wife has nokia n800 that she likes.. the IT forum says that it can connect thru bluetooth phone to connect to internet but phone must be set to discoverable.. i have 2 questions
altho my phone will be here in cpl days, im trying to line things up in advance..
1 where is this option in phone?
2 if she is connect thru my bluetooth, can i still connect to internet?
and if so, is speed affected?

Is she going to be using the internet connection on your phone from hers via bluetooth? .. I'm not sure this is going to work but if it does, you should still be able to use the net connection on your phone.
hi guys..i have been having this problem which i did a search but could not find an ans..once in awhile,my phone will auto connect to the internet without me doing anything or activating..the connection is via gprs if i am correct as my wifi is not turn on...any one facing the same prob or is there anything i can do to stop it??

Hi.I have a little problem with my internet connection trough the wi-fi. I can connect the wi-fi to the free network without problem, but if I want to use the browser,it just write "web page is not available"...the similar problem is ,if I want to sing into my google acc. Please help me I can't do anything on this smartphone because I need to download the file explorer from market and than I can install some apps.

Im new with HTC phones, so Im not able to surf the web using IE, I have the wifi connected to a network, but IE tries to use the phone line which I dont have set up yet, I already read the tilt manual and didnt find anything. If you know how to use internet without using the phone line pls tell me, I will really appreciate it. Thks in advance. Regards,

I have an un-rooted Galaxy (Froyo) and want to transfer its SIM to my trusted Nokia to make calls (for simple reliability and convenience reasons). I want to still use the Galaxy to connect to the 3G network, internet, get mail, use apps etc and want to do this over Bluetooth between devices. I can’t find a solution via forums or an app and suspect it isn’t possible (hope I'm wrong!). I’ve paired the 2 devices and set the Nokia to allow remote SIM access but still can't load web pages or get emails on the Galaxy. Can transfer files OK.
Has anyone done something similar or know how I can get this setup working?
ie. Galaxy S GT- I9000 with no SIM, connecting to the internet via Optus 3G Nokia 6220c phone.
