Deleted vending.apk

Hey guys i feel like an idiot...i misclicked when i was deleting the att bloatware (froyo ji6) through root explorer. Guess what...my market(vending.apk) is now kaput. I searched around here and on google but cant seem to get it back. Am i really going to need to wipe? :/ or can someone upload theirs from a JI6 build?

[Q] Helpppp!?

I want to install this mod[MetaMorph/CWM Flashable][Update 11/15/10]Minimalistic Mod / Minimalistic White v1.7 but i have no clue how to im a newb.

Are you rooted?
If the answer is yes it Is easy. If no move on

Post your specs. so we know what you are working with. Things like Rom, Kernel etc. This makes a huge difference bc if you flash the wrong one, you will have a $200 paper weight and will need instructions on how to fix that too!! Go ahead and install Rom manager if you haven't already too; You will need that. The free version is fine but the paid version supports the dev which you should do.

To add to this you can use the metamorph app depending on what build you are on. I am currently using aspects of this mod with from the darkness theme. I am on the latest cognition. I not certain that it will work with a i900 rom
If all this is greek to you I suggest reading some more until you are sday little more familiar with sday is out there

My instinct is to say do not do it. I am not certain. Post your question and current rom on the thread for the theme the op is usually responsive

I like it but it its all a mater of preferences. Easy to use, and install.not as risky as some. I have never used the rom you are on so I can not compare

Pull the vending apk from the rom zip and put it back in system/apps and then reboot

[Q] need alittle help...

i have a captivate sgh-I897,2.2 firmware kernel 2.6.32.9 froyo build.
i have rooted my phone my problem is that when i find another rom to download it will dwwnld. fine but will not install i don't know if im not doing something i should or what would appreciate any help with this.

I'm using the sgs app locate roms download then move to ex.SD. card then install from there and i do the backup when asked from there it reboots and nothing? ???

Go to mobiletechvideos.com there is a three part video on how to install a rom, what you are doing is completely wrong ... Before you do the steps in the video you're gonna have to do the fix I posted earlier.
Sorry for being a little rude earlier. I just assumed that was your issue cause that's all I've seen this week for some reason.

why are you moving roms to your external sd? you need to flash from the internal sd

Im new at this I was told to download then move to ex.sd card them install

External sd is not mounted in cwm. You need to use internal

It's all in the videos, just make sure you mod the 3e recovery first or you will get a signing error and the install will fail.

Ok does it say how to mod 3e rec. I'm not sure how to do that

I've taken the liberty of zipping up the Stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 Launcher and files necessary to fix the 3D app drawer icon quality...

This is the Nexus S Launcher... Pulled it from GRJ22. Will update OP later with details and such. Busy with another project ATM.

So I take it this is for GB builds only? I tried flashing it on EC05 only to be stuck on a bootloop. I restored my backup and I'm gna re-download the file n flash just to verify

yes just flash it through ClockWork, no wipes or anything

I have only been running this a very short time, but I gotta say it is buttery smooth and very simple. The 3D effect is cool. I wish it was a bit more customizable, with themes and such, but I am going to keep using it. The memory foot print is very small.

I'm on the latest nighlty, flashed trough CWM and got a bootloop.
Thoughts?
