Gala S theme

Would anyone be able to port this theme over to the hero?

Looks very nice and fresh.
I would be interested to know if there is a quick way to port a theme, based on say a Nexus, to the Hero. If so I could give this a bash. I've previously tried to do this for another theme and have had to mostly resize the images one by one.

I think the theme in the link is for nexus, I would try but I don't know anything about making themes =P

Yeah the images need to be scaled down to mdpi. I am just working on another theme at the mo, but have finally figured out how to edit the .9.png's so once i'm done with that I'm gonna see if i can port this over

If you haven't already you might want to check out the 'Gala S' theme for ADW Launcher. Currently for our mdpi devices its not as complete, but in time hopefully will be all there It's worth a look.

I just tried it out with the heTANG theme and it looks great! All I need now is status bar and the themed lockscreen

[Theme] [3/28/11] Nitro Vivid v1.0 - Tested with Super Clean

Welcome to Nitro Vivid 1.0 - Tested on Super Clean
This theme is a spin off of some of my other themes and with a lot of color. A lot of the launcher images are from manup in this theme.
Features:
Full Black UI with custom menus and launchers on nearly every icon (manup and myself)
Superclean 2.9.2 battery
Modded gingerbread dialer (tabs taken from nitsuj's Sense)
Blacked out Contacts from NitroDark
Blacked out mms app (kenesis)
Black Google Talk
Black Google Voice
Settings menu icons HTC style
Calendar highlights green (nitsuj's sense, landscape modded by me)
Themed widgets (voice, talk, search, facebook, twitter, launcherpro widgets)
Themed launcherpro (yes it is the old version for now)
Custom drop downs and buttons
Overall just quite a few windows, icons, launchers modded and cleaned up.
Just as the title suggests. Everything is just vivid!
Themed android keyboard and swype
Swype keyboard layout from thatdudebutch
Green tracer and glow added to swype
Custom bootanimation (not sure where from)
Wallpapers are included if anyone wants it. (sdcard/nitrowallpapers)
Mashups of all sorts of stuff
Items working on:
Themed phone.apk
New pull down/toggles
New signal strength
New buttons
Add some more detail so that it is more complete

I have posted an attachment at the bottom with an updated launcherpro 0.8.4 for this theme. Remove the old one with rootexplorer and drop this one in system/app which is the same location as the previous version.

It is a gingerbread keyboard which does not have haptic feedback. If you would like the stock android keyboard back flash this:

The wallpapers are pushed to your SD card during the install. It should be in NitroWallpapers folder.

Its vivid compared to his other great themes. This is a great one as well. Ever wonder why people stop makeing themes? Because when they make them and for the most part everyone likes it, there is always one person that has to be a smart ass about it one way or another. I'm sure the devs get sick of the crappy post about work they are doing for FREE! just saying

I have a couple of suggestions.....
The new version of launcher pro is on the market, 84 I think it is...
One of the themes I've played with.....maybe a few versions ago of either superdark or nitrodark had these cool nifty colored icons in the pulldown menu that I think would match this concept.....
I really like the themed launcher pro setup, just adds to the cool factor and it works right without me having to reenter my registration key for the plus parts, I guess its stored in a setting on sdcard, but its cool nonetheless

I am actually going to to change the notification bar to the one from superdark that I also used in my NitroDark theme in some of the earlier versions. I have an updated launcherpro for this version if anyone wants it. I am going through and updating the launcherpro's that I use in my themes right now. I will post a zip if anyone wants it in the original post in about 5-10 minutes.

newbe here i just have to say you do great work keep it up, one question how do i install the laucherpro file you have under nitro to my phone simple steps please just learning lol also i installed your honeycomb theme i love it but if i wanted to install a different theme all i have to do is flash the second theme correct??

[CM7] Request Themes

Most people think they can just fire up Photoshop and make a theme, but I believe it's more complicated than that. (I used to make themes a while back for phones such as the T-Mobile Shadow, I know right, LAME.)
It's been years since then and now I am asking you all, what do you want to see?
Try and be very descriptive as the more details you provide, the better the theme. I will also be doing themes for various devices but these are ONLY for CM7.

seems like many themers are using black and white bar. why dont dont you try a transparent one this time? hehe...
btw, i thought you ask to request which theme to be ported, cuz i have 2 old themes that the themers would not updated, hoping to have them updated if possible.

I would love to see the crysis glow battery mod come to cm7. That would be pretty fresh.

I would like to see a theme that didn't mess with the app icons in the app drawer so much.. I hate when certain apps are colored and then other apps arent. very annoying looking.

I think its wrong to expect this in a theme. The creators of the themes cannot be expected to create icons for every app there is, that's just unreasonable.

I was suggesting that he didn't theme the icons.

[Theme] [Request] Sense for comm rom 2.0

So there isn't anything out like this for the comm rom and.I think it'd be sweet to try out I love blurwiz and id love to see something that looked like gingersense for the fascinate

Nitsuj17 has said a few times that he wants to update the sense theme but he just hasnt gotten around to it.

Many of the aspects of sense 3.0 are very difficult to emulate theme wise...this is just more less an update of my previous sense theme

Sense theme is very nice. It's actually the very first theme I ever flashed.

im just saying rather than take on port after port, learn the stuff you are putting off....9 theming is a huge part of what needs to be done to theme
and a lot of what it took to make the sense theme involved editing a ton of stuff, making new images/backgrounds and creating stuff that i couldnt get off an htc phone...it wasnt a straight port...so thats why im very invested in doing it myself

I agree, com rom has been the best I've used on my fascinate and i would love a sense theme. Sense is probably my favorite ui.

yes and no...i cant distribute the actual older version of fancy widget (1.3) as its considered warez...however if you google it...its not hard to find
or if you have (new) fancy widget pro (like 2-3 bucks in the market) and download h7c skin its a perfect replica of it
or weather and toggle widgets (no idea if its still in the market or not...i havent redownloaded it in ages) and the same skin

Go weather has a HTC style clock skin for there widget. Looks pretty close and its freeeee

Theme - (EC05) (EF02 Beta) Something Blue v1.0.0

I have been playing with themes for a while now, and I am pretty happy with this one.
This theme is based off SRF1.1.1, but should work on most Froyo Roms. I have used a lot of images from Matted Blues, some from Emotionless Beast, and some from stock Gingerbread. Maddoggins lockscreen mod is included.
Apps themed are contacts, dialer, phone, mediaprovider, settings, and the market. The other apps are there because of the status bar icons.
Thanks goes to MysteryEmotionz, maddoggin, b-reezy, and the original themer for Matted Blues. I also want to say thanks to all the developers, themers, testers, etc. who help do anything for the community. We wouldnt have what we have today if it wasnt for everybody helping to make it what it is.
If I missed anybody, shoot me a pm and I will update.

Here is a beta version for EF02. Everything works, I just havent got around to changing the menu text/background color, and I doubt that I will. I wasnt going to update until official release, but saw a request, so here is something to play with. You need to be on EF02 before you flash this.

I have been using the dialer from matted blues, but wanted something different. This one makes the keys much more defined. I did a lot of work on the dialer and phone apk. I didnt like the green and red buttons, or the green outline for the incoming call so I changed all of them. It is perfect in my mind, to each his own though.

Theme in and extremely dificult task.

What do you mean? I didnt theme the contacts icon, its the list that is themed. I used to have the icon themed, but i have been using more of a touchwiz look lately (not that you can tell from the screen shots)
The icons on my home screen above are on my sdcard. I change them all the time.

Well I guess what it did was take out the contacts icon I had on the bottom of my home screen. I am using Zeam Launcher. It turned the icon into the little android man in a box. I can try it again.

I just wanted to give you a heads up. If I remember right, if I try to push one say from matted blue theme, I think I may mess things up and get in a bootloop. At least that's what has happened to me in the past.

Are you trying to push an icon? I use adw-ex, it lets you change all the icons within the launcher. I keep a file of icons that I created on my sdcard so I can switch them all the time.

No, I just don't have a "contacts" to press but I can get to them from the dialer or messaging so its really a minor thing. I will check out ADW EX also. Congrats on your first theme.

That is strange. I know its there cause I have it on mine. You might try downloading or flashing again.
