I would like to thank all of you ur doing a great job here at this forum ; because of your awesome how to's and topics i've managed to make a Custom ROM With full Arabic support and a working Market .
it's based on Arabic_1.67.415.58 stock ROM with Orange ROM kernel (thanx goes to HCDR.Jacob and danne_jo for Giving me the idea)
the main point from making this ROM to have a working Market + native Arabic support(RTL Support) as i didn't find any ROM that supports Arabic and Market at the same time ; i'm not a developer so this is my own custom ROM and you are free to use it for sure ,
everything is working ( i think )
I'll Post 2 versions of the ROM one with Apps2sd Support and the other one without.
Installation of the ROM with Apps2sd support :
1-you must reboot into recovery and partition your sdcard after taking a backup from your data
2- you need to place the zip files of the ROM and market patch to SDcard
3-place Apps2sd into SDcard if you are going to install ROM Versions 1.0 or 1.1 ; there is no need to place it if you are installing ROM version 1.2
4-make android backup
5-wipe both data & dalvik cache
6-flash the ROM then market patch
7-flash Apps2sd (if you are installing ROM versions 1.0 or 1.1 only)
8-reboot
Installation of the ROM WITHOUT Apps2sd support -Standard Version - :
1- first you need to place the zip files of the ROM and market patch to SDcard
2- you must reboot into recovery
3-make android backup
4-wipe both data & dalvik cache
5-flash the ROM then market patch
6-reboot
NOTE : In order to be able to use Arabic Keyboard > Press and Hold on Text field > Chose input method > Select parfield touch keyboard

No Mido ; this can't be done because this ROM was made for Tattoo ; sorry to inform you that .
cant we replace the .so files only to the system/lib ? if not can you please edit it to works on hd2 we are suffering from the bad arabic look on it.

see the satment of urs in bold do we need to flash the Apps2sd seperatly as this is not the case with Jacobs &other cooked roms all we need to do is flash the rom and apps2sd is built in the rom but it seems to be diffrent on ur rom & i hope u also have English support for this rom

for this release i think the best solution is to install Apps2sd separately as i'm having some issues with Apps2sd and the kernel so i'll try to fully integrate it with the ROM later ; and about the English support ; the ROM supports English and french and Arabic and it can support any other language with RTL support .
hi one kestion... Dalvik-cache moved is to sd card or not ? i think its important to have more and more free internal memory thanks a lot its good work !!!

Please help me. I tried to flash my tattoo but I can't.. What I do incorrectly? I maked GoldCard and place zip file with name update.zip. It doesn't work through recovery mode. I tried to rename it into CLICIMG.zip but I have had same problem.. Please, could anybody upload signed Arabic ROM for Tattoo? I promised one man that i'll do it.

after making sure that everything is okay with your Tattoo please go to the following thread :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=716282
and try to root your device correctly this time and make sure that you are using maverixx recovery or Amon_RA recovery images .
after rooting your device you can flash any custom ROM you want to..

i've been trying to solve this issue by installing many applications from the market but it didn't work out ; i'll try to solve this issue and will keep you updated ; thanx for reporting this issue
why the bluetooth can paired i turn the bluetooth but they have problem...cannot transfer the file....i complete..is working good arabic...but bluetooth problem

the bluetooth is not fully supported in htc with 1.6 you can try to flash anyrom bases on 2.2 and u'll have a working bluetooth

you can try SPQRom 0.4.1 i think the bluetooth is working fine ; but there is no camera support , FM and BT handsfree
so you can give it a try
yup i try for that camera not working.......but bluetooth they same problem im using bluetooth file transfer in market is working...in this version...i hope everybody using this htc tattoo aware for this problem....

to get the arabic language just flash arabic firmware from the site i gave u

you need to flash gingerbread to unlock your bootbloader then its easy to do so just flash it via odin like what you did now , and after you flash gingerbread stock safe from overcome , you can then put the rom in your sdcard (memory) and flash it via CWM
you must be over GINGERBREAD to do all of that so this is almost the things you need to do , but for more guides and to make sure you are 100% so see their thread in the dev section
hey dude , please not that you need to flash 1st stock gingerbread and then overcome stock safe , this is the easist way for yo to do , i'm not responsible about anything you gonna do later

I follow this guild yesterday but i failed ..
flash the stock safe 1st during you downloading the IRACUS nowipe or wipe it doens't matter because stock safe will wipe everything for you
after you flash it , wait you'll hear women robot voice telling you about the procces , after its done it will reboot your tab , after your tab boot , put the rom you downloaded (nowipe or wipe) in your sdcard , reboot away to cwm (recovery mode) and install the rom from there and here you go up and running
you should buy me roz bilabn from saber or mashawi from hosni after i come to egypt in ramadan for this
- Grab the “001002-Overcome_v3.0.0_ICARUS_NoWipe.zip” file from these link:
- Copy the update zip file at the root of your internal SD. Then fire up the CWM recovery, and choose the “install zip from sdcard” and look for the 001002-Overcome_v3.0.0_ICARUS_NoWipe file. Then update away.
- After it is done installing, it’s considered a best practice to wipe the Cache and the Dalvik Cache. (The new installer takes care of that now…) Then reboot.
- Do be prepared for a long first boot after that, as the system would need some time rebuilding the cache and the dalvik cache. It’ll return to the normal, speedy boot times after that… and there’s no need to flash the kernel, as the updater and the full ROM would always contain the latest kernel…

This is the first post that gives you miui rom based on the work of our great Dev - JasonStein. I'v used his tool and these are the results..
Avicho MIUI ROM
This is the most updated Miui Rom - 2.3.23 including the English, chinese, Hebrew(Full UI Translate, RTL support and Hebrew T9 dialer) Languages.
Enjoy.. and remember I'm not a developer...
Use doom's miui kernel or blendmiui kernel(my favorite..)
This Miui Rom needs baseband 56 to run - If you don't have this Baseband

Install instructions:
1. Put the rom zip file in your sd card
2. Make sure you have the desired kernel - doom's miui kernel or blendmiui v09(my favorite) kernel. if not flash it using fastboot.
3. Recomended - wipe data factory and cache, especially if u come from other rom (like stock or cm7), if not it's not so important
4. Flash the rom using the cwm recovery.
5. Reset and enjoy.

Hello, thank you for your ROM update. Just FYI, MIUI extended settings (the version for 1.11.25) is not working with your version. Something you removed or added to this ROM broke the update. But everything else seems to be working fine.

I found a solution to this problem - download the attached files and put them on your sd card. the file named "Signed_NoOverscroll.v1" flash through the recovery but before you flash this file mount the "/data" and the "/system" through the cwm recovery 'mount' menu (it's easy). after the mount thing flash the file and reboot.
Then go to file manager program (like es file explorer) and then install the MIUIsettings.apk file(check before that you can install file from unknown sources in the aplications settings). After this easy operations u will enjoy the "miui control" app.
Anyway, I'm here to help.

Not sure what I am doing wrong. I was using superrom 1.0 and MyGKernelV1.1.1_CWM5.
Now I flashed back the official ROM and Kernel and did a hard reset and then again rooted with MyGKernelV1.1.1_CWM5 since directly the ROM was not getting flashed from CWM. Now even after doing flashing the official ROM and Kernel and then MyGKernelV1.1.1_CWM5 and then I tried to install zip from SD and it shows the installation is complete how ever when the booting starts the phone gets stuck at boot screen with the yellow triangle. Nothing happens. Can you please explain the procedure to install the ROM to me and which Kernel to use. Iam in India.
I can got to Recovery and also download mode back to Super ROM 1.0 with MyGKernelV1.1.1_CWM5.

actually u r the 2nd guy from India specifically who faced a problem in flashing the ROM, i believe that there are something different in Indian devices or something not good in RAM or bootloader
and with out the device in my hand it is nearly impossible to tell what is the problem

I'm experiencing the same issue. I install the rom, restart, pass the galaxy screen and then black screen... I'm a french user.

I've made some test and if I install SuperROM before, it work but without root access.

Can you please teach me how do you cook your ROM since i always encountering problem while flashing. The status 0 and 7 things.
I am using E120L. Hopefully not much difference on the kitchen and step to cook.

Flashing using CWM is ok for me as I always try flashing all E120L rom at this moment. When the time comes to flash my cooked rom the status 0 occur. From my research it is come from the updater or update script.
The way I do is just a simple cook. Using UF11 rom:
1. In Kitchen. After download and extract the package I create additional file in /kitchen/tools/samsung_files/model_variants/galaxy_s2/E120L.
2. After setup the working folder, add root and add busybox, first I converting updater-script to update-script.
3. Then removing the unwanted apps.
4. Converting update-script to updater-script.
5. Lastly build the rom.
If you can correct and advice me it will be appreciated. This rom cooking things is new for me to understand the step.

Thinking the kitchen is not support for SII HD LTE Korea (not the same SII international)
So you can use updater-binary but change somethings in updater-updater-script (2 files from others build for E120L/K)
Just some One used E120K ?!

Yes ! ported this to S and L phone ! I have tested ! You can choose your device when installing (included K or L or S boot, kernel, modules,...)

Thank you @dungphp for sharing your ROM. I am in Korea and will test + I will also have the opportunity to test it in South Africa and compare it with stock MD2 and let you know in March when I return.. Will you develop anything based on the MK1 ROM? (still no tegrak kernel for MK1)
Also, have you tested CM and MIUI ROMS on the E120K? Any feedback/comments/recommendations? I have tried every baseband/CM/MIUI combination, but I always get random silent voice (incoming and outgoing).

I have the same positive experience - I have been using this ROM for a few weeks and it really is an awesome ROM. Is there a recommended baseband to select when flashing? There are two options - "amss" and "mdm" and i really wasn't sure which one to select.
