Go to settings--Sound and Display--Haptic feedback is checked--click Vibration intensity and see if it is set to low. If all of these are set and it dosen't work, try a reboot.
Haptic is checked and set to maximum. Reboots have not helped. Its crazy.

If you are within your 30 day return period flash back to stock using Odin and return it, they won't ask questions at AT&T they don't even check what's in the phone, I've swapped out 2 so far. Crazy yes it is.

In the morning, after 6-8 hours of idle, when I press power button or home key it has a delay of 5-6 seconds before screen turns on... And if someone call me screen stay black and I have to press power button to turn screen on to see who is calling me. How to fix this?
Are you using an app like SetCPU to underclock the CPU while the phone is idle or when the screen is off? I did that and found that the phone would hang while waking up or while answering a call while the screen was off.
To even help u at all, u need to tell us what firmware u have installed, an apps u have that adjust apn, battery saving, cpu adjusting etc.
I only ever had the problem u describe wheb i was using Eclair.

Currently I am on Darky's 9.3 rom(on 9.2 was same problem),but I think I had same problem with stock but I am not sure... Have no battery saving no setcpu apps, but I just tried SetCPU but after that I changed at least 7-8 firmwares so it should not effect. And that is not happening if phone is 1 hour in idle(screen off) only 6-7 hours(over night)
Not sure if u are still waiting for an answer.
Point 1. You are using a custom rom, take ur questions to the darky forum thread.
Point 2. If u want no lag, use a stock 2.2.1 like js7.

Anyway, problem solved.

Hi all!
I'm on simply honey. 5 and having a really annoying problem.
When I get a call, the answering bar keeps moving around when I turn the phone around.
Is there a way in disabling that without disabling it in the entire system?

Not that i know of, just dont turn the phone when you get a call.
I think u should find anyother dialer and flash it

Has anyone else heard of this problem? Sometimes when I receive a text message the phone will receive the message and start vibrating, at which point the screen goes black and all buttons become unresponsive. The phone will continue to vibrate for about ten seconds before rebooting. It doesn't do it every time, and it only does it for text messages, and only when the phone is set to vibrate upon receiving a text message.
I'm running GingerVolt 1.3 and had the same issue on 1.2 and 1.1. I am not sure if it did the same thing on the stock rom. I have wiped data/factory reset and that does not seem to fix it. I am also using Handcent SMS, if that could have anything to do with it.
Any information about this is greatly appreciated!
I have had it happen once that was on gingervolt 1.2 also on vibrate mode and also using handcent.

Never had it happen on Revolt or Gingervolt. Using the stock messaging app.

I've had it happen a couple times recently. Once yesterday and once this morning. Both times I was in Vibrate Only mode. I was not receiving texts at the time, but it could have been triggered by email alerts or phone calls. I noticed the phone buzzing for ten seconds, the screen was unresposive and the LED indicator was blue. Then it showed the LG screen with a small buzz and loads up fine.
I had it happen when using Exchange once - The phone was hot to begin with, so I knew something was wrong. I received the Exchange e-mail notification, pulled down the notification bar, clicked and bam - reboot.
I'm glad to hear it's not just me. This has been happening since I got my Revo, on both my original and warranty replacement.
I've never used stock long enough to know if it occurred on any of them.
But for me the phone doesn't reboot after 10 seconds, it just keeps vibrating like a prank sex toy from hell until I remove the battery.

Same here. I'm not even sure if I'm in vibrate mode only or not, but it does freak me out a bit when it happens and have to peel off the case to get to the battery, I'm always afraid its going to go all Mission Impossible on me and blow up!
See if the same behavior is observed when vibrate is turned off. There could be an issue with your haptic engine causing it to crash and this would help narrow it down.
Only happens on vibration for me, also. But I have it on vibrate ~90% of the time so I don't know if this qualifies as proof to that fact

It has never happened to me when the phone was set to not vibrate. I did a test and set it to not vibrate only when I received a text. It seemed to have no problems until I got an email yesterday and bam. Reboot.

Well I've been running gingervolt on my phone and it has been running fine until now. Today my softkeys won't light up anymore unless I go to settings and click on the screen brightness that's when they come on but once it times out and goes black they won't come back on when I unlock it. Also when I received a call and slide the screen up for some reason I can't hear anything and the phone hangs up. Does anyone know what can I do to fix this issue? Thanks. Version 2.3.4 running gingervolt 1.3

This happened to me the first night gv 1.3 was released. It went away the next day though. Re-flash?
Ok. I will reflash and hopefully that would fix it

This will sound weird but what I do when this happens (usually a restart of device) is bring the phone's screen to my laptop screen momentarily, or just hit it with a beam of light from my 700 lumen flashlight It's quick and easy

haha, very MacGyver...Going into Settings > Display and toggling auto brightness on/off would probably accomplish the same thing.

With everything that you've tried, it's starting to sound like it might be a hardware issue. If that's the case, you might have to send it in to get it fixed.
So should i restore to stock and see if that fixes the problem? I guess either way I need to restore to stock if I need to send it off to get fixed right?

Couldn't hurt. I would do it if nothing else has worked.
