If may I suggest: The clock leaves are very clean proably the best I´ve seen around), however looks for me that the gloss effect at the top is a little too big (imho)

tnx mhan. i was by inspired by those who are trying to make our devices have a wm7 feel of some sort.
about the clock, it's not the final though. and yes it sucks i just can't come up with an idea of a different clock which is far from the looks of the diamond clock. if you will look at the number "2" at the upper portion, its not yet clean. hehe... i hope anyone can give me any ideo about how the clock would look.

first suggestion: use a really clean font, eg Calibri (vista default font). Try a few different versions, one with more effects, one with less, one without any.
If you´ve got Photoshop, its really easy to play around with these things. If you haven´t got, I suggest you ask anyone in this forum to do this. Normally I´d suggested myself for this work but atm I´m too busy to do any additional (design-) work

The theme looks good.
There was some DLL file that was around before that I think might have allowed for repositioning of the tabs, but I can't remember. If that doesn't work, the actual HTC Home dll might have to be hacked on to make it default to tab 3.
When the fill image was modified, was it saved in the exact same format? Was it set for the same transparency?

Very promising theme, I'm definitely looking forward to this to come out. I like the home icon being in the center and i can see the idea of the clock resembling the diamond but it is still unique in my opinion

Again thanks to Tehseano and MoonsSpoon for their creativity and time to put this together. Tehseano has ok-ed me to port this theme to the JFv1.51 CRB43-US rom. I haven't yet finished porting the whole theme over. It's still missing the White clock mod from Stericson. And the Hero lockscreen and its modifications. I hope that you guys appreciate what is finished at the moment.

Awesome work yet again, man! I just flashed this without wiping and everything you ported seems to work great so far, I even uninstalled Open Home finally. Once you completely finish this port, I'll flash to that too!

No offense, perhaps you're young.... but before making statements like "we know better", you should read up a little bit on the English language. In addition, if your state "knew better", you wouldn't be bankrupt.

Nice theme, easily flashed in seconds, really saved me the trouble of flashing to hero rom with rosie interface... maybe next update willl include the htc widgets because those are also very nice. Thanks again for this.

the themes looks great except the fact it is missing the clock in the status bar other then that it seems to be flawless

i think the white clock edits and the lockscreen edits are still being worked out for CRB43... probably why this theme wasnt ported over yet...

I don't think a final is coming anytime soon, because they are still updating the original Hero theme. It's your choice to wait though. Lol

[Concept] UniverseUI //Make it happen!

Hello I've been creating a concept UI which will essentially be powered by a complete home replacement, I believed this is the answer because the original launcher doesn't exactly give us the power we need to run the User Interface I've designed. UniverseUI is all about simplicity yet structured in a beautiful refined interface which allows you to access the most important parts of your phone with the slightest ease of touch. Accessing what's important to you and make the phone you live become even better will surely make you more happy.

I am really feeling the concept and my thoughts on this is that your one of the people that think that roms should go beyond themes and build a whole new UI and I am also one that rather see new UI's to make each device customizable to fit the users style.

LOL! Same thing here, all I see is a wallpaper and some over the top texts next to it.
But okay: the wallpaper is nice. It ain't a theme though.

i like it, simple and elegant. think you need some more work on the concept befor you can turn it into a theme, but i like what you have got so far, good luck with further development

the concept is nice

One problem I experience while working with a lot of transparent image on the g1 is failing rendering... so it would be very nice, but I see a lot of problems coming your way.

The Concept is unfinished and I've wrote that on the first post, your phone represents you as a person, the way you customize it and the way you use your phone is something that shows user preference. I posted the UI concept early to show how the development process is launched, and give you a more personal side to the development scheme in the future. There isn't a lot to see but you should clearly grasp how the future of the project should be expanded to.

As it is now it reminds me of a winmo theme. I think there might even be a facade theme running around that has a similar feel to it.
As an android ui i think it has potential to be amazing since as far as i can see development on android, atleast in terms of a homescreen/ui seems to be more open.. if not untapped. I would love to see the psd of this one, maybe making it in to a community theme could make this one really pop?

At this stage I don't think I'm going to release a PSD or any sort in the future. The aim of the concept is to make it look luxurious and clean, and I hope the future revisions will give a better understanding on the concept I'm going for.
The revision 003, has heavily inspired Winpos 7 UI ''Metro'' yet I liked the ease and simple application scroll from it so I wanted to add something similar yet tweaked for my concept. Each box should have an Icon that resembles the box but I didn't finish them. Here is the 2nd screen being revealed, the next revision will probably explain a little more about the concept and it's unique application database and a small rehaul of the 1st screen.

Look into building themes for SweeterHome. Almost all of the features in your concept can only be done with a home replacement.

ok I am starting a LCARS theme for villain and would like some people to help me, I have done a test dialer to see how it looks and I think its got legs...
I want to do the whole phone and I mean everything, this could be the most complete theme yet.....

i luv the idea, but just wish it was easier to change the UI so that animations would be resemble that of LCARS, similar to pocket LCARS on wisbar by neil strawbridge.

If this theme is good (not overly bright and true to the canon) then I will pay for it. I like LCARS interfaces but I have yet to find one on any platform that does Star Trek justice.

I'm not charging for any of my work just trying to do it for love....
But I am trying to get a few people to help out, at this rate, it will be a whole rom, instead of a theme! but slowly slowly.
I'm using a sample off of LCARS for the colours, which can be changed quite easy... just trying to get the feel together first.
What I really need is a really good Swiss911 font, finding it difficult to find, emailed the guy who did the winmo one and hopefully get some help off of him.
I'm hoping to get some more dev time later in the week to really start work, I also have some people who are making widgets and I have started on 15 of them.... just really need to know what bases people are using, I think it will have to be sense, and not ASOP sorry, will try to port at a later date.

It was looking like it was coming together.

as far as I'm aware, he doesn't have a Hero anymore... and there has been no update on VR forums, I've seen. As before, most people find the standard launcher style very difficult to re style into LCARS. While I do not use this anymore, I found the best way to get the desired effect was using SweeterHome. However the app is in Beta (downloadable from website) and has been for quite a long time - thats not to say it hasn't been updated several times tho.... The Market version is really old too.

Theme is based around the Tolken icon's (http://brsev.deviantart.com/art/Token-128429570) with elements from Ubuntu 10.04 and other Linux themes.

Its just a mockup at the moment, but a few people have contacted me and ive sent them the alpha psd design, so an alpha release should be along soon. Few more elements to skin, couple of widgets and apps then its nearly all done.

That is damn sexy concept or not, I eagerly await an update

Thanks, i hope to learn a little about creating themes, so i can hopefully create a few more

this is probably the best theme i have seen in a while. obviously gives off the iphone feel, but that's what iphone has down (their UI design), which is why many people love iphones despite us all loving android. android stock is as ugly as a UI design as it gets, which is why we have themes. i hope you really are able to accomplish this 100% to your psd look because it really looks solid. the only thing i know that you will definitely have trouble in because no one, and i repeat no one including myself and other themers, is making those notification TABS (where you see your latest events/information) transparent as in your mock up. i am sure that the tmobile header can be made transparent because i have seen it done before, but the tabs are always the issue. there's some coding in the xml or something that does not allow it or may some hidden .9 png that we are unaware of. good luck

As always, you are creating an excellent theme.
Are you planning to make it metamorph? Or will it be based on CM5.0.8 (when it becomes final.) Hopefully one the 2.2 code drops, you can make this CM6 compatible as well.

This is the sexiest theme that I've seen so far. It's just so... sleek and beautiful. I must have.
