"Xbox LIVE Update Preview Program
I am happy to announce that we’re doing an Xbox 360 System Update Preview program for our next release, and the opportunity to sign up is now available. The Preview Program will give you the chance to check out ESPN on Xbox LIVE, Zune music, Netflix search, the new Xbox LIVE dashboard, and new updates to Zune video and Family Settings on your Xbox 360*. Much like we did last year, you’ll need to visit the Microsoft Connect site from this link and sign in with your Windows LIVE ID that is connected to your Xbox LIVE Gamertag. Once you complete the survey that is presented to you, the Connect site will notify you immediately if you’ve been accepted. A couple of points before you head off to register:
We’re looking for multiple thousands of participants, so your chances of making it in are good.
This is not for Kinect. You will not be receiving a Kinect sensor if you are chosen to participate.
This opportunity is open to all Xbox LIVE Members in regions where Xbox LIVE is available.
To avoid any problems, read the survey carefully and double check all the information your provide.
While both Xbox LIVE Gold and Silver members can sign up, Priority will be given to Gold members in the selection process.
I’ll be sure to updated this post if the program fills up."

Thanks
This worked for me. It is also stated on there web site that our device is supported. Great for filming weddings or birthday parties allowing family and friends around the world to watch live.

Also just for kicks. Try this if you wanna watch tv from anywhere. 8)
http://www.orb.com
ps. the current version of ORB as of today has a nasty bug that constantly reads you hard drive and causes video to chop. get the 1.01.0639 version dated Feb 23. It works better. Or download a newer version it it exist. On your device when loged into your ORB page I suggest going to "Set Speed" link at bottom and setting Device Web Speed to 60k and checking the Remember speed box. This will prevent rebuffering issues.(at least on my US T-Mobile network)
thanks for your reply i have used the comvu and orb but i was wondering if there is something else that can be used to do the live streaming see i dont want to be dependent on a a service provider i was like what if i host my own live video streaming server and the if there is a software that i can use to stream the video over the internet
but i guess this is still too far away
ya. dont know anything that does that. I know that Microsoft Portrait will stream. But to only one user. You cant do multicast without a server.
hey where can i find this microsoft potrait and yeah i can make my self a server so that i can multicast to few people around my family all over the globe that will be cool

Windows Media Encoder 9
WME9 is free and allows encoding / streaming. Maybe you can broadcast using one of those other tools to a server running WME9 and use it for other clients. I'm not familiar with Microsoft Portrait, so I'm not sure if that's capable.

I really hate to not contribute in a thread, but could you please start using punctuation in your posts? It's really difficult to read what you're saying with any punctuation. And no, paragraphing is not considered punctuation.
The unofficial Star Trek Online Profile viewer allows you to view the status of your in-game characters, view your inventory, and your past and current missions.
In the following versions you will be able to view your Duty Officers once Free-2-Play comes out.
Please refer to the help section in the application on how to get your Character ID. Cryptic Studios has yet to release a method to remotely search characters. Please note that long load times are normal for characters with a lot of data as the files can be somewhat large and the website is usually slow.
Version 0.5 was just submitted today and should appear in the marketplace sometime on Monday.

Tell me what you think!
I guess nobody here plays Star Trek Online.
Is this app available for Android?
Windows Phone 7 Only currently. I am going to be working on an HTML 5 version that works for mobile phones in the coming months.
I am uploading a new video to youtube to showcase this application.
I give up on trying to embed youtube (seems broken)

Sat Rad Player is a WP7 application that allows you to listen to your Sirius or XM subscription on your WP7 device.
You can use the application for free in trial mode which is fully functional, will never expire, but includes advertisements. Purchasing the application will remove the advertisements permanently.
Marketplace link to US version for US based Sirius/XM subscriptions
Marketplace link to CDN version for Candian based Sirius subscriptions (sorry XM isn't supported currently)
Please Note: In order to use this application, you will need to subscribe to the Internet Streaming option available from Sirius/XM.
The current version does not have access to every channel available through Sirius/XM. This is due to Sirius/XM not keeping their legacy streams up to date after a channel reorg that occurred early last year. I’m working on trying to get these additional channels added to the application. You can find a list of channels available at the following link:
Currently Available Channels
Features
Channel guide data is constantly updated so you know what’s playing on each channel at a glance
Capability to store a list of Favorite Channels
Background Audio – listen while running other tasks on the phone, or while the phone is locked.
When the app is running in the background, navigate to your next Favorite channel in your list by using the mini controller’s Back/Forward buttons. Hit the volume button to bring up the mini controller.
Channel guide quick select – easily search for and navigate to a specific channel
Hot List – like the song you are currently listening to? Add it to your hotlist, so you can remember what that song is for later, and if you like you have the option of purchasing it from the Zune Marketplace to download directly to your phone.
Support for both portrait and landscape orientations.
Theme aware – adapts to the theme you have selected on your phone.
Bluetooth Support - great for when you're riding your bike or motorcycle
Choose between High/Low Quality Streams (US version only). The setting is remembered by Channel.
If anyone has any ideas on what they would like to see in the next version of the app, please let me know! I'm very receptive to other's ideas.
And for any issues relating to the app, or any questions, feel free to post them here, use the 'Email Support' button within the app itself, or send an email to [email protected]. I'm fairly quick in responding to support emails.
Hope you enjoy the app, below are a few screen shots of it in action (click image for larger size):
On November 13th on a Google support page for the Chromecast that lists out compatible apps and services, HBO Go was shown sitting next to Pandora and Hulu Plus as the “new” apps to the ecosystem. It has since been pulled. It was probably put up prematurely but could be an indication that the HBO Go app will soon support casting.
You do need a subscription to HBO to use the Go App, however it has almost ALL seasons and episodes of all their original programs. Even old series like The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Weeds and Lucky Louie to name a few. Unlike cable in demand it has every episode, so it seems like a pretty nice addition to chromecast if you already subscribe to HBO.
