I bought my Milestone in Canada from Telus. The touch screen stopped responding to touches, so I need to get something fixed. I am living in Chiang Mai in Thailand right now, and I am having a devil of a time finding a anyone who can help me get the phone serviced. Are there any Thai users of Motorola phones that know where I can get my Milestone repaired? Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Leif

Hi,
I'm having trouble with my touchscreen and want to send it in for repairs. Unfortunately, i bought my phone off an Internet Vendor in America and HTC America says:
"The P3600 is a European model that isn’t support by HTC America (we do not have the resources yet). Please contact HTC Europe to see about Repair options"
IF anyone have any experience in sending your phone in for repairs in a country other than the one you bought your phone in, pls advise for the following:
1)Will they honour the HTC warrenty if you send it to another country's service center even if you didn't purchase it from that country?
2)Do they accept mail-in requests for repairs?
3)Do you have to pay return postage?
I am also asking HTC europe, but i figure i might get a faster and more accurate response here, so many thanks in advance
My old imate phone had to be shipped to Dubai for repairs, it went pretty smoothly, and they paid for shipping there and back.
Not sure about HTC.
The same problem for me
I have exactly the same problem, and HTC Europe told me that the only way to fix the problem is with the repair centre nearest to America, but im actually not in America, so my problem is worst. Im in latin america, in Colombia and I dont know what to do with this screen blocking problem that is driving me crazy.
So if there are somebody to help us to contact HTC in other way, I really appreciate.
Hello,
Unfortunately HTC has no repair centre in America for P3600, the only solution for you is to refer to this repair centre in the UK. HTC is sorry about the inconvenience.

Hi Guys..... I have a Diamond, that was purchased in Australia, but the phone originated from Hong Kong...
The touchscreen function on it died a few weeks ago, and I have been notified by HTC Aus that they dont cover it under warranty (I was told it had international warranty by the seller)....
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? I dont mind sending the phone to HK to get it fixed, I just dont know how to go about it.... or who to contact?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dekkarr

Dekkarr: I've had a similar problem with my Diamond. I did a Hard-reset and problem solved.
Hi everyone,
I just need help with my HTC dream. Here's the situation:
I bought an HTC dream from Canada (Rogers locked). Now I bring the phone back to Hong Kong using service provider PCCW. I rooted the phone and also did a sim-unlock. However, when I was in Canada, I was able to use 3g speed but now when I am back in Hong Kong, I can only get 2g speed. Can anyone help me to resolve this problem?
Thanks.
That's probably because the frequencies they use over there are different. If that's the case then there's really nothing you can do... except get a model that's for use in that region.
Hi there, International Galaxy Note community. I have a question I'd like you ask about when purchasing the International Note for use in North America.
Is there a valid warranty for the international Note if I purchase it in a different country and then use it in North America? Specifically Canada. If there is a valid warranty for the Note in Canada, can someone provide me with the terms of the warranty when in Canada?
Thank you for your help, International Note community.

Good luck with that one....
I have just spent the last 3 months searching for usb ports and mainboards, repair shops in Canada, Europe and the U.S., Ebay for for broken N7000s and getting things working on Bell's network. And as of 15 minutes ago, I'm finally done fixing the last detail on the Note, and its back to normal. But what an ordeal it was...
Somebody else can tell you about the warranty. But you're probably on your own with this one. So your options if you have a hardbrick;
Search threads for a successful recovery..
Jtag repair...http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-galaxy-note/
Ebay (like me..) for a broken screen N7000, which I used to replace my the motherboad and USB port. Mine was $265...
I would say hunt for a M/B. But the search was long, with many dead ends (Europe) and language barriers (India and Asia). And there are repair shops in Europe, but no shop will ship a phone via air (Thanks to 9/11).
Hope this cuts down on some of your search to repair your Note.

Oh, no. I don't have a damaged Note. I was just looking to purchase one since I'm somewhere in Asia and have the possibility of picking up the international version. I just wanted to know about possible repair options if it ever did break.
So pretty much if I purchase a Note and it breaks down one day, then I am on my own. Correct?

Hi, Im Penny, from Venezuela and I have a nice-but-not-so-nice Galaxy Note N7000.
So, this phone I got is from Europe, and I need to replace the motherboard because I have emmc bug, with only 8GB of usb storage and 200MB in /data. Problem is that I gave my phone to a Samsung Service Center from my city, and they told me they cant replace my Note motherboard because it doesn't belong to SELA (Samsung Electronics Latin America) so when putting my original IMEI into the new motherboard this will not accept it.
So they told me I need another motherboard... So here is my question: Which board I will need? I really have no idea from which country my phone is. Will I need to buy a new one from any country in Europe or I will need exactly one from the country which belong? If thats so, How Can I know which country is? and where can I buy it?
I have some possibility of buying the motherboard on Italy, but will this board accept my IMEI when replacement?
Hope can someone try to answer my question. Kisses and all
hi, try to get csc, dial *#06# for emei, then dial *#272*youremeihere#.
then you know which country. Best you contact that country.
Weird story from Samsung Latin America. Can not believe it.
Anyway all phones have brickbug, but is yours bricked? I dont think it is.

Its was bricked, but I repaired with pit method, but 5 months ago its getting worse, sometimes it wipes data suddenly, got only 200MB for installing apps, etc, is getting too annoying. Its freezes like 8 times per day, some apps doesn't work, etc.
Thats what my center said and I thought it was actually pretty weird, but I need to know If I need to buy from that country or any on europe, cuz right know I can buy only from Italy, and I don't know if it will work, or if Samsung is lying to me actually.
