[Q] Is there a way to set a home page on the browser?

How can I set a homepage on the default browser? Also, can I bookmark pages?
to set the homepage open the browser then press the menu key and go to more then settings. theres an option there to set it. theres an option for adding a bookmark on the more section as well. you can also just click on that little icon with the star next to it on the address bar.
Just saw this post, If while in browser goto menu>more>add bookmark and check the add to hompage box, it supposed to work, but on my GF's, it does not. I posted if anyone else has this problem or has a fix

Email Button??

I there a way to remove or change email button on the bottom row of the Captivate. My phone is stock at the moment. If this question has been answered can you point me to the link? I did a search but could not find the answer. Will I need to root my phone?
I only use Gmail and am using the Gmail app that came with the phone.

Haven't been stock in a long time so giving this to you from memory. Go to your app drawer and hit your menu key (bottom row far left) and you should have an option to edit. In edit mode you can make changes to what is shown on your dock by dragging and dropping icons.
Edit: no root needed
What is the "app drawer"? The only option I see is to move home screens around if I hit edit from the home screen. I want to change the email button on the bottom of the phone.
Thanks!

The only option I have on the app page is, "View Type". Is there a way to change to email button to the Gmail app button?

hit the icon on the far left which should be labeled applications if I remember correctly. Square with lines through it or something like that and when you press it all the applications installed on your phone will come up.
Thanks! That worked!

Now I remember. When you get the "view type" option hit "customizable grid" then hit your menu key and you will see the option to edit.

Softkeys Navbar

i am having a problem with the softkeys navbar.
what i remember, there were supposed to be another button where i pointed with an arrow on the screenshot i have added.
i tried to search on the forums but coud not find anything
how am i supposed to get that button back
i cant enter the settings of some of my apps like Facebook without that button ?
i am running rooted stock rom
android ver. 4.2.2
build number: 10.3.1.A.2.67
The menu soft key is only displayed when required by an app. It is not displayed on the homescreen or in apps that do not need it.
To access Facebook's settings, pull the drawer out from the left and scroll down to find the settings.

Those are simply empty folders that can be deleted by selecting the drop down menu (3 vertical dots top right of screen) then edit. Hold the folder and drag to remove.
