Hey guys.
I have just recently flashed to the CSDI V4 rom and I only have 1 problem with it. The keyboards symbols are all mixed up as they have spanish characters etc. Is there a way to put the standard UK G1 keyboard typeset back on the phone?

I am currently running cy's 4.0.1 rom, and I hate this keyboard on it. Is there a way to get the white keyboard like on hero roms.

this helped me get a new one but where is the white one like the one for the hero roms? lol thanks for this tho it helps me out alot more lol

Hey Guys. I need help.
I am using Darchdroid 2.7 and everthing is AMAZING!
Everything but the keyboard
I am glad there's finally a Voice Input option, but the keyboard looks horribe. And I know it isn't supposed to be like that because the old one doesn't.
See attachments for examples. The first two are the ones with voice from Darch's Google ****s and the last is the original eclair keyboard. As you can see, the sidebars and the bottom strip are weird.
I told Darch, and he asked me to get someone to fix it (unfortunately, I can't cause I dont know how)!
Please anyone. Thanks in advance.

just download and use the htc keyboard! i find it much better

look for the htc ime xda mod keyboard, search for it on the forums and you shouldnt experience any lag with it

Try to use "better keyboard" app, its free from market i think....
For me its faaaar the best keyboard on android device-the wibe on stock desire hd is too long and has no option of reducing it,and the letters are just too small

are you meaning the one that has qwerty, phone keypad and a couple other keyboards???? if you are its HTC IME MOD and you can google it works wonders i would post it but i don't wanna get in to any trouble.....

As I said, I know this keyboard but it's the old one. If I remember right, it doesn't have the arrows, and when you press space and it puts another word instead of the one you typed, then you go back, it won't show the word you first typed. I don't know if you get what I mean, my English isn't that good and even in French it would be difficult for me to say it.
Ok, I guess there is no way! I'd love to know why : )

You're right about the cursor keys (arrow keys) not being there, but the keyboard I linked does show the word you typed, and not the one it replaced it with when you pressed space. Okay, it's not perfect, but it's 50% which is better than 0%
And it's not your English that's not good. That is a hard concept to explain, but I knew what you meant.
I'm just curious, why does the SGS3 Sammy keyboard have the chinese input but the SGN1 doesnt?
I'm really pissed by this and other keyboards just mess up after awhile. and sadly swype does support Chinese.
Is there anyway to solve this? Language pack? taking the rip from SGS3? [No downloading of other keyboards thanks]
I've tried swype, perfect, thumb, slideit, touchpal <- best so far but can't edit user dictionary.
Also, does anyone's SGN1 sammy keyboard have chinese? If I remember correctly (faintly), before ICS, my note had chinese support in GB for the same keyboard?!

did you try a stock Rom from sammobile for your area (may Hongkong 4.x ICS Roms) and check the native support for chinese all over in the Rom?
If you use Custom Roms from other countries you'll never get full support.
I have this "problem" (not a real one) with Thai support. It's a question of "shakesperean dimension": Thai or not to Thai?
If I want it I switch back to Thai Stock Roms.
Hello Danny here with a z3compact stock serial lightly moded running nova launcer android 601 no animations set in dev options, from croatia europe, trying to set the phone on plain english and the only options are english uk english usa english germany english china . etc... I am wondering will the phone think im there ( in one of the languages aplied) or not,??
I would love tho know how to post a pocture or screenshot in here and i love xda thank you all, danny

Any English setting is fine, the list in the language setup are nothing to do with your location, it's how the keyboard is laid out.
