Yeah i tried that lock screen and it just keeps soft bricking my vibrant, and i am on JI6 so that one doesn't work on JI6. I also tried to do it via adb and all i get is can not copy to /system/framework/ read-only file system.

I'm having the same error... When I run adb while I'm in recovery I get permission denied. I'm not able to adb remount either.
Can't seem to get it to push

I hate TW lockscreen. Definitely looking forward to this. Seems like there are a few problems now and I'm not brave enough since I'm new to adb so I think I'll wait.

I was able to push it without a problem, I've even tried in root explorer... but it's rebooting without any changes. Is this for oxed or deoxed file systems?

[Q] Can't connect to any computer

I can't connect to any computer with my SGS. I've done a factory reset and after that i couldn't connect it to the computer. I can't come in to recovery mode either. I've tried on 3 computers and everyone's the same. All drivers are installed. What to do?

Have you downloaded it & what program are you using to open it?
281 people have downloaded & used it & not one person has asked for a password, because I don't password protect my files.
A BIG SORRY. That was one file that I put a password, its ragin, my name. Really sorry about this.
I am going to correct it.

I hade original-rom and cwm was installed. I went into cwm and made factory reset and cleaned the memory, so there's nothing on the phone. Now I just want to start the phone in download-mode and flash in a firmware with odin.

A word of caution, most users experience failure due to improper Fastboot driver installation. It's more likely you will have to install the fastboot driver manually. So be sure to install them when your phone connected in ADB mode (or when your PC asks you to).

But, for some reason it did not work for me. (i am on ESA-XXX V20A)
So, follow this tutorial..
The same tutorial is explained in an easier (noob-friendly) way here.. :good:
After unlocking bootloader, install CWM Touch Recovery 6.0.3.1.. (.img included in the thread itself)
I have tested it myself and it works flawlessly..

The official method worked for me. Incredibly easy to do.
Anyway, the best way to unlock the bootloader is via Ubuntu or similar Linux OS.
No need to install drivers. You only need the Android SDK.

After all android is unix-based, too..

Because of the password to extract on that mp1 fastboot file i will delete the file.already asking meetohack and its cost about usd100 to bypass/crack password and i cant afford it.sorry guys but you can use the tools for unlocking bootloader or flashing twrp backup.

Clean flash with TWRP -> flash ROM with TWRP -> flash boot.img with TWRP = DONE

Please unzip the rom file and restore via twrp, you will finish mp3. We have this MP3 editing, no personal optimization, personal account .. like the mp3 lock screen activation account shared earlier by Mr. Fros one

Late to the party atrix hd boot failure

I'm stuck with a boot failure on my atrix hd. I rooted my phone with motochopper I believe. I think i made a backup of my phone. I installed TWRP. Not sure what else I did but I think that was about everything. I've got got RSD lite and the motorola drivers installed on my computer. All the boot options go to the same boot fail error. Thanks for any help. @sd_shadow

RSD Lite doesn't work well with anything higher than Windows 7.

This is so over my head. I'm waiting on the stock site to clear. I've been reading on the editing the xml file. I'm not sure what I would need to edit. I'm gonna try to download the file again tomorrow and go from there.
