Hi everyone,
recently, i themed my notification bar using this method...
what i did was made a back up of my original Services.jar and Framework-res file first..THEN i used those and copied over images that i want to use.. so i ONLY altered the files that were to be replaced and didn't touch anything else..when i pushed them onto my phone, the below happened... (everything else is fine though).

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I dont' know why the CLEAR button and the NOTIFICATIONS title is now replaced and messed up...anybody have an idea??
note: i posted on droidforums.net as well.... and i'm trying to get as many possible answers as possible...
anyone????

Im trying to change the text color throughout the htc contacts. any ideas are welcome. I've been told that this is not an easy task. First of all the xml files are spread throughout the HtcContacts and HtcResources files so ive been told. i dont know which xml files they are but would like to. ive been looking but not sure and dont like changing things that i dont know what they are. Also was told that since the main text is controled by an xml file in HtcResources that it could be redirected via smali files but i dont know how to do that.
Anyone with experience please help. Trying to get my theme to look correct for the next version release and right now its so hard to read...see attached pic

hello everyone, I've finally been to able to change my notifications screen to the way I want it minus ONE LITTLE detail.... I need to find the name of the .png (if there is one) included in the picture. Also I'm pretty sure the rest of the info is correct but if I am wrong please let me know!

title_bar something, if I remember right... everything else is correct
I see 4 different title_bar somethings...
title_bar_medium.9.png
title_bar_portrait.9.png
title_bar_shadow.9.png
title_bar_tall.9.png
i'm thinking its title bar medium but not entirely sure... what are the other .pngs functions?

Ok. I have been trying to theme/mod the TW program monitor widget for a few days now. I got as far as the screen shot above. I was able to edit the .png files and now I want to edit the color of the number on the widget as you can see its still green. Also I was able to mod this far without a computer using strictly my fassy. So if your gonna throw some wimdows softwares at me can you please let me know where to locate them. Any help is appreciated I am noobish to all this, Thanks.

For the life of me I cannot figure out where the image or XML lies to change the indicator color under the toggles.
I have spent 7+ hours looking in framework, systemui, settings to no avail, I've changed images, made edits with no outcome of changing the color.
If anyone at all knows how to do this, please reply

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Thanks, thats what it should be, but any changes to them do nothing.
It turns out there is only one image to make a change and thats, stat_bgon_custom.9.png with that you can only control the unselected color.

here is my mms.apk
you'll have to edit conversation_etc_etc.xml thats located in layout folder..Also listselect_background in drawable folder..
I could have the names a bit off its all by memory.
