First let me say I take no credit for any of the work in this link, I can only take credit for starting the thread and sharing my find with XDA community.
(Some of you may have already come across it)
These docks should come in handy for everyone that has different themes or wants to match up a wallpaper, whether you have stock roms, custom roms or for those of you that have flashed new themes..
Enjoy......I hope you find them useful.
http://launcherpro.droidicon.com/
Instructions..
1. Download Barcode Reader from the market.
2. Use the Barcode reader to read the images next to the icon or dock you choose.
3. Press on the image
4.Long press on the image, you should now get the option to save to your SD Card.
5.Use Launcher pro to set your icons or dock.
Here is a few Screenshots of some of the docks (not icons)
Last one is the one I kept...
Feel free to post new Icons and Docks in this thread...
Bump as requested
That's great thanks.
I was wondering where you got the text-based icons for your dock from. They are just what I have been looking for.
I think I have stumbled across them:

Or create them yourself in photoshop; start with a 84*84px canvas, transparent background and write the text in the desired color using the text tool. Save as .png.
the 84*84 you are talking about is that standard for Desire HD? some of the text icons i downloaded are quite tiny for me to read so i might try and create my own. normal icons launcher pro comes with are fine
Glad your finding the link useful...
Dude - why did you get rid of the pics of your phone layout?
Thank you so much!
We (myself and energizerpanda) are proud to present you an icon pack (150 x 150 px) based on Symbian Anna. Some of the icons were taken from a system dump, and some of them were self-made.
The current pack has several icons, but feel free to post which icons do you miss, and we will try to create them.
Changelog:
05/07/11 - First release !
17/07/11 - Added icons for: Evernote, eBook Reader, Winamp, Cozi, Pocket Informant, Waze, Folder Organizer

Looks great, gonna check them out when I get home from work!
Very nice icon pack! I searched the theme you based it on & downloaded those as well. Going through them to see which I'd use normally & which more important (to me) ones are missing.
Going to use some generics now (generic Twitter instead of Plume), but can you provide icons for:
eBook Reader (I use 3 readers, so anything you'd like for now)
Cozi (attaching image)
Pocket Informant
Waze
Since I don't see good generics for them. Very happy to add these to my icon collection since I tend to change icons every few months!
Edit: Regarding attachments, please use the the 3 little loops tings on Cozi (not the text), and likewise the little car for Waze. Actually, for Waze, may be better modeling off the icon I see on the appbrain page (http://www.appbrain.com/app/waze:-community-gps-navigation/com.waze)
We will update the pack as soon as they're done.
Sorry but how do I install these?
Copy the icons to your phone and download Desktop Visualizer from the market.
Thanks for sharing
Here are the requested icons by polstein.
I tested them on my phone and they look fine.
For the moment I can't add them to the pack but you will get them soon enough!
How can i resize them to 72x72(HDPI) without losing its quality ?

A number of different ways. Most common as mentioned is Desktop Visualizer. That's a widget that lets you pick an app/shortcut & use a custom icon. It also has an advantage that you can have it point to an generically named icon - then you can replace the icon, reboot & DV will show the new image. Very useful if you change icons every couple of months for fun!
(also why you might see me on several threads requesting the same icons over & over again
An easier way might be to use an app called Folder Organizer, which also allows you to change icons & text labels.
Advanced people can modify the apk of the install & change the icon, but has some drawbacks that go along with it. But it's also the only way I know of to change an icon everywhere (like in recent apps lists).

I see the new icons I asked for, they look very nice. I especially like the textured background on Informant. How many icons did you want to crank out? I always hate overloading designers, but if you're willing I'll keep handing out requests!
Keep on requesting. Don't forget to thank energizerpanda for his hard work. I am only with the organization and researching.

Looking good, downloading now!
can someone please make an lp pack out of these?
thanks for the hard work, always loved the anna icons
@cavihit - We're working on making a LauncherPro pack but we have to add more icons.
Latest icons:
Please help me with your opinion about these icons because I need to know if I can add them to the pack.
Icons look good! So far the only one I'm not thrilled with is Waze (more because of their cartoony look that doesn't match the rest of the set).
Something I noticed last night when I replaced some of the generic icons in favor of the correct app icon: Some of the original generics look better anyway!
F'instance, I was using the 'carhome' icon instead of Waze, but I think I'm switching back to carhome.
Another example is generic Music vs Winamp (currently on Winamp). Still another is Calendar vs Informant (currently using Calendar!)
Now in a couple cases I needed the specific app (like Cozi, and there wasn't an eBook one).
Of course, best of all worlds for me is to have options & change them when the mood strikes
I'm making every icon for its specific app. (If you use the Calendar app then you should use the generic icon found in the pack)
I hope you all understand that I try to create icons that are not in the pack and not to replace the generic icons. (Only if requested)
@polstein - Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm gonna post new icons when finished so please test them and reply!
Hello Guys!
I tried making a Sword Art Online Widget Interface on my HTC Incredible S running on ICS.
preview is attached below. i cant post any links since im new sorry for the inconvenience
2 main applications I used:
Apex Launcher: available on google play
Glaeja : available on google play.
*Apex Launcher works for ICS and Jelly Bean only i think
I recommend installing Apex Launcher first
Apex Launcher setup after installation:
(Not sure this will work though, since settings are from my phone)
1. Download all the attached files with apex on it. Copy on sdcard. (extract zipped files)
2. Move apex_settings.bak to /sdcard/Android/data/apexlauncher/
3. Open apex settings and go to backup and restore
4. Select restore.
Glaeja Setup after installation:
1. Create New Widgets on Home Screen. 1 4x1 Glaeja Widget for the hpbatterybar and 2 3x3 Glaeja Widgets for the bars.
2. Download the skins, images and font files and paste them to the corresponding folders found in /sdcard/com.gmail.kanitawa.glaeja/
3.Select the widgets on HomeScreen and click Load Skin, select the corresponding skin file.
4. Select None on the On Click option.
Notes:
Apex:
-Key Settings:
Number of Screens = 3
Transition Effect = None
Use Tablet UI Mode = unchecked
Minimum Scrolling Time = 2
Show Wallpaper = checked, Mode = Singlescreen
Glaeja:
-For the Name on HP bar just edit widget and then find the corresponding text with Shawn on it. Edit the Display Text. same goes for LV: __
-For Shortcuts of the bar, the shortcuts can be replaced on the Transparent Buttons found on the bar widgets.
There is also a video showing my work on youtube, it has poor quality but it satisfies it purpose. (again sorry for not being able to post links since im new)
Thanks guys! And I hope some people find this post helpful. Comments will be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE:
Uploaded missing file manager icon

How did you get the Apex buttons to open different Glaeja widget menus,as well as change to the yellow one when clicked? Or did you just make it look that way. Running on SGS3 with CM10.

Help
How exactly do you do all that you did to make it look the way it did in the images. I am completely lost in terms of what to do... I don't really know how to make anything come out as it should and after about an hour of messing around with everything I gave up on trying to figure out from the directions that were given... Can I get a step-by-step instruction as to how you set it up? thanks
Hey! Your SOA theme looks really amazing! I tried to set it up, but my apexlauncher wasn`t in the SC card?? Is there a different way to insert the settings into apex launcher?
Yea your instructions dont really help at all. Even had to create the folder for the apexlauncher but i somehow think that the settings backup didnt do anything at all. An howto would be very appreciated since it does look very good.

Just a heads up. You can use any images for the icons, any images for the widgets/text/etc. Once you grasp what is happening and put a lot of time into it, your imagination is the limit.
I'll try to explain what is happening here, that I see. I have a similar "tabbed' style setup on my tablet. I'm using Nova and a quick one button tutorial you can easily do to see what is happening goes as so...
1. Press and hold blank spot on screen, press Nova actions, then press jump to page, and select page 2 (this will be 2nd from the far left of your setup, adjust accordingly). Now you will have an icon on your screen.
2. Press and hold the icon, select edit and you can replace the icon with any image you see fit. Now you have your "button". For example sake, lets say you have an icon/text that you want to have media stuff brought up.
3. Now on page 2, which should be blank (no icon), you will want to make the same 'jump to page icon' again, this time in a color of your choice, so that it looks "selected." Obviously this means you will have to edit/color your image/text as you see fit. I colored my "media" icon text, the color blue for example.
4. Next up, now that you have a colored icon on screen 2, making it look selected, is to fill up screen 2 with media stuff. You can use the images he uses, or just widgets already in your phone, or the above glaeja app that looks like it can be useful here. Your widget can be text that has click actions, that open up apps etc. It looks like the OP has placed the arrow icon on this page as well as to give it more of a this is what you selected look. The options are endless.
So then you just repeat that process with icons on screen #1 that jump to the other pages of you phone, that have been edited to have the content on them you're going for. It's painstaking, but hopefully I've made a visual for you that sheds light on what is going on and once you grasp that, you can make anything.
Very creative work by the OP here, just wanted to share my thoughts for the last couple posters that are having a hard time. I can make a tutorial if necessary. :good:

Essentially, you are going to create all of your screens to have the 5 "button" vertical layout (or however you want it to be, 4 buttons, 8, etc). Your main screen, they will be all white it color (again whatever color you choose) and swipe one screen to right, have the same 5 buttons vertical, but the one icon you want to make look "selected" have it yellow, in this instance and also on that screen would be the corresponding widget with the images and icons/text you want to look like it opened. How this works it when setting launcher to no scroll on wallpaper, and setting the button as a widget action to turn to page '2', it flings the screens to screen 2, where one icon is "selected" and there is different content on the screen (the widget, ie looking like it opened a menu). search on youtube for tabbed setup for android and you'll see setups alike.

Kite UI Project (Theme elements for Android devices)
*Update on receiving a full version will be posted soon*

http://postimage.org/index.php?lang=russian

In front of you is reincarnation of popular user interface Kite UI.
Instruction on complete applying of elements:
1. You need launcher which replacement of standard icons is possible in. The theme was tested on Lightning Launcher,
which has necessary features: 1) possessing a large quantity of settings, it remains to be the fastest of offered on the Market. 2) Movement on the screen
can be carried out to the left, to the right, down, up and on a diagonal, in difference from other launchers, who offer transition between home
screens only by moving to the left and right.
After all that there is a question, what is Kite UI? How the movement on the screen should be carried out? If you saw a topic on xda-developers, you already
are familiar with structure. If not, I will tell you, it should be carried out comprehensively. Probably, with a little differences, than
in Lightning Launcher, but nevertheless, very approximately. Still App Drawer is built standardly in it.
Certainly, to achieve the necessary result in settings, you should spend a little time in settings of a launcher. From the most important points of
settings, I will note, in the line :Number of columns" it is necessary to put value 3, and in "Line height" - 75, if your screen has not got more or less than 3.5 inches.
Otherwise you should experiment with settings.
!!!. You can use any launcher for a theme, I only give advice. If you're not familiar with any of the launchers you can
just install a BetterCut app from the market.
2. You need to download the UltimateCustomClockWidget (UCCW) app to apply and issue the clock widget on the main homescreen.
3. Super Status Bar. Even with the trial version of this program, you will approach status bar of the phone to the status of a Kite bar as much as possible.
And everything is at a minimum of spent time. You don't need additional application of themes, which will be unlocked in the paid version. Standard design
is already approached. !!!. Similar programs, such as, for example, Status Bar +-Custom Status Bar are possible. But design of an appropriate look
I can not guarantee.
4. Music player. Not compulsory procedure. I looked long for it. I use TTPod with an orange standard skin, thanks to its fast speed of the circulation, the built-in 12-band equalizer, strengthening of basses, shake function imitation, and madly beautiful design.
5. Widget Locker. I included the backup settings of the application. Well, and Kite Locker certainly. So, I think it would not be a hard work to adjust it for long since everything here is provided by me.
It is necessary only to put icons and widgets there. As a clock for lockscreen for example I use UCCW too.
THE PAID ARCHIVE CONSISTS OF:
1. 40 Kite UI style homescreen and 49 app menu icons.
2. A Kite UI clock widget, with author's backup settings along with 50 day and 49 night weather skins.
3. Nearly 80 HD, FHD and UHD landscape and 16 abstraction wallpapers. The Kite design looks perfect with every of it.
4. Exclusive fonts to set up date, etc... including original Kite UI font ("kite" folder).
5. The well-known Kite UI LockScreen on the basis of Widget Locker. Simplicity and grace.
6. The well-known Kite UI wallpaper with the clouds, recreated most approximately to the original taking into account more than 80 layers of a photoshop. The original eclusive KITE UI wallpaper is also included.
7. Many variants of demo icons and weather skins, so you could see all the progress been maken.
The FREE v.0.7 of the theme consists of:
1. 10 Kite UI style homescreen and 50 app. menu icons.
2. A Kite UI clock widget, with author's backup settings along with 6 main day and 6 main night weather skins.
3. 33 HD landscape wallpapers. The Kite design looks perfect with every of it.
4. Original Kite UI font ("kite" folder).

As good as this looks, I think you should have a look at the rules on xda regarding paid apps. It's one thing to have a donation button, quite another to try and sell your theme here.
+1 on the previous post. Great idea but, in my opinion, its bad way to advertise the theme. Good luck though. I'd love to see the free version as per XDA rules.

Ok. I really appreciate some activity in the topic, as long as it good review or a critics.
1. As for XDA rules, I've read it. I didn't lie to anybody, so you get a full alpha of this work, which is not restricted by time limits or smth. to review it and make a choice of appreciate or not appreciate an author's work. Instead of donate version I just made a note of transfering a payment. I've done the analog of XDA conditions, not crossing it.
2. I started this work in early 2010. Since then there were a lot of re-doings and some new things, as programms needed for this are also newer now, so there was a huge progress to see, what you see now.
3. All the updates of work will be released free in this topic, so you support a lot of spent time. I tried not to make a monopoly of this work, so there is a free link also.
As the contest goes on, you can receive the full version for transferring a $1. Posted to cornelha, ncdub

I'm giving it a shot.
Initial feedback not even installing yet.....
1. I have to figure out how to install. I'm a relatively smart fellow, but I'm having to read the install instructions more than once to figure out what to do. From my experience most people don't spend a lot of time working to get a theme installing. Using themechooser or something similar and picking a theme that has been installed by an apk is the preferred method
I have purchased the full UCCW and have messed with my own designs so I'm not expecting any issues.
2. Download locations are the easiest or user friendly. It was easy for me, I have a multi-host download program I pay for and I use Internet Download Manger so it's a two click deal for me.
3. Good deal adding install instructions in rar file. That helps.
I've got it downloaded. I'm going to play with it on my stockish 4.3 ROM on my ATT Note 2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2704375
dicksteele, yeah, the main problem of the work that it is not in one easy apk.
Though I am not smart in coding, so everything is just a designer's work. I just was so excited by Kite interface, and dissappointed it wasn't released to a public, so I wanted to anyhow recreate it. How I could.
WORK If you could do some help with coding this thing, you can P.M. me to my e-mail address (entered higher) or to my XDA profile. That help would be appreciated.
Also, you can have the full theme according to contest rules.
Waiting for other posts...
feel free to P.M. an author.

Hello! I've been going around XDA looking for everything I can get to get as close as possible to Samsung's One UI, the new design language to be released alongside the Android Pie update. As most Samsung users may know the beta for Android Pie and One UI has been released for the Galaxy S9 and S9+, but not for any of the 8 models. Because of this I went on a search to skin my UI to the point that it might as well be One UI. (Aside from all the apps, unfortunately.)
I'm going to make a list including links to everything I've used to get to this point.
Before we get started, to install most of these leak apps, you'll need App Cloner, which is unavailable in the Play Store, so I've provided a download for the App Cloner I have. After installing this, we can get to the interesting stuff.
A reminder that all of this requires NO ROOT.

Here's the App Cloner link.
Mod Edit: Link removed
First off, we've got the most obvious (and easiest) one. Samsung Experience Home 10. This one just requires an app cloner install, fortunately though, XDA has already done that for us right here https://www-xda--developers-com.cdn....com/download-samsung-experience-10-launcher/
A big thanks to them for getting the cloning process over with. After downloading the apk file they've provided simply install it, clear the cache/data and set it as the default launcher. You should end up with something like the screenshots. I recommend the Home Screen Grid to be set to 4x6, and the App Screen Grid to whatever you like. I kept it large to have less pages to go through when searching for apps. I set the grid to 4x6 to further match the render from the One UI apps section on the samsung website.

Is there anyway to import your Home Screen setup from the old Samsung Experience?
Now we have the clock tweaks. This one will require substratum, so if you'd rather not dive into that stuff then feel free to skip this one. Substratum is free but Andromeda is paid so I've included my Andromeda apk.
The first one we'll want is called clock tweaks by @AL_IRAQI. Head over to this page to download it. https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/themes-apps/mod-center-left-clock-o-t3614824/
You'll want to select and install Left Clock under clock placement in System UI. This will give us the clock on the top left in the status bar, rather than the top right. The next tweak we'll need is called System Mods by Draco. In addition to what we'll be using this tweak offers various other changes, so I suggest you check some of those other ones out. You can get that here. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=substratum.draco.systemmods You'll want to install Remove Status Clock AM PM under System UI to remove the AM/PM next to the time. This one is purely optional, but it matches better the One UI render.
A trick I learned from another member named @dj_iiml is to uninstall all tweaks before rebooting as instructed, and then reinstalling them. Reboot after this and the overlays will stay even after a reboot. I also got the clock tweaks info from his thread here https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/themes/note-8-one-ui-look-how-to-t3867346

Is there anyway to import your Home Screen setup from the old Samsung Experience?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. Simply because the system doesn't see them as the same apps. I'll look into it and see what I can do.
Let's move on now to Pie system apps. Email, Calculator, Notes, Samsung Browser, Samsung Health and weather are the only ones I've gotten to work besides the launcher. Email, Calculator, Notes, Samsung Health, and the browser can all be installed from apkmirror, but the weather app needs to be downloaded from a ported dump and cloned. https://mega.nz/#F!j5pGSa4Z!wmDI6Ozacrq4yNBl4WlNgQ This is a link to the entire dump, if you want to experiment with other apps, otherwise https://mega.nz/#F!j5pGSa4Z!wmDI6Ozacrq4yNBl4WlNgQ!2th2TALZ is a link to the Weather app only. Just press open in browser to access them. Once you've downloaded the weather app, clone it in App Cloner, install it, and then manually allow all the permissions via settings, you CAN'T allow permissions through the app itself. You can then add a widget to the home screen. It will be the second weather option, because you'll have 2 weather apps. Credits to @corsicanu for the ported files, their original post is here https://forum-xda--developers-com.c...sung-pie-leaked-apps-ported-to-t3856098/page1
Finally we'll apply all the Good Lock 2018 changes. First you'll need Good Lock 2018 from Galaxy Apps. Once you have it downloaded there are 2 apps you'll need to download from inside the app. TaskChanger & LockStar.
First we'll use LockStar to edit the lockscreen. Pick any background you like, and any layout you like, because we'll be changing the layout in a bit. Once you have everything you want, including the clock, you'll want to tap Edit at the top right and arrange the clock and notification bubble like the screenshot below. After you've done this select the plus icon at the bottom right/left of the lock screen and pick what apps you want to be accessible from the lockscreen. Once you've done all this, go ahead and save & apply the lockscreen.
Now we'll move to TaskChanger. Switch it to 'In Use' and then select the scroll effect. I chose linear, but you can pick whichever one you like. Now switch 'Blur Background Effect' on. Now you're all set. You've finally gotten as close to Pie as possible before it's official release. If anyone has any suggestions for other apps or changes to make it even closer to One UI then write it in a reply. In my next post I'll write more optional, less important features that don't get you too much closer to One UI. Thanks for reading this thread and I hope all went well,
Cheers,

LESS IMPORTANT TWEAKS
ClockFace - Good Lock 2018
Clockface provides a few more options for the clocks on the Always On Display and lockscreen. None of them are the stock One UI clocks, but you might find them a little more similar to the One UI clocks.
One Handed Operation + - Galaxy Apps
One handed operation + provides gesture navigation, a feature that will be in One UI. The only problem? The bars are on the sides. This is the only reason I've included this in less important tweaks. In One UI the bars will be on the bottom of the screen, replacing the Navigation Bar.
Battery Percentage - Settings
In setting you can turn off the battery percentage under Display > Status Bar in Settings. It gives a cleaner Status Bar look, but it isn't required.
Search Bar - Google
Make sure you have the latest beta for the Google App installed, then go to the more tab in the app and select 'Customize Widget' select the color palette and then select the Black G on top of white. Then go back and select what looks to be a multi-colored water droplet, and then move the slider all the way to the left or to See Through. This will give your Google Search Bar on the home screen a more One UI look, but it isn't needed to sell the look.

This one will require substratum, so if you'd rather not dive into that stuff then feel free to skip this one. Substratum is free but Andromeda is paid so I've included my Andromeda apk.

Um. You do realise XDA isn't a fan of warez/cracked software.
