help anyone?

you should have left it as just JPM without the lag fix
the internal SD is ruined, you have seen the sticky poll topic for sure.
just send it back to bell for repair, no much you can do at this point.

yeah.. I figured so, but should I wipe everything and flash it back to Bell stock or what?

yes, flash it back to JH2, so they don't ask you too many questions
or simply kill it off and leave it with

and blame it on KIES got stuck meanwhile installing JH2

..........

lol OP ... you scared me to death cause i repartionated my SD also a few times with lagfixes. So your internal SD is fine? False alarm?

During Flashing....A small Question.

During Flashing with new ROM, is it ok to keep SD Card and SIM card inside the phone? Or we need to keep it out?
better to keep it zipped up -- noone wants to see that.
wow...lol funny

I used to flash the phone with both on. My SD card had a break down... but I still never take out the SIM card.
I didn't take mine out when I was flashing to Touch-IT 4.4, didn't have trouble flashing.

.... Dude.. Too much info!!!
****************************
it only changes some files on the ppc drive.. it's shouldn't effect the sim card or sd card.... unless there's some kind of crazy power surge or something and the electricity shoots through your pc and your usb and completely fries your phone...

Please help

I just got a new g1 and after i registered it everything i click flashes on the screen then closes real fast. i cant even power it off becuz i will say the device options menu and it will close.
did you try pulling the battery to force a reboot?
yes i did and now im stuck at a caution screen
you need to give more details.... rom: modded or stock. if modded, which one
use proper grammar (or atleast so its descriptive and readable)
give more details on whats on the screen
Okay, I am sorry for the grammer. I bought the g1 off ebay and figured out how to use adb to activate it with wifi. I then started using the phone and everything would close as soon as it opened. I think it is a regular tmobile stock rom and i downgraded it to rc29.
maybe this will help you put your mind at ease

OMG HE DIED?!?!? WTF WHEN!??! HOW?!?
if your running the regular rom idk what you can do other than reflash your rom
find 1.6tmobile ota update and flash it. its probably caused by permissions issues
but theres no way to fix it without root
so you do or you dont have root? what screen exactly are you seeing when you take the battery out and turn it on?

Just curious: (Showing 2 COMS) Odin3 Glitch?

So about three days ago I decided to root and put a custom ROM on my phone. Followed the MobileTechVideos and realized something odd happened.
Why did it show 2 different COMS? Shouldn't there have been one?
My build is 1010 and it was the VERY first time I rooted and put a custom ROM on.
Here we are three days later with NO problems.
Plan on putting a different ROM tomorrow and wasn't sure if I should worry about this or if it was just a glitch.

I have seen this on rare occasions....i blame Windows and move on.

So nothing to worry about, huh?
I'm about to try a new ROM so I'll update once finished.
Well I didn't flash when this occurred, I don't recall if just restarting odin cleared it up or if I had to restart windows.
Yeah, I remember it just not going away. Either way it did recognize it and worked itself out. Maybe a bug or just because I have build 1010?
I can't get into download mode via three button... Check out my other topic, please!!!

Well, I found the solution, if anybody has this problem; the usb connecter was the cause: the metallic part in the center seemed close to one other and even when the phone wasn't charging, it made it think like it was. So I just took a knife and straightened it up and now everything is back to normal.
