Hey, as you rightly said, I did this ages ago for my Nexus One. I'm afraid I haven't kept up with how to do these on newer devices, so I can't really help.
It's just a zip file though, so all the images are in there for you to make your own boot animation from it if you want and can find out how. It wasn't difficult for the N1, so I can't imagine it'd be too difficult for anything else either

agree, im running slidemeroot5r1 and we dont have boot animations. so im not going to swtich to a nandroid just to try, anyone have a gif of it ?

Steps for Nexus S installation:
1) Download file
2) Rename to bootanimation.zip
3) Copy to system/media/
The boot animation should then work!

I believe in simplicity. And since I flashed an awesome stock GNeXus ROM on my RaZr...I thought it was incomplete without a proper bootanimation...
so here it is. I made it myself...but how to make this my boot animation..

It's pretty cool huh? It's simply part of the LG launcher. I know people were trying to port it to the Nexus 5(the unlock effects) but I don't think they were successful. I don't want people with Samsung phones to have it anyways!

No, is an addition for flex
I got a lg g2 and that effect isnt here..vthe only difference is a swipe called moebius.. Is that?
