Hi !
Is there a way to simulate the Nook's GPS position through Wifi location with Froyo installed (0.5.9) on SD card? Google Maps, Twitter official app, ... I'm (desperately) trying to get my location but fail: I thought this was supposed to work but apparently not Anyone to confirm, or not?
TIA!
does it works on rooted Eclair?
yes 2.1 gives location via wifi
broken in froyo.
Has anyone been unable to use their Citrix application since GB? It was working perfectly fine before I manually updated to Gingerbread.
Now I am getting a SSL error when I try to log into an application?
Anyone have any advice?
No advice that is helpful... but I know that Citrix on Android uses java's certificate store, and it is missing some root certificates typically found in other stores, which can cause SSL errors...
Just a Monday bump for this to see if anyone else is having this problem.
It seems to be working while on the company wifi. I guess the certificate is verified when on the secure wireless. When I'm on my own mobile data, I get no verification.
Same problem here. Been told you need to manually install the certificate on your phone. I will be trying this soon and let you know how it goes.
Edit: I think google actually reverted their certificate store in 2.3.3 to what was in 2.1. Most references to this issue indicate a server config change (cross-root) is required. Not sure if adding a cert on the phone will help, but I am still working through it.
Citrix released an update that addresses this. I updated and it works fine now for me.
Which update (for which Citrix product) was this problem fixed in?
Thanks!
I'm using Citrix Receiver v2.0.1063 and everything works fine, no problems at all.
Hello,
I would like to have autosynch enabled only when I'm on wifi. Is there any way/app which can do that?
Simple. Install DroidWall and do not include anything to the white list except apps that you need internet connection.
P/S: Droidwall needs root.
I have droidwall, but I use gmail on 3G. Therefore gmail is allowed to use both connections. I just don't want to autosync on 3G.
Tasker? Its a paid app though...
Hmm, it's like killing a fly with bazooka I thought maybe there is some neat and quick solution.
I'll concider tasker, eventually.
Looking for App that would use a certificate for sercure VPN access. Have attempted to use Junos Pulse but I don't seem to have the keys and ceritificate. Any suggestions?
Hi folks,
Hope in passing this in the right section.....
I have a z3 compact running stock lollipop. I've read that I should be able to access BBC iplayer when I'm abroad if I use vpn software.
I've tried a few, cyberghost and touchvpn, but when I set it use a UK based server iplayer fails to allow access to content.
Am I correct in thinking that using such software should work wherever I am add long as the location for the server is set to UK?
Any suggestions welcomed.
Thanks,
John
