Hey today i changed my rom from cyanogenmod 6 and was trying to install the black and gold theme. I went ahead and did a factory reset and i cleared my dalvik cache but now my phone is stuck on a boot loop. When i go into recovery its a white screen that says clear storage. I tried that and still get stuck in a boot loop. If someone could help me with this problem it would greatly be appreciated.
sounds like the theme didn't work... if you made a nandroid backup, restore to that otherwise you can reflash the rom and that should fix it for you.
to get to recovery hold home and power. i have heard that other people have used volume down and power. home+power works for me.

I tried updating tot he aero theme. and now, the android logo stays on the screen during the boot. I tried taking off the battery and rebooting. the logo is animating. please help. what do i do. im a noob at this. thank you.
You may need to boot into recovery and wipe the phone. So home+power to boot up, then alt+L and then alt+w if your apps were not backed up to the sd or whatever, you will have to reinstall everything from the market, but least it should get you back up. =)
My phone all of sudden is stuck on loop boot screen. The Galaxy Black and white screen comes with the galaxy s swirl screen, then the 3g network logo comes on, music file plays, then it starts over again.
Didn't do anything new to the phone, phone has been fine all this time.
Have voodoo lagfix on the phone installed with froyo, which was then updated to gingerbread. After which it had been working fine for last two months, no porblems.
Have gone into recovery mode, wiped cache and dalviks cache, but still no luck. Have disabled lagfix, still no good. Have wiped data/factory reset, no luck still. It just keeps repeating the boot scene over and over again.
anyone have any ideas?
Can you get into Download mode? If so, flash back to stock using Odin.

So just now I wanted to install a custom rom since mine was bugging out. By mistake I wiped the phone(including System), so stuck in bootloader I tried to flash a rom which failed, then trying to get back in recovery I pressed up volume, and now I'm stuck in boot loop.
Also a Few Facts- I broke my Volume Down Button(That means I can't get back into bootloader)
Any Suggestions? Pls

Click to collapse
It's ok that you wiped System, you should always wipe system, the only solution is to repair the Volume Down Button
my mini s3 was with lolipop rom downloaded from maclaw.pl and i factory reset it
and when it restarted the teamwin logo appears an goes
again appears and goes
please help me
Same here. Same software, same procedure, same problem
Even same day! :/
EDIT: Tried to upload TWRP again, worked so far, but I still have the same error
Same Here Dude
Yeah I am too waiting for solution. When the admins or experts will reply this..
So tried of trying every solutions
i too tried clock work recovery but the screen goes blank after samsung booot logo appears after flashing cmw
i think there is bug in lolipop version
and i am regreting why i have factory reset :'(
Here is the solution.
Go to http://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/q...-zu-samsungs-gesamt-software-firmware.518903/
Choose a way to download your Stock-Rom. Then go to http://novafusion.pl/tutorials/installation-guide-golden/
Follow the instructions but use the stock-rom, not the custom rom. Reboot into downloadmode again.
Repeat but now install the custom rom. When you start it now, it will stuck at the system loading screen. But dont worry... restart into recovery mode (Vol+ + Home + Power) and go to Wipe, factory reset.
Restart and be happy.
EDIT: I could also reproduce the bug... It really happens when you use factory reset in cm.... So.. just dont use it. Start it for a factory reset manually into twrp and make there the factory reset.
Hey guys,
I was using my phone today and decided to turn it off. I am currently on 5.1 and I am rooted on stock. When I turned it back on, I was kind of stuck on a boot loop but I can usually bypass this by holding down the power button until I feel a quick vibrate and then my phone starts doing the "Optimizing Apps...". However, it didn't do that this time so I decided to reboot my phone into recovery, wipe the cache and dalvik and restart. Again, stuck on the boot animation screen. So I just let it run its course and then all of a sudden I see my phone go to the home screen but my launcher is reset and I am running out of cache space. I decide to connect my phone to my computer and backup some files. As I backup the last of my DCIM folder, my phone reboots and all of a sudden I have the new Motorola boot animation with the stitching I guess. But then I'm stuck at the bootloop again.
Anyone else experience this or know how I can fix this? I reaaallly don't want to factory reset.
I recently did a reset via settings on a gen 1. No change in boot animation. I then did a reset via stock recovery and got the new animation. I then did another reset via settings and during the first boot it had the old animation but subsequent boots have the new animation.
