[Q] Mobile-apps marketing and monetization

A hello across the xda forum,
We're holding a survey on how mobile-app developers market (and monetize) their mobile applications. Its a global survey and focused mainly for app developers. The survey's main purpose is to answer questions like how the mobile apps market is evolving and what will it become in the coming years. This information will help developers better develop, market and therefore monetize their apps.
Would anyone be interested in this kind of research ?

Central Themes - A Website Dedicated to Android Themes

About 5 months ago, I had the idea of creating a site strictly for themes for rooted Android phones. Of course, I did my research and there are a few out there, but none of them had the organization or information one needed about any certain theme. So, I went with my idea and now today, here I am with the initial design of my latest project, Central Themes.
The way I see Central Themes is a place where developers can sign up for their own developer profiles where they will be allowed to upload their themes with screenshots, features, descriptions, etc.
Now, while users will not be able to sign-up for their own profiles, they will be able to comment and leave their feedback on themes on the website.
Now, why am I posting this here? Simply put, I need your feedback and who better to ask for feedback than the users of the themes and the developers who create them!
Right now, all I have are the initial designs and that's where you guys come in. Check out http://www.centralthemes.com/feedback and tell me what you think!
What features would you like to see added, what other information needs to be put on the theme pages, would you like forums, etc, etc, etc.
So, please, feel free to send an e-mail to the address on the website or feel free to leave your constructive criticism in this thread.
Thanks,
Travis James

A need for all our android devices.

Hello everyone, i found this link to a petition from a signature of a senior member somewhere in the galaxy s II forum, but after clicking the link, I found out that it was a petition for samsung to completely make android more open to the public and so that developers could have a less hard time in porting new roms, customizing their devices, etc. Just click the link to learn more. Thanks http://www.change.org/petitions/samsung-mobile-help-third-party-development-achieve-full-potential-of-purchased-devices#
EDIT: Here are the exact reasons posted in that petition site, none of the words used will be coming from me, all of the words inside the quotation marks will be the property of the linked site I have given above.
"Samsung Mobile releases many mobile devices worldwide, yet has an unfortunate reputation for being somewhat slow to update devices to the latest firmware version. This leaves users open to security vulnerabilities, which is detrimental to the experience of paying users.
We, the undersigned, petition Samsung Mobile to release as much as is possible to third party developers (in particular, driver libraries and source headers) in order to allow users to obtain full functionality of the device they have paid for, and further the principles of free open source software (FOSS)."
