Help Plz With Updating Wing

can anyone plz help me out on putting a better rom for my T-Mobile Wing i am tired of the same thing everyday ad i want to make it better so if anyone can plz help me through Email that would be easiest.

Just choose which Rom you're most interested in. I reccommend ITJE or ASERG's work.. their roms are fast and very stable.
Download the rom and follow the instructions, it's very simple and most people are very afraid of bricking their phone ... so just make sure you have the STOCK RUU http://www.mediafire.com/?2nq9iu0a2nt on hand and you'll be fine.

The thread that kidnamedAlbert linked to is a way for you to make your own ROM the simple way.

totally agree. im a wizard owner and the herald sub-forums suck. none of the information is consolidated very well if at all. and some of the info is old and then updated later in the thread instead of updating the first post. this sub-forum needs some help. ive been reading for 4hrs today, and read a bunch a couple weeks ago and am still unsure of things. there just is no definitive guide that goes over ALL the things you need to know and understand and then the things you may encounter and what to do if you do.

I've been using Open Touch roms since my first flash without a problem. Its very fast and reliable and my wing runs like it should. The T-mobile rom sucked and really frustrated me the first couple of weeks I had it. Another good thing with Open Touch is that you dont have to HardSPL your phone. See below. I'm pretty sure you'll find it easy enough if you read the first page of posts. Thats my recommendation.

hey, i just got a galaxy 5801 and wanted to get live wallpapers, i learnt that i need to root to be able to do that. will the galaxy s one click root work with mine.

You should search the forum - and for that matter, post in the right sections. This is Android Themes, does 'Rooting the Galaxy 5801" belong here? No, it doesn't. It belongs in the Galaxy Android Developement thread.

most helpful u ppl are. it's friggin obvious m new to android and this pertains to live wallpaper so it;s not for u to tell me where i post it. if u dont have anything useful to say dont say anything at all.

What does being new to android have anything to posting in the right section? Are you also new to the existence of life as well? You posted a question about how to root in the THEME section. Sounds like you're braindead to me, can't even search either. You should go now and post oh I don't know, a question in another language other than english.. in the english forums! Go go go!

like i said, i have posted it in hacking and development, and few other threads. not even one reply. and the one;s that i get is pretty useless. and speaking of brain dead, i asked for help and not another one of these useless replies which is of no help. so if it's anyone who is brain dead, it's you. i admit my fault, but u don;t have to be so friggin rude about. someone already suggested that i post in the right section. so if u cant help mind your own business.

Just download z4root from market and root.

Hi and welcome to xda!
First thing's first: Are you rooted yet? You will be limited in what you can do until you root.
Here is a step by step guide to rooting 2.1.
Here is the board with all of the Hero ROM's.
It may appear daunting at first, but it's fairly straight-forward and easy to do. Just follow the directions exactly. Also, I believe there is a one-click root app around here somewhere called Androot, I believe, but I'm not sure how well it works, as I didn't use it to root. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Am noticing about the "rooting" and "mods" threads are lots around here. Do i need to root for me to be able to install cracked apps? Thanks in advance! Would appreciate any help.

Get the phone and slowly you will get familiar to it.
I hope ur talking about the rooted apps here,that would be no problem once u get easy with the handset.
Piracy is not a good thing..developers put in a lot of time and effort in their work,respect it and pay for it.

Rooting n modding is not for Cr****. Rooting is to just get extra privilege on note, for making it more customise your device.
and note, such things(Cra**/Piracy) are banned over XDA

The phone's great as is. If you're a newb, like I was when I bought my Note (and probably still am), I'd recommend sticking with stock for a bit until you familiarize yourself with everything your phone can do.
I bought a Note when it released in the beginning of December and I still haven't rooted my phone. Although I'm a little conservative that way.
One thread you might really want to read is the Tips and Tricks thread.

There have many rom available for note. You have to read about each rom and flash it to feel the diffrent.

The OP is only telling a little bit of the story, which should read:
I messed up when I unlocked my bootloader the wrong way because I can't be bothered to read. Now that it's bust I again can't be bothered to read how to fix it.
I can't be bothered writing either so just help me.

I've also tried XperiaICE -JB ROM but still not working also ive tried everything but no use
i took some screenshots maybe that will help you to know whats wrong

Yeah that's what I call helping, since I basically told you where you went wrong since you can't be bothered explaining yourself.
You'l never fix it lol.. That I can promise you because you can't be bothered to read or explain FULLY what you did.

Okay try this options
1. try to go to setting find mobile network and choose network operators
next choose search network, and u can see all the sim operator that is valid in your country
or
2. don't forget to put in your sim card while flashing (Kernel + ROM) or Unlock BL
or
3. Read this dude!
