I've got a question.
Is this possible to change sound drive on my HTC Diamond for better quality?
I've got Sony DR BT 101 and on Diamond quality is bad, but on other phones like iPhone or Se W950 is great!
What can I do?

I don't know, I have no BT headset. But in "Advanced Config 3.3" unter Bluetooth/Bitpool, you can improve the audio quality ... just try it.

How is the sound compared to the original htc headset?
Original HTC headset are better, not much but better.
But I think that on others roms like Windows Revolution or Fire Rom quality on original headset was much better then on Etoy Rom.
Maybe this is a problem.

I took something good from my O2 XDA Flame.
It comes from wm5 device and works fine in my kaiser and Cruise. After the installation do a soft reset.
Go to System Settings, open WOW HD Settings, put in SRS TrueBass Speaker ---> Size 400Mz, put in WOW HD Settings ---> Normal and the SRS 3D Effect in 30%.

Does it only work on the headphones or does it work on speaker as well?
It'll be an amazing addition, it actually works unlike HTC equalizer and te other app floating around(forget its name) . But it does'nt work on BT, major drawback.

Just thought I'd post this as someone else might find it useful. I found the default performance of A2DP on the diamond 2 poor, so after a bit of searching on these forums I stumbled accross this link . So far there's been a marked improvement in sound quality.

thank you for that link!!! when i purchased my D2, I was very disappointed with sound quality after connecting my D2 with Nokia BH-503 (my previous phone was Nokia N73 ME)... But now is it perfect!

For me it's as good as a wired headset.
I have two files "Beatsv3.0.zip" and XSBeatsAudiov6.0_signed.zip, but when flash done then camera and phone app can't start.
Please help me

I install 1. then upgrade 2. on Sony Arc S. it' work very good, sound better than original.
I try install them on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7", sound better so much, but Phone and Camera is problems, it can't start.

I try install some another beats audio for samsung, but result sound is not better or sound no change.
even i buy Beat Audio Pro on google play, them is very bad, sound not better.
I see only 2 file that above is best. Sound very nice. that's real beats audio by dre.

My best guess is that they were built around the Sony platform. Anytime you flash something meant for one phone onto a completely different one, you definitely run the risk of breaking something! I will try looking at the files later and see what's up, but I'm leaning towards a comparability issue.
Just to give you more info.. the phones with built in Beats original programming have more than software. There's hardware to make it work as well. So software alone will not get you what you want. However, there are plenty of other options.

Today i compared the sound from my HTC One Speakers with them from a friend's HTC One.
I recognized that my Sound is not so loud like his Sound and also my speakers are sound muffled.
I thought that it was a Rom (Software-) Problem so i decided to reinstall my and his Phone with the Same Rom, Android Revolution HD 9.3
To exclude the problem from ARHD we also tried TrickDroid, OrDroid etc.
The sound of my speakers were every time lower than his Speakers...
Does anybody know this problem or have the same issue?
It would be nice if someone can help me.

I'd do a complete wipe n factory restore on both and test it when both units are identical stock, you may have gotten bad speakers and that's a simple replacement. Also make sure you're playing the same quality of song, I thought my speakers were bad until I realized that itunes had converted all my songs to a low quality

I also thought this but i checked and he didnt flashed it.
To get clearness i compared the sound of my Rooted and modified One with the Un-rooted and Mooded One of my dad.
His sound is also louder than mine :/

I believe sound was very loud on the launch rom that came on with the very first HTC ones. Lot's of people complaint it was too loud and supposedly HTC tuned the sound down. Might be wrong on this one though.
