Is my OMNIA dead ?

Hi Guys,
I have a Samsung Omnia that won't boot anymore.
First I see the Omnia logo followed by the red vodafone screen. After that the phone just reboots again and again and again.
The phone was just standing on the table doing nothing, suddenly the phone went of and keeps rebooting.
Is there anything I can try to do to fix it ?

Remember this is an HTC ONLY FORUM so not too much support will be found

Your phone is bricked. Search in gsmhosting forum for member ELCO- he can help you. Also somewhere saw cables for flashing i900 with NsPro.

Bricked? Exclamation Point Between Phone + Computer

Hey guys,
Did I brick my phone or is there a way to fix this? I'm stuck on a screen with a small exclamation point between a phone and a computer. (It's not the download screen).
Can't get into DL mode with the three button method it seems.

Sorry a little off-the-model topic - Spica. But serious help needed here!
The computer had a blue screen mid-flash (god bless MS) and now the phone is nothing but a small orange icon which has a computer and a mobile connected by a yellow exclamation mark icon.
Is it like properly bricked?
What can I do?
I was reading this thread. Can I use the tools given here on a Spica? - Can I use this on the Spica? If at all, how? I can't even get into download mode!

i believe adb can be used on the galaxy spica. look in spica forums around the internet for instructions, i think it can be fixxed

Easy Solution
If ur mobile is still detected by odin then just flash a working kernel not the stock..u will be back to download mode in couple of seconds.Just flash using pda.Thanks

[Q] I9305 stay on logo , problem with mount EFS. How to repair it?

Hello everyone
I've got problem with my I9305 lte. I bought it from my friend. It was working fine till my friend try to root phone with software dedicated to i9300. Galaxy right now stay on logo , goes in recovery mode and download mode. In a photo you can see cause of this thread.
I tried to flash oryginal software by Odin. Everything looks fine. Odin doesn't see any error. Galaxy still stay on logo with red error in recovery mode. I don't have backup with EFS folder... If it help i9305 is from vadofone Germany.
Could anyone help me ?

And next time, read everything you can before you stuff around with something! Damn, the first thing I did was backup my efs folder :banghead:

I was looking for motherboard for i9305 on ebay etc. but there is nothing...

So you have no backup of the efs folder, a phone that won't boot properly, and you obviously didn't read your link properly either.

Could you post a fix mate on how you sorted your problem? I have an S3 with the same issue - failed to mount efs. I have a back up of my efs folder on my PC.

I should begin with explaining my problem first.
The phone would not boot,charge or show any signs of life.
I had another S3, so i swapped the battery over and to my surprise it came on.
Luckily i could boot into download mode.
Moving onto how i sorted it.
First i went here

and downloaded, extracted and flashed the Param_Bin_I9305.zip .
I then went here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2023527
and flashed all 3 sections (phone/pda/csc)
and hey presto all was sorted.

Thanks for the quick reply mate. Will this work on my International GTi9300 do you know? Sorry I should have said that earlier. I've had all previous versions of the Galaxy models and never got a problem like this.
One guy above says a new motherboard is the only option, I left mine in for repair and because the custom binary was at 2 the warranty was Void. So they quoted me €150 just today. I can't afford that at the moment. But after so many searches here on XDA, it seems some people with the same issue as myself have managed to fix it. Thats why i am a bit sceptical, because I have my EFS folder backed up. Maybe it might work.
I should have my phone back on Monday so if you think this will work on mine I will give it a go and let you know?

Sorry to hear about your problem.
I did this on a I9305 which is very different to the standard I9300.
These files and methods i used are **ONLY FOR THE I9305***
The only reason i had the problem in the first place is that i flashed I9300 software onto a I9305.
Sorry i cant be of any more help but i am sure if you head over to the i9300 q+a section, someone is bound to know what you should do.
PM me with your exact issue and what you messed up on and i will try and see if i can find some helpful info

Corrected (formats) efs folder makes it empty
and the phone turns on

My i9305 is in bootloop on yhe samsung logo. Every ROM i put tought odin goes right, then loop again.

Yes.... The chap on eBay who saved himself 200 quid after he agreed to sell his phone to me extra cheap but managed to fix it after I told him to have 1 last try with this method. elf

hey guys Im back to ask for help

hey guys, im back, well to those who remembered me here (only few knew me so it wouldn't be a surprise if y'all forgot me) nice, im not gonna make this long so I hard bricked my phone, like it only shows mediatek device, it pops in my computer and it pops right out, idunno, its like that bricked of a phone mine is, it was because of my mistake months ago but I was tired to fix it so I didn't. But now I'm back so I can try to resolve the problem if it can be resolvable.
What I did to my phone before it bricked:
*I tried to downgrade my phone and it failed, it was the right model and when I downgraded it, it failed, my phone's version is 12.5 so....
*Now it shows up to my computer as a mediatek device I forgot since I reformatted my computer and now, its unrecognized soo im going to download some drivers
*Is this even fixable yet, its hard bricked, I can't manually try to magiiically type little characters and swung it back to recovery mode sooo... ya, that's it.

U can't but u can ask one of staff members to do it for you

Question Bricked S21 Ultra

Hi guys,
like the title says I think ive accidentally bricked my S21 ultra and was wondering if anyone could give me a hand restoring it?
I was in the middle of flashing Magisk through ODIN when my laptop died and now im stuck with a message saying " An error has occurred while updating the device software" and im unable to access recovery mode or the download mode.
Any help restoring my device will be greatly apprecited,

Why would people ask him so he would have to spend time on explaining to numerous people??
Make the small effort and write the freakin' steps here so people who have bricked their devices and are freaking out, could search and quickly find the phone-saving steps here! Without having to contact another member and wait for his respose...

I've had this error previously due to a similar issue (cable fell out in the process of an Odin flash) but was able to get into download mode to restore stock. You sure you were performing the steps properly from a powered off state? Namely, making sure you connected a USB cable before pressing the button combination?
I'm not sure if you paid for the fix you had performed, but it would be a shame if it was unnecessary.

I do have my s21 Ultra bricked, and would love some help
