[Q] Is the CSC file XEEJM1 the same as NEEJM1? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I can't seem to find the NEEJM1 CSC file anywhere (which is the one I am using atm. and it is the one that pops on my phone when I dial: *2767*4387264636#). The closts thing I can find is XEEJM1.
So my question is: Is it the same? Or where can I find the NEEJM1?
Thanks alot!
EDIT:
checked on http://www.samfirmware.com/ and I couldn't find any CSC files with NEEJM1 either..

(Replying to my own post to put it on the front page of the Q&A thread again)

they are not the same no XEE is for the nordic/scandic country. denmark, sweden, norway etc.
not sure where NEE is from

I'm from Denmark and I have NEE on my phone (which I bought in Denmark). So does this mean that it's from Denmark aswell?
Anyone knows where I can find the NEE?

could be XEE is the scandic version, and NEE is a pure danish version. you have swype in danish too ?

On the NEE version? Yea, I do.
But what I wanna know is, what's the difference between those CSC's? Is the XEE a good CSC or?

This was the phone i could play with in the store. It had these 3 values.
It had Swype had full support for Danish - worked flawless.
Funny thing is, i can not find the XXJF5 firmware on this site?

It's the JFB firmware you're looking for. It is on the site, but with a different localization (Russian), the one you checked out was Danish.

Is it possible to extract the CSC file from the device? (with root maybe?)

It' s not that easy, everyone wanted to do that with stock JF3 firmware.
Why do you want JFB? Apparently the latest JG5 is better, faster, doesn't have russian-specific CSC and I'm sure it has Danish support.

This is correct.
Fastest ROM I have used so far and I can confirm it does indeed have Danish support built in

[Q] T-Mobile Rom Germany

Hello Guys,
I've updated over chevron. Now i wanted to flash it back, but didn't found the german t-mobile rom, can someone help me? I've looked in the forum but couldn't find anything, anyone have a idea?
Thanks
Seb
Which rom have you got?
DTM JJ6???
to check enable samsung diag tool hit in *#1234#
I think one of the DTM roms is t-mobile branded.
ROM
Hi Chris,
My Data:
PDA: I8700XXJJ6
Phone:the same
CSC: I8700DTMJJ6
Bluetoth sw / hw 0.0.1
couldn't found dtm anywhere? I'm confused
thanks for your quick answer
I assume you are in need of the CSC file.
But I think what you can do is just flash the JJ6 DMT rom found on samfirmware or this site onto your phone whilst preserving your current CSC file!!!!
So you dont loose the branding and you go back to JJ6!!!!
My other question is: Why do you need the branding? :S
Also you can just flash it at a Samsung repair center free of charge!!!!
Hey Chrisp,
Maybe it sounds strange, but it's mobile phone from my company and I'm sure it's not good when i don't have the original software on it .
How can i prevent my CSC File? That is how i have to flash like in the Screenshot? Is that right?
Other thing is which Version of the Bootloader is the good one? I have currently the version 4.10.1.9.
Thanks for your great help,
Seb
Edit: Removed.
Good bye Omnia!
Well i send it to repair center, but thanks for you help guys

CSC

Hey guys do you know where i can find a multi CSC file i mean i have only a couple (xeu xeo kor and something else) and i want to use the one for my country (HAT)
Thanks
You might want to tell which model is u want it for.??
it's the I9000 global and i want it for Romania (HAT one) i am currently using the XEU and i don't know if it's good...
XEU is for England and Europe than is good for Romania
i was having some very slow speeds on radio connection i thought it was because of the csc file?

SM-N910F Official ROMs MEGA links

All ROMs are downloaded from live.samsung-updates.com.
They were extracted and archived again for better compression, resulting in slightly less .rar size.
Of course, you can flash whichever ROM you feel like. All European phones can have a ROM from any European country without triggering KNOX. My Note is running BOC5 AUT (Swiss) although its region is EUR (Greece).
Will try to keep it updated as much as I can.
I will upload only country ROMs, not providers ROMs. For example, I will not upload TNL (Netherlands T-Mobile), I will upload only PHN (Netherlands).
Only provider ROM I will be uploading is a newer version that is not available in unbranded ROMs.
BOC5
ATO (Austria)
BTU (UK)
CYV (Cyprus)
ITV (Italy)
LUX (Luxemburg)
AUT (Switzerland)
NEE (Nordic Countries)
TPH (Portugal)
PHN (Netherlands)
PHE (Spain)
EUR (Greece)
Can you help me or give me a link with differences from BOC3 and BOC5?
I wish to know if BOC5 worth flashing.
Thank you in advance.
Sent from my SM-N910F using XDA Free mobile app
Unfortunately, there is no change log. All you can do is read here and there in XDA to see what people report in. One thing that I noticed though from BOC3 to BOC5, is that the silent function, now has the option to disable vibration too. You can press it 2 times instead of one. 1 it gets silent with vibration only and the 2nd it gets silent with no vibration.
Perfect...thanks Shadowjump.
I have updated my Note 4 to BOC5. Interestingly I was unable to update with the O2 rom. This BTU build worked!
Thanks for sharing, what i notice is BOC5 got amazing battery consumption much better than BOC3
Either version uploaded to Mega Boc5 takes 4 files, to put him on the pit odin ??
Thankkkss!!!

Samsung sometimes shows a version with 4 holders for odin files, such as:
View attachment 3284155
.Not if I explain well, or that these files are the need to create yourself.

If I understood correctly, the question is if I used these files to create the ROM files. No, the ROMs I have listed are downloaded from samsung-updates.com only. Also, I have never downloaded any rom from samsung-updates or sammobile that has 5 files inside the rar. Only file in the rar is the ROM. This is what you flash.
You can also send me a PM in Spanish if you want. Hablo Espaniol.
For those not knowing how to install. i came from stock unrooted kitkat:
extract .rar.
Download Odin (i used 3.10.6) , click on "AP" and select the .tar.md5 file from the rar archive. Wait for the md5 check to finish. reboot your phone in download mode (vl down + home + power ) . press volume up, connect phone to PC and click on start in odin when the phone is detected. then wait for the process to finish and don't unplug the cable before everything is finished. after the phone rebooted i made a factory reset in the settings to make sure everything is clean.
more detailed and better written instructions on sammobile, just select the rom (for example ATO 5.0.1 ) for your device and click it. scroll down and see instructions + odin download link.
After flash using PDA in odin is necesary flash moden or another thing?? Thanks in avanced

Thanks, changed it.
Is there any confirmation of these ROMs working on Sprint models? Which Rom would you recommend for a Sprint user? Btw, my name's spam, new to the forum and Android and rooting in General.
Hello
it will error on the XEF rom. These ireland rom the version that appears. Not France
Are you sure Walid54? Why would it error? All ROMS work on any European phone. I have an English ROM in a Greek CSC phone.
The version I have for XEF is this: http://live.samsung-updates.com/det..._4_Snapdragon/SM-N910F/XEF/N910FXXU1BOC5.html
It is directly from samsung-updates.com
yes I'm sure. Its makes me MET Ireland. Not XEF France
