... This is what i have under version in settings:
ROM version: 1.12.62 WWE
Rom Date: 10/04/04
Radio version: 1.02.00
Protocol Version: 1337.32
ExtRom Version: 1.12.925 WWE
Please guide me to the newest rom if there even is one. Also i noticed that you can only set specific photo for each caller but nothing about a specific ringtone for each caller. Has o2 release something to allow individual ringtones?
I have an unlocked o2 Xda IIs and am currently in the USA. Everything works fine now and i don't want to have any problems. Please help me. Thanks in advance

for specific ringtones based on callerid, you need to upgrade to photo contacts 1.20 -

Hi,
I used to have the 02 rom on my XDA IIs but changed it to the latest IMate rom with is a lot more stable.
Imate have released a new rom for the PDA2K but this rom can also be used on the XDA IIs by making a few alterations to the country code. If you require, i can provide instructions?

It is the black one, but it came unlocked when I bought it. I bough it off of an ebay user.

Sorry guys, i don't know how to unlock it. I bought my xda IIs off of a user on ebay and it came unlock. Sorry for getting your hopes up.

US Verizon xv6600 (CDMA MDAIII, XDAIIi or xdaIIs) ROM

Here is a link to Verison USA's ROM for the CDMA MDAIII, I'm not sure what we should call this one???? It is the CDMA 3G version of the MDAIII without the camera. Radio stack would not work in MDAIII and camera is not there, but the bluetooth update may still be of value.

Might have to move it based on Device Version Number.
Seems that this will be no good for the rest of the PH20B users. Its got no wifi (nor does the Harier) as well as no Camera (same as the siemens) Not to mention the radio.

O2 XDA Mini S & BT File Transfer Problem - Please Help M

My apologies if this has already been answered, but I have a Nokia 6630 and an XDA Mini S which I upgraded to the IMATE Rom, details as follows
Rom Version - 2.16.9.1 WWE
Rom Date - 2/6/06
Radio Version - 02.07.10
Protocol Version - 413.1.03
Ext Rom - 2.16.9.101
I can only create a Dial Up Networking connection between both devices via Bluetooth and subsequently cannot transfer files from one device to another
I have tried editing the registry, turning on beams and using the latest Resco File Explorer but no joy
Can someone please assist me otherwise I will be selling this and reverting back to the XDA 2i

I have been reading through the threads and some say its a Rom problem while others say it's something else....really confusing
I was wondering if upgrading to the new O2 Rom will sort this, obviousley I don't want to do this if it slows down my device

Change MDA Vario to XDA Mini S

Hi all,
First post so be gentle.
Basically I want to turn my MDA Vario into an XDA Mini S so I can use my O2 sim.
I have read through some of the unlocking codes but it all looks a bit confusing. I would like the O2 screen instead of T-Mobile.
Any help really appreciated.
ROM version: 1.6.2.4 WWE
ROM date: 11/15/05
Radio version: 01.12.10
Protocol version: 4.0.13.23
ExtROM version: 1.6.2.105

If you are confident in doing so, follow the instructions in the first sticky to unlock the sim and cid.
Then go to the upgrading wiki page http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Wizard_Upgrades select the rom you want, download and follow the standard flashing instructions.

I found it worked fine for the XDA Mini-S

If you follow what andy_morgan has said, then you can use your O2 SIM. I have a Cingular 8125 which after being unlocked allowed me to use an O2 SIM, Vodaphone (UK & Cyprus) and T-Mobile (Hungary). The only thing you would be missing is the O2 Plus software which can be had separately if you search the forum. It runs fine on my phone.
The site referenced by Garf asks for the IMEI and mobile number. It wouldn't surprise me if O2 aren't cross-referencing this to ensure it really is one of their mobiles.

Took a chance and attempted to unlock it last night, worked fine and I can now use my O2 sim.
What I want now though is no reference to O2, so its like it was originally an XDA Mini S.
Would flashing an O2 rom over the T-Mobile one do this?

I'm from India.I bought a second hand HTC HD7 phone few days back. When i start the phone it shows O2 logo and in settings i can see O2 UK settings under e-mail setup. So i understood that it's a phone imported from UK. I have updated the phone with latest update using Zune - Mango update.
Now i wish to know that is it possible that i can flash my current ROM - O2 UK with Asia WWE ROM??? What are the limitations? Or can i go for any ROM???How to find correct ROM for HTC HD7 9292.
Please help.

follow these instructions, here.
for Step 06, i suggest O2 UK 3.04.206.01.
after you have either R/HSPL'ed your device you can flash any ROM.
please make note of Step 38 before flashing any Shipped ROM, though.

with XSPL, one can flash any Schubert ROM.
