it's too early to ask about gingerbread, we just got 2.2.1

Nothing official, but the Nexus has a better chance than most to get gingerbread...

Suppose you had gotten it for free and it came in a gift box with wrapping paper made of $100 bills?

OMG, sad. I remember your thread you created a day before when you were getting it. Why does Nexus did this to soo many customers. :'(

This program was incredible! took only a matter of minutes to get the phone rooted... Wish my Droid 4 had been that easy when I did it several months ago...

Honestly, I prefer black. Had iPhone 4S before so I was sick and tired of that bling-color. White looks alright too but I myself wouldn't choose it. But I guess I will also get tired on black one day too.

but is it JDQ39 or JDQ39E?
There are reports that at least some N4s recently shipped to india are running JDQ39E
Then nothing to see here. At least for me.
Just so I don't forget. Enjoy your new shiny toy man. It is a beast of a phone.

JDQ39E. Can u tell me the difference?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Well noone knows since noone else has it, could you go to fastboot and tell us what bootloader it has, and possibly make a nandroid of it to share?
Noone else has JDQ39E, nor will they from an OTA it seems

Fastboot. Turn phone off and then keep volume down pressed while pressing the on off button. This will take you into fastboot.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Turn phone off
Hold Power and volume down until fastboot screen appears
Tell us what the bootloader is, it should be MAKOZ10<something>
Have you installed/put stuff on your N4 yet?
If you dont have any data on your n4 I'd like to ask if you could unlock it and make a nandroid.
If you have gtalk/aim or can get on IRC, i can walk you though making a nandroid, it would be the safer way to do it

This really just shows that they're making huge progress on getting the update ready. I'll wait for the official in about a month.

Very true. But then again the so-called "carrier testing" seems to make up for all the speedy initial builds.
I am so flashing this on my Sprint HTC One with an iOS radio! Screw CDMA!

I know that this is an older thread, and that I'm kind of dragging up the dead, but... Was there ever any progress on getting this ROM ported over to the m7spr (or something comparable?) Last I heard, someone was working on it, but then it kind of died down... I really liked the look of this one.

Kitkat based MIUI released for Nexus 5

http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/development/official-miui-nexus-5-t2767284
Will anyone want to port it?. Nexus 5 version is working perfectly
Why does it need porting when the Nexus 4 is right here http://en.miui.com/getrom-75.html unless its that's not KitKat :/
