ROM and basic knowledge support

Hi all ,
I am new for this ROM Dev , but i want to understand whats going on .
so i have some questions i guess are simple for you guys .
1. what content is inside the ROM ?
2. can i do a backup to a ROM ? like the ROM i have right now on the HTC ?
3. how can i create ROM myself ? or change existing ROM ?
this is for creating support to another lang for a ROM i will like .

Try to search before opening a new thread.

Careful
if you setup new windows mobile .... your windows (Current version) old Stale ..... will remove for ever even you try to backup or reset the new windows will back not old

Cooking own Rom

Hey All,
Can someone tell me how to cook my own ROM, is there a link where i can download the clean version off windows mobile ? and install and customize my own ROM? hope someone can help me.
and how to create a image from it?

you really need to read the forums more

Indian stock rom.help needed to build.

Hi,
I am from india.
long ago i dumped my stock Rom in case i need to revert to it.
Now its the time i want it but i dont know how to build it.
I tried it reading some tutorials but failed,the rom wont after the "smart mobility" screen.
So i want ask that will anyone will create the rom for me?
i will upload the part0 part1 part3 files if someone is intened to build.
Also there is no Indian rom in the stock rom collection so we will have it there too.

Thanx for ur reply.
I tried every asian rom there but none of them is like my stock rom.
If u know how to make .nbh from part0,1,2 files plz do it for me.
i also tried to do it but the rom hangs at the "smart mobility " screen as i stated above.

for India u need 1.40 rom look in the shipped rom site is availble
give me some time ill give u the same but i need some time maybe till sunday as im quite busy now

I just wanted to ask, if anybody of the Devs in this Forum
could Please make a Tutorial, about how to Port a Rom.
I often tried to Port "WP7 UI" Rom to Galaxy Mini but i always Failed

I ask for this Tutorial, because there arent any Windows Phone Roms in the
Developement Section and this one seems very Good & Stable.
So Please, can anybody make a Tutorial how to Port this Rom right,
so i can Port this Rom ???

Can this brick my phone?

If you make no Mistakes at Porting this cant brick your Phone.
But if you Flash the Ace Rom to your Galaxy Mini then it can Brick.
So, if someone of the Developers can write a Porting Tutorial i will
port this Rom, so you can use it on your Galaxy Mini.

There are some port tutorials available in fit section...

Yes, but this Tutorial hasnt worked out for me.
I tried to Port the WP7 and the Lewa Rom with this tutorial,
but it crashed at the Bootscreen.
By the Way,do somebody know, how to resize the Framework res.apk ???

Extract drawable-mdpi/hdpi out of framework-res.apk and resize every png

I did it! The Rom is Booting, and Works pretty Good.
Sometimes it Reboots, but it isnt nasty.
I used Feras.Rehman's Tutorial and Resized the Framework.

so basicly is there anyone have this test os11 version! with `128gb rom etc
