As you have noticed the x2 lacks the sync.ico so we have the generic image on WMDC (like this)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So I create one, and wmdc looks better
Just copy the attached sync.ico you need in X2's windows directory then
connect the X2 to USB
remove the X2 from device manager (not from WMDC)
unplug and plug again the phone and let windows detect it again.
That's all.
Thanks a LOT. Would you mind making the same with the Silver???
Silver added.
With the Silver comes up, page is currently NOT available. Is the link dead?
As for the Black, done it yesterday and it WORKS GREAT. Finally we see our phones pic and not some crap default. SE could not even provide the ico for this one..... bad bad bad...
As soon as the Silver link works I will replace my ico. THANKS AGAIN, great work!!!!
Just checked the link is live and kicking...
I just tried again, same result: File not available. I attached pic!
Since its just a picture, perhaps you could attach it here instead???

Strange Megaupload behavior...
I mirrored both icons on multiupload, should be enough...
Ico extension are not allowed, I'm used to the txt files because I want to see the download numbers, so I don't link the files directly.
Thank you!
Thank you again! Now I have it!!! Great work!
for dummies)
all easier. In attach rar - sync.ico for silver and black X2. And ActiveSync.reg for register. Start ActiveSync.reg in Resco Registry (щк Similar), copy sonyericsson.ico & sync.ico to \Windows\ and reboot

In my spare time i whipped up a new splash screen (welcomehead.192.png) in CS4 for the HTC Fuze. Been doing photoshop for a while and thought i would put it to the test by making a nice splash screen for my and everyone else's Fuze. Planning to make a Touch Pro varient of the splash screen (that is, if people request it). If you like my work or are having problems installing, feel free to post your thoughts and comments.
UPDATE: HTC Fuze Splash Screen V2 (looks really nice )

Directions:
Download attachment, extract the file, and place it in the \Windows directory OR map the splashscreen to any part of your memory or storage card using Schap's Advanced Config.
NOTE: You may have trouble just dragging and dropping picture into the \windows directory because it is a system file so i suggest the second option if first fails.
That is awesome...could you do a Touch Pro Version?
One of the nicer splash screens I've seen in a while. Great job!
This isn't really a splash screen, based on the file type and file name, its a welcome head screen, the screen that shows after the splash screen.

I would like it too if anyone has it. An OEM version to cook into a ROM would be even better...
Look there...
Look in this thread (first post, under "HERE THE CABS"). It's from AthineOS and the rar contains some cabs...
also, after you download the cab you may want to read the whole thread before you install it on your kaiser

yup unlees its been changed it could lead to a hard reset!!! from what I read i've not tried it myself!!!
I can get the plugin to enable without freezing under the new hyperdragon rom, but nothing but a different background seems to show up, and in the 'today' settings it is called Titanium i believe. So nothing useable yet. Just wait a bit
Looking forward too didn't realize they used the chome config icons
The HTC Home works on PDA Corners Ulimate rom V17...but you can only scrolll using the hardware buttons. I stuck with the manila 2d that was cooked in. Super fast.
Well it will be nice when someone gets this working correctly. What ever happened to that web interface? Has that been leaked and cabbed yet?

hi,
i installed the cab but no success.the result is still the same.
have you installed the latest version of htc calculator? (download link at the and of the first post)
my skin it's in PNG, and probabilly your calculator still uses BMP image, then there are double files, and nothing changes
so, does this work for VGA too. your post indicates QVGA, but in your sig it says VGA/QVGA, so I'm kind of confused.

i'm waiting that someone send me the files inside the windows folder that are named name start with "calc".
possiblily, installing this version:
http://www.4shared.com/file/104780190/caa43a47/HTC_Calculator_VGA_Main.html
that uses the PNG files instead of BMP.
If you do this work, when you attach the zip, in 10/15 minutes, i'll upload the skin for VGA

Good job, thanks for sharing!
The light version is exactly the style of my welcomehead-picture - looking good together. And finally my phone can realize that I'm the MASTER, lol.
thanks for sharing

Both are beautiful works of art & very pleasing to the eye....
Thanks a lot for the christmas gift.....
Ok here is my dilema, I am trying to take this .apk (it's a clock):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/rkyy0n1tba6xleu/Mods/Sshick Animated
and change a few of the .pngs to make it a little more to my liking, I have red animated second hands and a background with the "Miui" erased. I opened it with 7zip and replaced the the .pngs with mine and everything seemed to go just fine. But when I try and install it on my phone it says "Installation failed" whereas the original ^ installed like a regular .apk through Astro just fine. The only way I could get it to install was by pushing it to system/app with RootExplorer, but I would like non-rooted people to be able to enjoy this.
So my question is, did I package it wrong or did I have to edit an .xml or something or what did I do that makes it not install like the original? Because I didn't think just swapping out some .pngs would cause that much of a change. And yes they were all named exactly the same as the original and I have no other versions of the clock installed at the time. Thanks in advance for any help that can be given.
This is what the clock looks like when it's finished (installed via RootExplorer):

I believe you need to sign it again. Search for Auto-Sign app.
You have to sign it. You can do it on your phone with Signapktic from Stericson on the Market. Or there's a bunch of ways to do it on your computer, the easiest being the Auto signer.
Wow thank you guys so much for the help, I knew it was something like that but didn't know how to fix it. Got it working though and it looks good and installs just like it's supposed to. Idk if it's your kind of thing, but I attached the apk so you can use it or test it out or whatever. Thanks again.
