There has to be a way to sync with bluetooth of the desktop dock without you being on the dock. I want to play music on my phone to speakers attached to the dock while I'm out and about. There has to be a way. When I dc my phone real quick from dock, music is still playing through bluetooth for a few second s before it dc.
Any luck any one?

Pair and connect your phone to the dock without it being docked. Your bluetooth should connect and let you play audio through it then.

That's handy to know.
I have 2 TVs at home with HDMI. The sound works with one but the other I just get Video for some reason
Is it possible to do something like this;
HDMI Video only to my TV
Bluetooth Audio to my Music System / Headphones / Computer speakers
Has any one tried this ?
Can try when I get home from work if nobody has tried it before then.
EDIT: That worked just fine on stock. Should a video on youtube on the TV via HDMI and the sound to my music system via Bluetooth and the Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver
I'm stock froyo, unrooted using samsung captivate car dock.
Is there a way to get call audio or google navigation prompts to output via the dock 3.5mm jack?
Currently it seems all I get is music player and notification sounds. Everything else goes to phone speaker.

Hello
I recently bought the car dock for the Note. Bluetooth audio via ad2p work with my car stereo, but as soon as i put the phone in the dock, it doesn't. The audio defaults trough the line out of the dock witch i dont use. Anyone got a sulotion for this?
Reason you are unable to use is that the mobile gives more priority to the dock compared to your car stereo connection over BT (Physical connection over wireless connection, even your computer also does the same)
I would suggest you to plug a 3.5 mm audio cable form the dock to your car stereo so you still get what you want.
The reason i want to use BT audio is cause i can use the wheel to controll the phone. Can't do this trough line in/out.
You can simply change the automatic activation of voice command via Android settings / docking.

I bought new car radio Pioneer. It has bluetooth so I tried to play music with my sgs with AOSP 4.2.1 pawitp ROM. It connect with no problem and plays. But it brakes music for about half a second. Yust enough to notice and to get annoyed with it. It seems to play fine if I connect in aux. Don't know if that's normal or what could be the problem. Bluetooth can't deliver so much data and brakes or what?

So I know that the galaxy gear connects to the galaxy phone via Bluetooth, and you can control music playback (probably only through the stock Samsung app)...But what if one has Bluetooth headphones...
Are you limited to one Bluetooth connection?

I would also like to know this
Not a galaxy owner but for my HTC One at least I can connect to multiple Bluetooth devices at once. For example, the phone auto connects to my car stereo to make/receive phone calls but at the same time I am tethering my iPod touch by Bluetooth to the phone to use music streaming. I would think the phone link is similar to audio link. So perhaps android in general doesn't limit connections to one at a time?

I listen to music at work all day via my BT headset, and I use media controls on my Gear for choosing songs, changing volume, etc.
So yes, it works, and without any issues IME.
