Hi,
I have a Samsung TV with AllShare(DLNA) functionality. I was reading that I can see on TV contacts, calendar etc from my Galaxy S using ScreenShare function. But I don't know how. In the TV User Manual is written "In Samsung mobile, ScreenShare must be installed and the supporting application must be executed; Then you can use the ScreenShare Function".
Can somebody help me?
Thanks,
BR,
Mircea
I have the same problem.
Samsungs User Manual talks about "ScreenShare", but there is no apk for mobile in the Android market or in the Samsung web page. Web searching, without solutions.
Fake advertising???
ScreenShare on Galaxy S
I’ve called Samsung and… Bla Bla Bla… no solution yet. So, fake advertising
yeah, samsung support from romania suck!
they said for android we must search on market for that application but on bada it is implemented.
Have you tried with the Allshare app that is pre-instaled on our SGS?

AllShare in SGS doesn't support screenshare, only DLNA (music, video, pics)
That sucks, i just spent 1000USD for TV which as they said in store will work.
Well, both TV and SGS have allshare sticker, but it seems these are different definition of ALLshare.
The rumour says that SGS II will support screen share ? well, hopefully this app can be used on SGS I.
hey i have the samsung galaxy s 2 and a samsung tv but cant see any screenshare options on this phone though, any ideas anybody?
Well, start Your TV, and AllShare -> ScreenShare function
Then in SGS II in AllShare look for ScrennShare function.
Samsung Support in Poland said, none of european phones can ScreenShare.
In US, they told me that US models of SGS do shere screen - and sent me to UK. cuz:
" we on live chat can only talk about mobile phones " to talk about TV connect with different division "
:: LOL and then should i have to open chat windows hahah

How were you able to get this to work?
Ive just today bought a P1010 wifi only galaxy tab after getting a price match sorted and a great price of £149 through Best buy and their new store opening.)
Ive already got a Galaxy S and have used this without any problems to connect that and display video content on the phone which is on my WHS2003 media server. Works a treat on this using allshare.
However, the app on the tab is different. I dont even get the option to add a username and password, which would be required to access the server.
Ive browsed a bit to find a solution, but no luck and have installed a couple of third party apps but still no good. I'm baffled why or how the galaxy S All Share is different to what it is on the tab.
I am basically wanting to access the media I have (thousands of films / TV shows / Music tracks) on my WHS2003 server and playback on my galaxy tab.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
If you are rooted on both devices you could try copying the Allshare apk from the Galaxy S to the Tab. I have found a few of the apps will work from one to the other. They should be in either the system\app or data\app folders.
Damn... I guess I'm going to have to wait a while before being able to do this! I dont have a USB connector for the phone at home - only a charger!
My phone is rooted - but not the tab as Ive only just got this today.
I used it to play some tvcatchup video - It was really pants! I hope it plays media better than that, else its not going to be with me for long and would be regarded as £150 down the pan!
I've been looking into WiFi drives recently (with a particular eye on the "HyperDrive CloudFTP" to make use of a couple of external hard drives). Are these supported by Windows Phone 8?
Has anyone tried one with a WP8 device (presumably the web-based support works at least)?

All WP7 devices had a UPnP/DLNA Client on Board so you will be able to access the data using that route. The Web App should work as well. Aside from that the device seems to support FTP and SMB as well. There are Apps on WP7 that allow accessing those although they will have to be updated for WP8 before you can use them to share data they retrieve from the WiFi-Drive in other Apps.
The system itself has no direct support for Windows Explorer like functionality.

The only dedicated app I've seen (so far) is the Western Digital "WD2Go" which only supports about 3 devices.
Presumably there are more generic DNLA apps.

The HTC one is called Connected Media. The Samsung one is called AllShare. I don't know at the moment what Nokia calls theirs but there is one as well.
Hi there
like the title of this thread,
i want an application wich allow me to Mirror my android phone screen to another android tablet or tv box
i search on the Play store but i don't find what i need.
so can anyone help me !!!
regards
Samsung devices can do this via SideSync. I went out of my way to get a phone and tablet so I could use the mirror/remote call/file transfer functionality. Recently LG copied this, so if you have an LG phone and tablet you may also be in luck.
You should probably check the list of devices that support the Chromecast, or consider MHL for output of your phone to a television via an adapter cable.
Sent from my Galaxy S5
After long search i think that it's not possible to mirror All the screen of the phone to another android device beacause
it's should be a protocol like ,DLNA or Miracast ... wich is possible with a dongle wifi display.
but i found two applications wich allow us to share content between devices:
1_ the first aplication is Screenshare:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.springdesign.screenshare.browser.server
2_The seconde application is EZcast screeen
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actionsmicro.ezcastrx
you can watch the video to know how it works
If both devices are rooted you can get full Chromecast functionality (well, mostly. a few things like Netflix don't and likely will never work) using the Cast receiver port that's on this board along with the Xposed module to disable the signature date check on the device that's sending the Cast, works for me.
Thank you but i don't understand very well
can you please explain what shoul i do step by step?
Regards
I can recommend to use my app Screen Stream Mirroring  , here is the free version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobzapp.screenstream.trial
I recommend it not only because I am the developer, but because the app was initially made for this.
You can use VLC for Android as receiver or any other RTSP player.
I will also release very soon a player for Android with good additional features.
Just ask if you have any question.
How it works?? there is no instructions!
please explain step by step what i should do?
Download allcast receiver to your tablet and allcast to your phone.
vnc method (root)
Try droid vnc server from the play store(this requires root access) on the device you want to mirror and get a vnc viewer on the device that you want to connect to the vnc server and this will mirror your screen
hi i owned galaxy note 3 phone and recently just bought galaxy tablet note 10.1.

search yueye and download two apps called limitless remote and limitless server. The server app will host a server so every devices on the same Lan can pair up with, but you need to root your server device or the display will be blank, the client device which is the controlling side do not require rooting. You can also download a limitless.zip from the original website to install it in any window os, you can even remote control your pc when you host a server there

If you have a quite recent Android version it should use hardware encoding so you should be able to stream any game... up to 60fps since Android 4.4.
You can check in app preferences if hardware encoding is enabled.

I was going to try your app, but the reviews on Playstore are dismal. Possibly the most negative reviews I've ever seen for an app. So I won't bother, because as in most apps, there are dozens more.
You really should consider trashing the app, fixing it (apparently you have an insane number of ads in the free version) and re-releasing it under a different title. Word of mouth, or in this case, thumbs is everything in the dev world.

I just tried the screenshare app on my Samsung Galaxy tab SM-T350 and a cheap little LGL15G. It works perfectly. I only tried it on my home wifi network, but it streams fast, installs easy and best of all, its free with NO ADS
use bubbleupnp

This works, thanks man!
Hey all,
I recently bought a Samsung UA40J5200 Full HD Smart TV.
I found out that the Samsung App Center doesn't support our local "Netflix-like" program (Cellcom-TV App).
Turns out you can install Cellcom TV only on LG Smart TVs.
You can install the Cellcom-TV on your mobile phone (its on Google Play)
However I understood that there is a way to transfer the app from your pc to the tv and install it there as a Samsung Programmer.
Have anyone had any experience with this kind of programming or made those adjustments?
Maybe can lead me to releavent guides?
Thanks in advance... Oren.
