Enable DIAG mode - Legend Android Development

Does anyone know how can i enable DIAG mode on my HTC Legend?
I mean the Qualcomm diagnostic port.
In Windows mobile devices it's ##3424#
The option *#*#3424#*#* gives only some functional tests screen, so it's not the same code for sure.
Thanks.

do u mean *#*#info#*#* ??

Well, almost.
This shows only info, but i need to activate the diagnostic monitor for QXDM (simple tool from qualcomm to interact with it's CPUs)
Maybe you know any other codes?
Thanks

[Q] [REQ] Call ignore App

Hi,
Sometimes i don't feel like picking up the phone while at work, so if i keep disconnecting the phone of the people calling me at that time.
So, my question to you is can there be some application or changes in settings which can enable my phone to deliver/give some messages like " The line cannot be connected" or something like that and at the same time i get to knw the details of the person trying to connect. is that possible? If yes, i would be highly grateful.
Aiplane mode maybe?? But you will not get the details of those who called you

I want something similar to an answering machine system , just like the operators notify you when a phone is busy or switched off.
If you have it in airplane mode for those who Call you is just like you have it switched off, so it will tell them that is switched off
Edit:I don't know any app, sorry, maybe someone else..

htc one android beam

does the htc one support android beam because when im looking for it in settings i cant see the option just nfc
It does..used it to beam to my gf gnex that she has inherited..you need to adjust the phones slightly tho as the nfc chip are not in same spot..could be the same with other phones

ok so there is no option to turn android beam on you just turn nfc on and good to go?
Doesn't seem to work on samsung devices? Tried to send some files over and it didn't work, tried over wifi direct and still didn't work.
Maybe i'm missing something.

I'm pretty sure samsung uses s-beam which is wifi direct and not bluetooth. (Someone correct me of its the other way around.)
So if you wanna beam to a samsung device turn off s-beam and keep nfc on.

what about wifi direct all of the info i can find online about this and android beam are showing that you can turn them on in settings, is this an update for 4.2.2
Samsungs s-beam uses it. Not normal android beam.

HTC one sharing photo with s4 via nfc

How does nfc work? My mates got. S4 and tried to send me a photo but it just sends me to a dead play store link.
Any tips on how to work with any device?

did you make it work? I tried the same thing but all I heard is the sound twice but nothing. Somewhere I read, you need to have the Bluetooth on but didn't help...

I use "send!" from the app store which uses nfc to make a wireless connection so you have much better speed. But if you want to use pure nfc just install "Android Beam" and you can send things through nfc to others even if they don't have the app. Under share it will pop up with the app that allows you to send it.

Doh, I guess android beam is now baked in so just let the devices connect and it will auto share the content, as I said I use send!. Here's the official tutorial https://support.htc.com/en-uk/005-HTC_One/0G0/040
The s4 has to have s-beam off and nfc on then it'll work.

Oh ok. I tried that but the option isn't there. It has all the other data there but doesn't give me the option to change bands. I think maybe I need a hidden menu apk from another lg? Thanks though

Hey man ive finally find the solution but first your device must be rooted so as to access the buold.prop file. To enable network selection mode edit build prop using root explorer change the following line from ATT to OPEN root is required for this.
Chek the photo to know to line. That's all enjoy dude

What's the purpose of enabling preferred network? Should I do this? I have a D950.
I just tried this now. I am here in Florida with Cricket wireless and service has been spotty. I think the mod stops priority of the LTE and allows for other speeds to function. Stopped getting spotty LTE and now 4g but at higher bars.

hello,
Thanks for ur trick..
It works..
But I am facing some issues with it.
1. I cant type OPEN. it shows only 3 digits "OPE"
2. Changing this changes sms list view to go invisible/ white .in list view it shows nothing.o nce i open sms thread then i can see sms
3. Changing this disables hidden menu.
I really dont know why this happening. But i have confirmed this by doing/undo changes many times.,.. but is it because of issue no 1?
I made the change in the build prop file, gow do i select carrier now?

same here on D950
only 3 digit allowed ... OPE
Just Put OPE and save Build prop..reboot phone and you will be able to have choice of 2g 3g lte.
