I'm having some trouble changing the text color of some buttons in apps like Gmail:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I've looked through styles.xml but I couldn't figure out anything there I've also tried changing res/color/secondary_text_.........xml but no luck there either.
Thanks
I'm guessing that you managed to change the default buttons for the system because of the white text on bottom button , is their not a similar way to do it within the app's apk ??
Edit: Nice Theme btw

if you mean something like this, it was done with a program called "RC Mod", it has some really nice options, just do a google search and you'll find it

And does anyone know also which file is responsible for the background of this grid (The one below) in framework-res.apk?

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

Thank You,, but what about the grid background ?
I think that's a .9png, I look more closely when I get home.
The menu backgrounds are menu_background.9.png & menu_background_fill_parent_width.9.png, the separator that forms the grid is menu_separator.9.png
Thanks,, Got it now
I'm not really liking the glow dot animation when taking phone out of standby, and would like to stop this it from happening.

}
And just have this
Wow thanks
If I helped you hit the thanks button
what you could do is edit the glow dot icon as a blank png, in the framework-res\res\drawable-xhdpi folder
what i want to have is my lockscreen handle always visible, even after pressing it.
i tried changing some of the true/false values in this
framework-res\res\drawable\ic_lockscreen_handle.xml
but no good. i know absolutely nothing about coding.
Dear frieend
Please guide me to modify status bar notification colour by modding systemUI.apk or framework-res.apk from grey to white or holo blue. Iam unable to find such tutorial after lot of searching. I am not liking to use Xposed module. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Problem Solved by editing SystemUI.apk/RES/VALUES/dimens.xml
"status_bar_icon_drawing_alpha" value 100.0% from 65.0%
I think those are png files in the framework-res.apk. You would need to unzip it with an archive manager like 7zip, find them in the res/drawable-xxxx folder and change each one to white with something like gimp or photoshop.
Glad you got it sorted and I'm sorry I was so far off.

Thank you friend for your quick reply
Hi guys, my idea was to change the stock action bar color (all stock apps), if it is possible to make it like s5. I know xml language, but the problem is that I don't know which files I have to edit. I presume that framework-res.apk has to do something but not sure...do someone know what I have to edit?
Is someone interested?
I have discovered the way to edit the action bar (framework-res) and now I can theme it as I want.. do you like this style? I have problems with divider, you can see it into music screenshot
