[Q] Default sms skin? - Android Themes

Is there any way that I can "remove" the HTC SMS app skin and have the original Android sms app? The HTC one seems pretty laggy...

Hi,
Can somebody tell me how do I remove the SMS/MMS size field?
I just kinda like that look without the size.

[Q] Messages wallpaper has an unwanted shadow overlay

I didn't like my themes wallpaper in the Messages app and when I changed my it to my own, there's an overlay and I can't get rid of it... Anyone know how? It should look like the thumbnail.
