Hi guys.

Why don't use iSyncr? Import your ipod playlist to Itunes on your PC or laptop then use iSyncr to sync it to Galaxy S... New version of iSyncr support Galaxy S default player,so just spend few bucks to buy it from market, work like a charm for me..cheers
if you have a pc...
use windows media player:
1. connect in media player mode
2. open windows media player
3. on the left section on wmp, locate yout device
4. right click > set up sync (name device blah blah)
5. right click > set up sync again, and now you can pick w/c playlists you want to sync automatically
after you are done, wmp will sync the playlists to your galaxy, and the music player will have those playlists on your phone too.
every time you make changes to the playlist, just connect pack you phone and wmp will auto sync those changes.
if you want to modify the quality of synced audio, do right click > properties > quality and select a maximum quality level.
note: wmp will sync videos too.
i said this in another post too..and again here , if it helps
Is scrobbling enabled for last.fm? try disabling it as see if the sluttering goes away. It did in my case . so I stopped doing 'real-time' scrobbling

Here's how to make SRS WOW HD work with the Touchflo music tab player --- with working volume buttons and album art.
(These instructions are on win xp with WMP 11. if you have vista, its probably similar).
Use WMP on your desktop to sync music to your device using the following method. (You will have probably have to delete all of your music from your device and add it back from scratch).
1) Connect your device to your computer using activesync and then open up WMP on your computer. In WMP on your desktop, right click on the icon representing your storage card (or your device) that is located on the left hand side of the interface. (the one you want to store the music on).
2) Click on advanced options and then choose the quality tab.
3) Under music, click the radio button "select maximum quality level" and drag the slider to 160 Kbps. (this is one notch below the maximum quality available). Click apply and OK.
4) Then Sync your music to your card/device using the WMP device tab.
Now, SRS WOW should work and your volume buttons should work too!
However, now you might be missing some album art.
To fix the album art problem, stay connected to activesync.
5) Go to the folder on your desktop computer where the album is located. Use activesync file explorer to go to the matching album folder on your device.
6) In the desktop album folder, locate the file named "folder" or "folder.jpg." Thats the album art. Copy that file to the corresponding folder on your device.
7) Once you soft reset, the album art will appear in TF3d. (it might take a few minutes).
Thats all there is to it. Kind of a PIA but it works.

Now for a question . . . .
Can someone tell me how to change the audio booster menu item located in the TF3d music player to read and direct to SRS WOW HD???? That would be pretty cool. Here's a shot of the menu item I am talking about:
Nice find.... This will help me stick with the new TP2 Manilla, as the SRS Wow volume issue is a major bummer. SRS is too nice to not use in the car....
Too bad I don't have WMP 11...
Unfortunatelly doesn´t work for me - I´m using vista.. volume control doesn´t work
I thought that when it works on Raphael it could also on Diamond..
Figured I'd post this here, these were my two main issues with Gmote not being able to do.
First of all get Gmote 2.0 off the market or from the website, grab the server client while you're there and follow the directions to install it.
http://www.gmote.org/
http://www.cyrket.com/package/org.gmote.client.android
Then get the latest version of VLC and install it (0.9.8a as of this posting).
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Okay now navigate to your VLC install directory and copy all the contents (C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC).
Now, navigate to your Gmote install directory (C:\Program Files\GmoteServer).
From there go to \bin\VLC\ and delete all the contents and paste the latest version of VLC in there.
Now open VLC.exe and go to the Tools menu > Preferences.
Under the simple interface go to Audio and select "Enable last.fm submission", then enter your last.fm log in information. Don't close it.
Now for the shuffle songs, Gmote has a menu option for it but it wasn't working for me, but I did it for good measure. There is a way to force it in VLC.
Right click Gmote Server in the system tray > Settings > Shuffle Songs
Back in VLC in Preferences, under "Show settings" select "All" and go to Playlist menu. From there select "Play files randomly forever".
Go to the bottom and hit Save then close VLC.
Now make sure that the playlist will be set to shuffle by default. Open VLC and go to the Playlist menu > Show Playlist. At the bottom next to the plus the lines should be crossed, if not click it, close out VLC and see. Go through the steps again if its not on shuffle now.
A couple notes in case anyone runs into any issues, I never had Gmote and VLC open at the same time since I believe that Gmote opens up VLC when it is started, not sure. I also selected "Allow only one instance" under Interface settings.
Oh and the first time it played a song the next song started and stopped abruptly, so I just reopened my .m3u playlist and it worked and has worked ever since (the song still scrobbled though).
Also, it won't show what you are currently playing on last.fm, it will only show what you just played.
Nice tutorial!!!!! Only VLC? Can't you do something similar with WMP? All I want is to stream some stuff that "StreamFurious" won't play, shouldn't have to install additional media player just to do that? I could be wrong though....
If you want to listen to music streamfurious won't play, you can set up your own shoutcast station here:
http://www.shoutcast.com/download
Then add the address of your station to streamfurious so you can listen to your own personal collection.
Also, there is an option on Gmote to stream music from your PC to your phone, which should be easier to do. If you happen to have a dynamic IP address (and don't want to always have to remember it), you can setup a dyndns website address @ www.dyndns.org, and enter it as the server you want gmote to connect to.

I should have come here first of course!
Can anyone help please trying to sync my music pics etc from my pc to hd7? I have windows 7 home
you have to instal ZUNE on your PC.. then open it and drop all your pics and music in zune windows, after you can drop what you want in your HD7
Thanks for that I'm trying that music won't drop into Zune. Is it particular place you drop music file in Zune?
You can either set it up to automatically sync through the settings, or drag the music to the lower left, where you see the phone icon, it'll then sync through the USB cable, or wirelessly if you have it set up that way
Either drag&drop, or configure it to automatically add each media type from your collection (music, videos, pics, podcast). The 2nd is a lot easier because you can make it sync automatically.
sent from my MB200 using xda app

there is a regedit hack it will let u see the hd7 on the comp.
I am getting sick of having to manage music on the HD7 through Zune, and my normal media player recognizes it but won't be able to sync. So just a few days ago I went back to Songbird and my phone was quickly listed when connected to PC, and damn right no more using Zune for music videos or even pictures!
So if you want an alternative try Songbird, and it's a damn good music manager as well.
Keep patient because i already try to copy music file with mass-storage mode but that song wasn't appear in my WP7 and then if I back to copy with my Zune, that's song will be appear.
I'm so sick about Zune player too because sometime it wasn't complete information sync into my phone, some music was show "Unknow Artist" or "Unknow Album".. I'm nothing to choose unless I click on "Erase All content" in the setting and all the song will be name again will re-sync.
(Bu that make all picture from my camera gone too.)

Lucky you, doesnt here, the phone is recognised but unable to sync using it
Did you try manually throwing in songs or playlists to it? I should have mentioned, I also have the registry hacks for USB mode, so those reg settings could be the reason why it syncs for me then.
I have been wanting to stream my movies folder on my pc without having to get everything to complicated. Here's how I did it without having to use a bunch of bs. Just browse select and play after some minor setting up.
#1. Install Gmote on your G-tablet
#2. Install the server software on your pc http://www.gmote.org/
#3. Set your share folder on your pc ( movies/music folder )
#4. Run Gmote on your G-tablet
#5. You may have to manually enter your IP if it doesn't find the server.
#6. Once you find the server set the share folder. (movies/music folder)
#7. Now you should see your directories/shared folders by hitting browse
#8. Not only can you use your G-tablet to control the media on your pc and use it as a big touchpad for your computer, hit the browse button, select a movie avi or divx in the shared folder. Make sure you look up top it asks if you want to play the media from the computer or phone. Select phone (experimental) and depending on what media player your using ( rockplayer, stream my media ect. ) it will play your video on your G-tablet. Using this with the docking station and your G-tablet rocks. Works perfectly for me. Nothing big, somebody might have done it before but here you go good stuff.
I also use ORB, Tversity and PlayON to stream all my media to my gtab.
with ORB i can do it anywhere in the world

Yeah i love gmote really is a great app for all android devices i also use it as a media center controller to control whats playing on my media center computer.
also if you setup port forwarding you could access EVERYTHING from your home pc when you are anywhere in the world like the ORB user above said he could do, you could do the same with gmote just gotta open the right ports on your router and voila
Good to know, thank you guys. It was just cool to me that Gmote has multiple purposes now
