[Q] Help With Finding a Stock Notification Sound - Hero CDMA Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just recently flashed my phone to DarchDroid 2.8 and was in the process of changing all of my ringtones, alerts, etc. I really like the alert "Simple - High" from the stock HTC Sense UI. Does anyone have this alert sound that they can post? Or maybe someone can pull it out of the Sprint ROM?
Thanks for your help!

I'm running Fresh 2.3.3 and I have the simple-high notification sound. But you have to give me step-by-step instructions on how to pull it out because I'm not completely sure how. I already have adb set up on my PC though.

Don't know if you got the file already but here it is.

Thanks for your help!

I rooted and it made my Icon disappear. Are you sure this is not the case?
I got my icon back by booting into recovery and running the ?fix gui mismatches? or what ever that tool is. Took a long time, but when it was done and I rebooted, my icon was back.
BUT! The text under the icon is "com.core..."
anyone know how to fix that????

Sprint Touch Diamond 500, android - How the heck do I get ringtones to work?

I've tried searching but I must be using the wrong words.
I have everything running great in 2.2, got it working awesome in 2.1
Everything BUT the ring tones dont work! Ahhhh
Any solution out there for me?
Hey - i'll help out but the answer is in the forums, not sure where, but it is thats where i found it. The problem is that your Internal Storage has multiple partitions on it and you need to reformat it. There's a tool made by HP that i used to do this quite well. I'll look for the link and try and post it later. Android is looking at one of the other partitions on it for the media files.

[Q] Major problem after VooDoo Lag Fix

Hi guys,
I'm in real need of someone who can help me out, a friend at work asked me to give him my phone (we both have the same galaxy s I9000) because he had a lag fix for it that was really easy... ok i thought... he ran it and now the phone is really fast!! great I think! The then problems started.
When it boots up it shows a new screen that says vibrant (this isn't a vibrant phone its a aussie model i9000)the first sign that things were wrong, then the headphone detection wasn't working, and worst of all i can connect it to a usb or even a power charger without the phone turning off and the battery icon appearing then turning off again indefinably. ohh shiiiit!
I think he may have run the vibrant file not the correct one for the international i9000 i have, so i find the voodoo website and rerun the update with the correct one (used a removable sd card get the files from my pc to the phone) BUT still have the same problems I also tried the “disable lagfix” to roll back but no luck.
SO if anyone can tell me how to dig myself out of this ever deepening hole I will be hugely indebted to you...BIG TIME!!
Are you sure he didn't switch his phone with yours. The lagfix doesn't need a new rom.
From my pov.
He installed vibrant firmware, then installed Voodoo.
Browse flash guides. You still have boot.
flash a new firmware, 2.1 imo. is the best, add voodoo and/or oclf v1.
Must ofc have root priv.

Hi,harii_8, try this:http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/devices/knowledge_base.html/59242.
This will put your phone in Safe mode so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze/reset / run slow....
You can also try this code *#0*# and push speaker.
