I'm looking for a lock screen that is like a calender list, I used to have this on my iphone and really want this quick list again

best way I know is to get widgetLocker and get a calendar widget..
widgetLocker will probably be the best 2$ you'll spend.
As for the calendar widget there are dozens to choose from. I personally like Gemini Calendar as there are more options to set in the calendar in itself not to mention it has a variety of widget options from compact to large. etc. my 2c
Another vote for widget locker. I like pure calendar.

So, with widgets now in full swing, I thought I would find out from you folks, which widgets could you not live without????
Personally, I love the FML widget. I look at it several times a day. I love how its customizable to fit any theme! Im sure I would be VERY UPSET to lose this one!
I also love the Android and Me widget and the 10,000 things to know widget.
So what about you guys?
def the bbc news widget for me. (being british)
really hope to see a decent sms widget, facebook widget, and contacts widget - bit like the ones on the hero.
from hero i cant live without the messaging preview widget
that thing is the best
dont have to keep going into the app now to preview a message to know if i feel like responding or not...
it lags the phone a little but oh well...
Flipclock with weather from hero
I've never got the hype with widgets - they seem to kill my battery and tbh I can just click one icon on my homescreen for whichever app I like.
Really the only widgets I use are the retro clock/date, wifi on/off and brightness. That is in addition to the music and google in another window.

I'm with you on this one. Though it is good to see next appointment in your calendar on the home screen. So calendar is the only widget that I use.
Hey guys,
I'm using the Pure Calendar Widget right now but I'm not really a fan of the look. It just doesnt fit to the Sense UI.
The problem I'm having with the HTC Calendar Widget is this:
You can choose bewteen two looks. 1 is the whole month as a grid, the 2nd shows you your next appointment. I would love to use the 2nd, but being able to see all my appointments directly there listed without tapping on the widget and checking the overview. Is this easily doable?
Your right, there's not much out there for that with the HTC style theme...closest I could find was:
- Laik Agenda Widget
But that's not quite perfect either.
You coukd give pure Calendar more Skins.
I've Pure calender Widget installed and I'm using Dark grey with white outline.
Did you tried that?
Just noticed something I miss from my old phone. I only just noticed it because I haven't had any appointments until now. Is there a way to show your nest appointment prominently, such as on a homescreen or on the lock screen? I notice the lock screen shows calls/voicemail/sms, but not appointments.
+1
Is there any way to do this?

also want.
Still nothing as far as a lock screen, but after some googleing, I found that there are a few apps on the market that let you display this info on the homescreen as a widget. just search for the word "agenda" and a bunch will pop up. Right now I am using Agenda Widget because I can customize it to blend in with my clock. The other ones were functional, but kinda ugly.

for your home screen, use Smooth Calendar, so far the best free widget I tried yet!
Can show up to 3 appointments as far out as you want. Looks clean and simple also.

Try Executive Assistant. It is a little flaky yet (I am using the free version), it does the trick for the meetings and even has a little slide unlock deal instead of the standard android lock screen.
widget locker + pure calendar or launcherpro plus calendar
Another vote for Pure Calendar, the Pure widgets are skinnable so they can have the look you want, and Messenger, Calendar, and Weather Forecast they provide most of what I want on my homescreen.

have been using Pure Calendar widget since day it was released......also check Jorte
hi guys
i used to use launcherpro, but since the stock launcher on superaosp is amazing enough, i stopped using it
however the one thing i missed is the sense style calendar...
anyone got any alternatives?
i tried jorte and business calendar... both need to enter the program to edit the event which ... prefer it to launch into google calendar..
i also miss the simple switch between agenda and calendar....
anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks
Android agenda widget is a good one

Colorize widget is exactly what you are looking for. The free version is just like Sense. The paid version gives you some pretty cool theme support, but that is totally up to you.
Colorize Widget
Edit - Wait, I forgot that colorize only works on launchers with scroll widget support. Will not work on stock launcher.
Pure Calendar Grid is super awesome

I really like the widgets for an app called Business Calendar. It has all the functions of the original calendar but a bigger selection of widgets.
Colourize widget looks good but yeah no scrollable support.
What a shame
Prefer not to pay for a widget
I had use business calendar
I NP have niggling complaint that the transition from widget to calendar us not as smooth. I.e. you have to go into the calendar then add new event and so on. Whereas launcherpro one you gets straight to adding new event...
I'm just nit picking

no scroll
Stock GB launcher doesn't have widget scrolling. ADW or LPP allow for that. Unless of course the app includes arrows you can tap to scroll up or down
Pure Calendar (not Grid). Supports color schemes and scrolling.

Not unless the launcher supports it. This one does not

I've downloaded plenty of apps that had a 4x1 type of widget for notes, but I was curious if there was a 4x4 widget that allowed you to take notes from your homescreen?
Yes, if your running stock sense there's a widget it comes with that's 4*4. I didn't really like it but maybe you will, just go to widgets, and if you don't see it there go to get more widgets at the top and find the notes widget by HTC

Cozi lets you make to do lists, shopping lists etc but it's way more involved then just a note taker, and it's not free.
Personally I like the HTC Notes Widget. I've so used InkPad free from the market.
