Flash through Odin with the 512 PIT file, as usual. Password for rar file is samfirmware.com. This looks like another 2.1 release. The I9000 got another froyo leak today, sigh. Don't know what's new in this build. Flashing now, will post results later.

um

THX MAN
good job posting this
gonna flash this and test
yeah, it sucks it's still 2.1. but, at least its something.
Edit:
This one is about 1 MB larger than the last leak.
Edit Edit:
Looks like this was built on the 19th. They are changing a lot of stuff in system.
looks like I'll be making a backup and loading ODIN. LOL
Sigh, and so begins another round of "undo voodoo, nandroid, odin, etc."
Hopefully will be checking this out in just a few minutes, thanks for the post, cheers!

Here we go again.....think I'll wait for some mo' info on this - Just got my phone running so sweet now.
flashing now. will let you know what works/doesnt. Wont be able to test wifi at work though..
You will loose root due to it wiping your phone, just reroot. it works fine.
2.1-update1
Baseband: T959UVJI4
Kernel: 2.6.29
Build: ECLAIR.UVJI4
Quadrant Score: 901
I did see FPS hit 58. will download Neocore to confirm. (Neocore only shows 55.6)
Linpack - 7.93
MAJOR MARKET LAG on 1st run.
Now has Media Hub
lock screen: you have to swipe the entire screen to get it to unlock. ugh.
Task Manager
HD Camcorder
anything major to report?
just flashed...no new apps. will test gps and other things.
Samsung just needs to release froyo!

Sadly, I'm seeing the same thing ~10+ minutes, no lock. Turned on wireless location, another ~10+ minutes, still no lock. Factory reset, try again, still no lock.
Seems like GPS is totally useless for me so far with JI4 update, and I'm seriously beginning to believe all the naysayers that this is an issue that cannot be fully fixed by software alone. Oh well, I'm starting to see a G2 in my future I guess, really wish I had waited now, lol.

yeah, I skipped the last leak, so wasn't aware of the full screen swipe to unlock. but just from reading, looks like the only change is media hub

Hmmm, well if I am gonna have to wipe for this I may as well SBF back and get the official OTA.
Seems pretty decent so far. My linpak and quadrant scores are even with what I was getting with the OTA after getting rid of some bloat. Calendar fix hasn't fixed my sync issue yet. Any idea why when I post my scores to linpak my notes show build 2.2.20? I'm not familiar with that particular version. Phone info shows 2.3.15 as it should but this is obviously not built off the official 2.2 as I've notice certain things change back to leak versions.
I'll give this rom a few days but I'm probably heading back to the OTA.
Can someone share the stock backup assistant apk with me? I'm lazy enough that I was just using that instead of a3rd party app so now I'm missing a HUGE chunk of my contacts. If it can't be used on this rom I'm doingan sbf right away when I get home.

Why would you want the OTA? There is nothing magical about it, except Moto decided to lock the system down some more with new Bootloader keys.
Check out the threads around the forums, everyone is enjoying RubiX.

There is in fact a difference. Newer Baseband and New Kernel which results in better performance. These two objects were left out of the leak for fear of it leading back to the leaker.

and when I click on the download link, I noticed the download is coming from ninebysix.com, which is jake days website.
Flashed it. It's pretty damn fast. Perhaps this is Jake's reconciliation.
Fast is true and easy to install when following directions. The one thing that is strange and wondering if anyone else is experiencing.
I keep getting FC when trying to access my calendar. Yes I am trying to access my google calendars with default calendar program and even Jorte.
Anyone else?
Perhaps ideas for me?

Happened to me...flash the rom zip following the instructions. Reboot the phone. Then bootstrap and reboot back into recovery and flash the calendarfix zip from page 7 of this thread: http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-roms/8428-rom-rubix-focused-0-3-a-7.html
I had this instaled but could'nt get google maps to work so I went back to flyx rom. The market is stuck downloading google maps I hit cancel and it has force closed
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
I also had some FC problems. It FC's everytime you try to stop a download in the market. It FC's every time you click on the battery manager to see what's sucking juice and it FC'd when messing around with the Calendar.
Because of those reasons, plus not being any faster than I had gotten my OTA after bloatware removal and some build.prop tweaks, not being able to use Backup Assistant (losing 80% of my contacts) and the fact that I actually like the native 2.2 txt app led me back to my OTA 2.2 through the nandroid backup I made before installing rubiX.
This is one I will definitely keep an eye on and will be testing in further revisions, but it's not where I want a rom to be right now.
I appreciate all the hard work that went into it but it's just not for me right now.

I'm Derek Rodriguez (thats my full name), and have honestly barely conversed with jake. He was nice enough to let me host my files through his ftp alongside with Boostdscoob (dominator/eliminator roms for d1) when we were collaborating for roms, and still lets me. Jake is a great guy from what I know of him, and makes pretty bad ass kernels.
It's hosted there, as well as alldroid, and androiddoes.net.
arlan_jacob, a reboot might of fixed it. I chose not to include market apps with how fast updates have been coming out lately, didn't wanna leave any behind and people not able to update correctly. Sorry about the issue, I'll make an update.zip with the market apps included if it'd help out.

This is supposed to be a blurless rom, correct? I loaded it last night, and def still has blur in it.... When I get home I'll have to see if it actually deodexed like it promised. Even Contacts are still blur...
I will say that it's FAST though..

All of the current ROMS have *some* level of Blur. Since we cannot bypass the Moto Kernel, there are some levels of base code that just have to be there.
Tranquility, Apex, zapX, and Rubix 0.5 were all built on the 2.3.15 release and then removed as much of the blur components as they could and still have it function.
Fission & Rubix 1.0 built from a base that came out of the Droid2 SDK which appears to be very stock Android and therefore, they are a little more 'blur-less' than others. Which is both good and bad. Time is showing that some of the blur components have some nice functionality that people are missing when they go completely blur-less.

This is absolutely true and was the same for the D1 except it wasn't Blur, but you can't build AOSP for D1 either without using the extract-files.sh to pull all of the proprietary components that make the phone work.
It's a basic truth about phone firmware.

So far, I've had like maybe one or two glitches.... sometimes after a reboot the boot screen gets left on the lock screen, so you can still unlock your phone, but you have to guess where the sliders are.
another is that the calendar widget doesn't work.
Other then those two, the rom is FAST, stable, and battery life has been great. Worth it to me in my opinion... It's not an ASOP "experience" though... it's more like a hybrid.
Like it so far though, it's my daily driver.
Edit: Also, this applies to STOCK people (running the 2.2 OTA).... I was odexed, completely stock..... installed this rom with ease: no wiping, no formatting, nada. AND it deodexed my phone for me.... LOVE THAT.

I have bought tasker aS well (the stock rom doesn't let the os sleep when gps is enabled so I bought it to turn it on and off for all my apps)
Now I like your idea of syncing every 30 but I use google voice exclusively. And the voice app. Does that mean if I turn off my sync I won't get my messages in a timely mater?

This rom also doesn't seem to sleep when wick is on. Am I missing something? Anyway I do see how this can save a lot a battery with the screen dining and everything. I had to wipe my phone to get it to work. Last time I tried when I booted every system app was force closing. I feel like this is a little slower than rubix but way faster then stock. Could be too the drawer just doesn't feel right. Too bouncy for me to use quickly. Ill probably go to pro launcher. But if I don't want to how do I customize the 4 apps at the bottom? Its driving me nuts

I'm Guess you Fixed the Reboots caused by the Framework when using EUR Based Roms? If no H / 3G / E then it just a Masked Rom on Stock Vibrant Frameworks.
What was the issue if you don't mind, I know it's in the service.jar and Barak & myslef has been looking at it when we get time... Statusbar SignalUpdate is the error, just not had much luck in finding the right part of it yet...
Sad thing is HSPA ( H ) and 3G works Perfect, but when switching to Edge is falls out & no edge service can be used..

After the 700th de-odex, there were no reboot issues.
Biggest issue now is the inability to connect to secured wifi - gonna spend the day working on that. Also if you fail to do a full wipe after the flash then it will most likely boot loop, especially if coming from JFD.
Interesting. Does this ROM contains european locales as i9000 rom? (especially interested in russian)

Odd though, I have no issue's connecting to wifi on the JPU build I have though, I just get reboots when switching to edge.

No fcs, haven't tested 3g or GPS yet since I'm indoors and don't get a good signal anyway. The only annoying thing is the TW launcher chooses the first screen as the home screen and I can't change it, but I use Launcher pro anyway.

Update #4: I previously thought Motorola would OTA to 2.3.4 instead of 2.3.3 now that I'm seeing 2.3.4 builds. But, it looks like my initial projections were probably right. We'll be looking at 2.3.3 for the Atrix on OTA. Then, there will be a separate update to 2.3.4.
I was recently updated to a newer build: 4.5.47. This build was finalized on 05/24/2011 04:46:02. We've got a month more of builds already, which means the Atrix Gingerbread update should be nearing completion.

Details
Code:
Android 2.3.3
Webtop: wt-1.2.0-76_OLY-1
Build: 4.5.40
A nice guy gave me this to see if we can get root and such. He requested that no one have access to the files, and I'll be keeping my promises. Sorry, guys!
Anyways, we can test out root exploits. All of the traditional ones seem blocked, including Gingerbreak. I haven't tried beforeupdate/afterupdate yet. I'll be trying that later.
too good to be true! haha!
Thanks Kenneth!
Just saw this on your website! Very exciting! I can't believe they managed to break gingerbreak on it though. Typical Moto. Is it an update or an SBF that you have?
EDIT: Someone brought this up on IRC. What about webtop?
I was given a service file that doesn't wipe data when it updates. I was pretty sad when I saw that Gingerbreak was borked.
Hope this comes soon. However i won't update anyways. Not unless you can flash back to 1.26.
no disrespect but we all knew it was coming....now a real surprize would be a download link

Fair enough. Can't give that to you. I'm sure a beta program through Moto will be announced soon. Then everyone can get their hands dirty.
Wow, this version of blur actually looks pretty good
Hey Ken. Any idea on when it will be available for non att users? (i.e Bell, Testra)

I do worry about something though. Everytime I have flashed an SBF file my phone goes back to stock and I have to go through motoblur account setup and all that again.
However, with 1.83 when I flashed the sbf, it didn't really go back to stock. In fact, my fingerprint, go launcher settings, wall paper etc were all still the same.
Did this mean the flashing process didn't work alright?
I ask b/c i wouldn't want to miss a FOTA update of gingerbead.
Finally
Looks dope ! Can't wait

No. There are two kinds of SBF files. Service SBF files and regular ones. "Service" ones don't wipe the data partition on your device. You're fine!

Hopefully Gingerbread comes out roughly the same time for users on all carriers. We'll see, though. I wouldn't get my hopes up for a simultaneous update.

Kennethpenn: Please do be careful. It would be a bummer if you found a small tweak to gain root, which your nice friend relayed to the big M. You know this, of course.
Thank you for having the class to not simply leak the files. Restores some of my faith in XDA! ;-)

Best news I heard in a long while!
Any chance of benchmarking this sucker?
Looks great! Kinda wish it came with the stock Gbread keyboard though...Oh well, can't hurt to try out an updated Moto keyboard
Kenn, as far as you can tell are we finally able to customize the double-tap home feature, or is Moto still making us use their select apps?
i can't connect to anything on the domain briefmobile.com? lol fail

Still limited to about ten. Looks like a longer list, though. And, you can now select "none."

Fair enough. The 'none' feature is actually all I really need. The app quickdesk could probably work with the double tap now if none is selected on the Motoblur end. Thanks!
Q.1
As I said I had problem with SU Binary on my Galaxy note GTN7000.Is the SU-Busybox the same for ICS/JB so I can just update my busybox?
Q.2
I try to flash the Ultimate_N7000_XXLSC_JellyBean with PhilZ-cwm6-XXLS7-XJB-3.1-signed and when I full wipe, format what it needs I try to install the ROM and I have this error message:E:Installition Aborted.emb/Ultimate_blah_blah_blah cantbe installed. Its the kernel? Where do I wrong?
Q.3
I see some users after answering or asking something have something like "Logo".I see they have ----------------- to separately there post after posting and then they add their logos
(I know this question is not about JB but idk where to post it)
E.G

1. Should work fine with both ICS and JB, changes in 4.1 were not that great for the apps not to work.
2. Most likely a bad download, try downloading again.
3. I think you're talking about "signature" feature, it's in your user panel.

Hey, just a heads up on my experience with JB/UltimateN7000. My advice is don't do it..
I had the latest ICS stock German version with root, and mostly everything was acceptable. Default Samsung home screen was very smooth at first, but as I install apps (about 20 apps, no games) and use it more, it gets slow after about a week. Then I install Nova Launcher, and it's much better (smoother and responsive) than the Samsung launcher, but it feels slow time by time as if the device is already showing it's age. (I bought this for $600 in April 2012, and it already has 3 tiny cracks on the thin rim that wraps the screen, never been dropped, no scratches anywhere.)
I keep hearing about how JellyBean is wonderful and all, the awesome project Butter, and that it's going to be the true cure to make everything fast and smooth, competitive enough against Windows Phone and iPhone.
This is the same promise that ICS had when we were on Gingerbread. Lack of hardware acceleration on the graphics was the explanation back then. Even after ICS, it's still not as smooth as the competitors even with superior hardware.
I installed this XXLSC based Ultimate N7000 (had stock leaked JelleyBean for couple days before), I'm sorry to say this, but the performance really sucks. I understand that it could be due to this being a leaked ROM, but I'm kind of worried about this device's future. I wonder how are you guys are using your devices with leaked JellyBean.
What's with the lock screen, the overwhelming ink drop effect? The hardware is clearly lacking, but why are they (Samsung) trying to shove stuff in?
What's with the the pull down (notification) menus' small buttons on the top - springing back every single time wasting CPU cycles?
The dialer still takes 2-3 seconds to pull up. Opening contacts, or switching to recent call history tab makes me hesitate because it takes so damn long. This was a problem also in ICS.
Did you guys try the Camera app? Try taking a picture, and then try to review the picture you just taken. How long does it take? Mine takes about 30 seconds, and it lags horribly while doing all that. Now try that on a iPhone, it takes less than 10 seconds, and no stutter at all. (No, I hate iPhone's closed eco system so no thanks.)
It's like playing a FPS shooter game with high quality graphics/every effect enabled but only at 15 FPS, when it could play 30 FPS with lower graphics quality/effects. (I would much prefer at least 60 FPS though.)
I'm going back to my ICS stock backup for now, and maybe later on when Samsung releases JellyBean, and some developer makes a lean version, or do it myself, and I'll try it again.
It's just sad to see that a relatively powerful dual core phone is too slow to function satisfactory these days.
Lastly, thanks to the developers, and sorry for the vent. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to mock you or anything. I really do appreciate you and every other developers out there.

That's why i ALWAYS go AOSP. Never had such problems, even in beta/experimental releases of CM. Anyway, hope OP has resolved his problems already.
