Vibrant owner and really want to metamorph, where do I start?

I'm pretty familiar with flashing, installing roms, rooting etc. All of this metamorph stuff is like a different language. I really want to get a theme like this:

But I have no idea where to start. I see in that pic that the widgets like facebook and the calendar are black but transparent, how do you do that? It's possible to do this stuff without CM6 right? CM6 isn't out for the Vibrant just yet.

What widget/style is this?

I've seen many screenshots of Widgets similar to the one attached. I was curious as to which clock/weather widget this was. I have Beautiful Widgets and the MIUI WEATHER launcher, but neither can be made to look like this.
Any help is appreciated.

looks like MIUI rom, so its likely MIUI widget or fancy widget with MIUI skins

Anything particular? There are many weather widgets out there, like Beautiful widgets, Accu weather...check out the market.
This is beautifull widget but the clock skin is custom, nevertheless stock app looks fine.
