hey developers, are there any custom dialers out there that the speaker phone comes on when laid face down like the stock dialers, or is there a program that I can make my own? thanks

Hello everyone, after spending looooooooong time sesarching only to find several people have the same issue as me, i am looking for an application that makes one of my fav apps run in vga? i am installing it and the buttons and layout is all messed up, currently using energy rom, had same problem on elite rom, and on lantisos rom, only ones that worked was stock rom and romeos 1.40

some of the very good and fast roms out here use dialers that won't work correctly in landscape mode. Before the usual suspects start screaming (who needs a landscape dialer?), well I need one, and I guess a lot of other people as well.
Are there any fully compatible dialers out there, that can be installed on the 3rd party roms?

I might get some abuse for this request, but maybe somebody is willing to to do it and I believe that lots of people would probably be looking for something like this.
I am looking for a custom rom, and yes...I am willing to pay for the work done, so if anyone is interested, please contact me via PM.
What I am looking for:
Normal windows 6.1 Base
Manila Interface
Only basic programs preinstalled..things that are really needed such as Opera, PCPimpbackup etc.
So far so good...now comes the tricky part:
I would love the manila to have the same skin as Itjes used in his 5.0x roms, with the sounds, and skins, and background etc. Ergo: black on black, no green.
Rom would have to be stable, bluetooth etc would have to continue working. Noticed some that I didn't like in itjes rom, such as the fact as when I was listening to internet radio, and the screen turned off to save power, the connection to the internet radio was lost.
And last but not least: the rom would have to be complete in german.
As I said, I just don't have the knowledge to cook a rom the way that I would like to have it. (Yeah yeah, call me too lazy to learn)
So..lets see if anyone is interested in the job

I'd really appreciate your advice on whether it is possible to find/make a cab (or just copy some files) of the dialer that the Topaz or the Rhodium have to make it work on official 1.56 WWE ROM (I don't care about the conference call button, I care about the buttons in the call log (to avoid the default Blackstone sliding left/right in order to list all available phone numbers of a contact)).

searching for the same to compliment onoklog 6.5 rom. found a few which dont work, will let you know
I have done quite a lot of experimenting and I'm quite sure that the new dialers require newer OS builds (21xxx). So making them work on stock ROMs is just not possible. Or, to be precise, they will work but some features like the call log buttons will be missing. The attempts to port the dialer to VGA confirm my finding.

I will have to find a suitable custom ROM then... Oh, I hate flashing and re-installing stuff...
Often when my phone rings (its usually in my pocket) i accidentally reject or answer the call (because the touch screen is so sensitive)

You can flash a cooked ROM with the newer TACHI dialer installed. This has 'Slide to Answer' feature so that would cure your problem. Or, if you're not into flashing, try this. It's the best screen locker on the planet (just my opinion), but best of all, it's free

oh thankyou, thank you .... I was on the point of binning my Ignito because of the stupid stupid case that answers sms and incoming calls. This app seems to work. Did I say thank you
