Many thanks! It works great!
AWESOME! I'll be using this now!
I have to say, that site above is the coolest thing since sliced bread. I just made a custom rom with it and it worked flawlessly.
Just sharing the love It's a great find, I've spreading the link around.
Are you guys using this on CM6? I tried it and it did not work :/ any tips ?
I too am running CM6, but I am getting FC on apps like ROM manager, and certain settings windows like User Interface.
Any ideas?

Which nightly are you running, as I don't have the same Kernel version as you. I am running 2.6.69.6. It works, just features in Settings keep force closing.

Message from Mendozinas on the other thread:
sorry for all, we have some server side isues and all coocked files are corrupted.
You can get a lot of FC's and corrupted Ringer volume progbar.
we will fix this ASAP.

I will try again later, and advise if I still need help.
Ok so im running CM6 6.0.2.1 "stable" from 9/12 I believe. it is not a nightly.
I downloaded the rom, extracted the res file and I got an error after the zip was compiled (at the pick up site)
after that I tried it with the res provided for cyanogen roms and it compiled fine, I installed it fine. When i rebooted I got a red circle with an exclamation mark.
i am getting the rom manager force close as well on liberated... not a major deal ... everything you can do in rom manager you can do in clockwork... back ups and restores...but on a lighter note i love the site cooked me up a nice little meal there... although after i d/l my framework res file and installed it the UOT Kitchen went offline at 2:30pm PST on 10/13/10 with a statement of
"Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen
We are sorry, server experience some technical problems.
All coocked files are corrupted.
You can get a lot of FC's and corrupted Ringer volume progbar.
We are fixing this now. Kitchen will be online ASAP.
Follow us at XDA:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=775970"
may want to redo your meal there after things get back up
ok update... UOT kitchen is back up and i redid my meal and no more force closes!
Tried this again today, worked perfectly with the CM6 liberty res file.
I imagine that we can use this for the Liberated ROM as well? Been wanting the sort circle battery for a while, will get rid of the widget fire me.
I think I'm getting way ahead of myself, but is this only for rooted Aria's? Or can I use the kitchen to customize my stock phone?
Give me a tiny break, okay, I was using a Moto RAZR 2 less than 48 hours ago!

I think you're right... I had come to the same conclusion earlier today. Thanks though!
so, im running CM6.1.0 RC
every time i upload my framework (which is custom), i am getting an error log file and it will not work for me!
-sighs-
all i want is a circle battery... it would take me a year to edit the files!!
UOT with FR008
Hi,
With FR008, I could not get it to work after I download the UOT ROM (with circle battery only) and installed it through clockwork, I managed to get to this message "Installing: SDCARD:UOT-.....zip.... Install from sdcard complete". But whenever I selected "go back", my screen would go blank and I could not get to the reboot menu.
Please help.

i have already tried adding the htcmusic.apk/and .odex to the 0.7 it wont even boot
fix is not using 0.7 the deodexed apks makes it slower anyways, maybe the optimized pngs makes up for it though
you could install the music app from the nexus one, i saw it floating around one of the forums. it does work on ivans 7 rom. that would prolly be the easiest fix.

Today we released Ruby 1.1.1 for the Incredible, with it we did our best to knock out all the major bugs that we seem to have overlooked on our initial release.
All fixes include:
GPS
Bluetooth(we thought was fixed but have had reports to the contrary)
Camera/Camcorder
Media Scanning
Download Links for all roms are now available at Http://wiki.ccroms.net
Work Around for RomManager issues:
RomManager has been causing issues for both Sapphire and Ruby users by applying the downloads out of order, the best way to work around this is to use RomManager download the files, and manually apply the downloads in recovery.
all downloads should be applied in this order: wipe>rom>gapps>boot and allow phone to load>reboot into recovery>apply theme
boot and allow phone to load>reboot into recovery, can be removed from the process but should you run into problems add those steps back in to see if the problem resolves.
For announcements,
CCRoms is now accepting code contributions. As we continue to grow adding more devices it keeps getting more difficult for only cvpcs and I to get everything going on the device and actually get features and bugs worked out. So now we are asking you guys to help with that.
The procedure to do so is just like cyanogenmod, fork our repo and make changes and submit a pull request.
All of our code is available at http://www.github.com/cvpcs
Also we managed to get a Droid X, here is a video of it shot by me on Ruby 1.1.1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpMLpXxyje8
Some screenshots would be great.
Anyways... Downloading, wiping, and installing.
Excellent work on Ruby!! This rom is the fastest, smoothest rom on the incredible yet, and it isn't even overclocked!!!
Looking forward to future development and what it will bring.

Keep getting a FC on the Dialer every half a second.
*EDIT*
Nevermind.
Err, how does one get the Market app?
Same issue.... dialer fc? Had to go back to a diff. ROM...
So far so good...the only problem is that the roaming indicator is always on in the notification bar. Did a *228 and rebooted etc, but it is still there. Annoying but not a deal breaker. Have to say a favorite for me so far.

Love the ROM. One problem I have had is the Roaming indicator is always on. Unfortunately, it's a deal breaker for me. I'm in an area where I do roam at times and I need this to be accurately reflected in the status bar. Keep up the great work!
Does the Ruby rom not come with any backgrounds? It still has my CM6 background i had. I did a wipe/clean before install. When i find background and select wallpapers there is nothing but a black one and a multicolor.
Just curious if there is any Ruby background or anything i can download.
If you don't have gapps, download the zip, place on sd card, and install with recovery.

I was having the same problem. The first time I downloaded it was with RomManager. I downloaded the rom, a theme and gapps and tried to install all in one go.
Dialer FC's.
So I then got the rom and gapps, installed and booted, then got a theme and installed separately and everything works great.

Any help would be appreciated.
I just flashed Ruby 1.1.1 (w/ fresh wipe). I booted it up and starts up okay, then get to the setup screen with a FC saying, "The application Dialer (process com.android.phone) has stopped..".
Any ideas? Should I wipe and re-flash 1.1.1 or is there an easy fix?
Edit- saw the posts above. Will try no theme.
Edit2- works without a theme =)
Does this require a full wipe before installation?

You should be fine to use this mod with that setup, the incompatibility only rears its head when running full JI2/JI4/JI5 roms, since at the very least, framework-res.apk, android.policy.jar, and services.jar were updated/modified in those roms.
cheers
Nice, modified it with the files from the blue circle battery mod, and it's working good so far

Likewise, I played with this earlier today and had no FC issues when receiving texts using any lockscreen.
Just to double check, try clearing your cache and dalvik-cache, and to triple-check, you are running a JFD based rom, right?
This won't work on any of the leaked JIX series rom's, including the new Bionix 1.5. It also likely won't work on any of Eugene's hybrid of franken-twiz series rom's.
Cheers
yep, running JFD. didn't see it happen, just know that I heard a text come in, and then when I went to check it a couple minutes later, it was already bootlooping.
I have notifications from the stock messaging app turned off as I use chomp. Do you think that could be the issue? (I see you have the stock messaging app in your screenshot)
Also, I went back looking for the old zip with the Glass/Androind/Fascinate lockscreens and saw you'd taken it down. Is that one still available anywhere?

I'm using Pauls Pre-bake. Worked the first time for me but I did it in the most round about way ever! Probably due to me flashing the ROM and theme before my morning coffee..
I doubt any of the sequence I did played a part in getting it to work..but here goes
1) Titanium backed up my user apps
2) Booted into recovery, did a full wipe and flashed Paul's pre-baked R4 ROM.
3)Booted back into the phone, changed the date/time to the correct one, and pulled titanium backup from the market.
4)Did a titanium restore(only user apps)
5)Noted everything was working fine with the new ROM and rebooted into recovery again (to flash the theme)
6) Now here;s the doozy, intending to flash the theme I flashed Pauls rom again!
7)Had to wait for the ROM flash to finish and flashed the theme immediately after.
8) booted back into the phone and everything worked.
I seriously doubt you have to do it the way I did for it to work, but i figured I should included my flashing steps just in case you wanted to know

This is the TW launcher that comes with the SGS2. After several logcats and swapping out some methods with our stock twlauncher it finally works!
Video of launcher here (not on the fascinate): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1050666
What files are included: twframework.jar, framework.jar, Touchwiz30Launcher.apk, libglcanvas.so and some TW widgets. Also included Voice Translator
This should work on any ed01/ec01 based rom.
Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for bad things.
Known Issues [Updated 4/30]: Remember this is an early release and wasn't intended for 2.2.
-Menu button on homescreen seems to take alittle bit to become active on boot
-Long press for widgets takes a bit on boot
-On reboot I've had it take a long time time to bring the launcher up (stuck on bootup logo) but it eventually comes up (WORKAROUND: Don't set a homescreen, select homescreen on boot)
-Widgets don't always come back on reboot
-Long press widgets FC
Update[4/30]
-Fixed FC on manage applications
-Removed Share App via in app drawer, now has List View (I've gotten FC when using back button after launching app from this view)
-Merged Home Button fix in from i9000 guys

Update:Looked for the files in the zip in my system via root explorer and none of the files got flashed for some reason. Moving files manually to their locations via ADB. Will update once completed.
Update2:After moving files in recovery via ADB the phone stuck in a boot loop. So it is still not working.

I wonder if 2.5.x is having issue flashing the edify script. If thats the case I can throw together an ammend one but I'd prefer to not have to

I got it to work. I made a nandroid then flashed (which may be the reason why it didn't flash? I don't know.). I went back into recovery, flashed it one more time and it worked.
Updated to the newest TWM. then flashed with the edify script. Worked out for me this time. Pretty sweet so far. I know it is early in its stages and not meant for 2.2 but it FC's a lot. (Whenever hitting the home button.)
Also the setup I was using, I was on Deodexed ED01. When in the launcher program itself if i hit the home key it would crash. If i was in an app it would go to the launcher.
Thanks again for all your hard work. Hope to see more of this it looks like it rocks.

Sounds one of the bugs, it stays on the android screen and eventually the screen goes to sleep. The lockscreen is actually active in the background so if you push around it'll eventually unlock and come back .

Plug your phone into your PC and assuming you have the use of adb do
adb logcat > logcat.txt
from a terminal or cmd prompt, then ctrl + C after you have gotten the FC or want to stop the log dump.
This is nice, I like the old touch wiz better but I might keep this. I see in the video of that guy having it, the tracking indicator is balls and his applications icon is the same from the original touchwiz, in this one the indicators are squares and the application icon is different, why so? Guess you must have ported the edited version, If you could get the normal version and possibly with the new sgs2 icons, that would be beastttt
